Feel free to reject the changes to extra pins, but I find it highly unlikely that there was ever four extra included in this set. There was 5 in total (no extra) in the sealed set I just parted out.

I think it's okay to accept this. The change log shows there was some confusion
about this part and
and it took several changes to correct both parts. After all, I don't see
any evidence for 4 the extra
in this set.
As for the other request, there should be 35
in this set according to the instructions and the official inventory data. I
have adjusted the quantities after accepting your request.

The different interior is because the set was released in 2000 and produced through
2003 (at least). In 2000 they still used those transparent part trays (inlays)
to present some interesting parts. Sets from later production runs did not have
that tray anymore and the parts from the tray just came in an additional bag.
Of course this does not explain why they changed the age recommendation. Maybe
it was just a marketing decision to make the set more interesting for younger
children (or their parents).

I can understand why: the Ghast from 21122 came with an extra printed plate so
that you could change the face from hostile to harmless mob. This also required
the removal of 2 1x2 tiles and a 1x1 round plate.
I would like to get advice from the inventory admins how I could add this to
the catalog.
My own suggestion is to add a mineghast02a to the cat. For the printed 2x4 tile
I would suggest this part as counterpart
The difference between the two versions of mineghast02 is the exchange of 4 parts
from the a-version and replacing it by one part to get the b-version as shown
in the instructions.
Please let me know how to proceed, you guys know how to reach me.

Parts are like minifigures - they cannot have counterparts or alternates in the
inventory. So if you want to add that Ghast to the catalog, you should choose
the version which is shown first in the instructions (i.e. with part 87079pb0225).
This is also how we add minifigures which have alternate parts (helmet or hair
piece for example).

The instructions shows the sold stud containers and this set was released in
1985, about 6-7 years before the hollow stud version of container was released.

We discussed about the 4073s in the admin forum last month and we agreed that
sets from the 80s always had them on sprues. But please don't start now to
change them all at once as we have too many other things to process at the moment

a look at some older sets.

This is one of the most important aspects of BrickLink (especially when it comes
to parts variants). Since there is no evidence that the set came with 92280,

In the above video is a brand new set being opened, you can see the string a few times and I estimate its length to be about 17-20cm, which would make the 20cm string the correct part for this set.

No problem! For now I have adjusted the inventory to have 34337 in the regular
items section as this is for sure the more common variant in this set (that also
makes it easier to add the extra part).

I noticed a similar change on
last year. It's also visible in the additional image (attached). And I'm
pretty sure we won't split parts because of such a small and non-functional
difference. It would be a nightmare for everyone who wants to sort and list them
properly.

There are some assemblies I imagine may not be counted as so, such as the drawbridge

Interesting question. I don't think there are any guidelines or limits at
the moment but maybe we could discuss that as part of the catalog project #10
(Define Part Assemblies).

We would need to adress some of the assemblies with strings anyway because they
sometimes include parts or colors which are not part of the regular items section
(because the assemblies often have multiple parts with N/A colors or undetermined
string lengths - see example below). Unfortunately we don't have much these
days to move on with anything as we are completely overwhelmed with new parts
and set inventories.

It's the same part with a color change, dark-bluish grey sticker on dark-bluish
grey piece or yellow sticker on yellow piece, so it seemed logic to be the same
number with 2 different colors. Some people have already added the yellow color
to the part, so I wanted to add the picture.
Please confirm that you still want a separate entry?

It is the seller's responsibility to list their parts under the correct entry
and color. The policy for catalog items is that different stickers have different
entries. So yes, I still want a separate entry.

Just rebuilt this set from the Lego instructions. Using part 89762, which is what came with my set as well causes a stud-width gap between the front and back canopy. Item number 4581453 is what is specified in the Lego instructions and will fill the gap between the two canopies.

89762 and 4581453 are the same part.
89762 is the mold number (in any color) and 4581453 is the PCC (Part Color Code,
also known as Element ID) for this part in white.

Nope, das grüne Rechteck bekommt man sofort nach dem Upgrade auf Verkäufer-Status,
insofern kann man sich das quasi selbst zulegen. Ich musste das machen, um hier
Inv-Admin-Status zu bekommen, aber den Verifizierungsprozess habe ich gar nicht
gestartet.

die eigenen Teile aus Sets oder Reste helfen.
Kann bricklink.com das irgendwie wie rebrickable.com, daß man seine LEGO-Sets
auflistet, damit die Datenbank weiß, welche Teile man hat und einem dann sagen,
was zu einem MOC oder sonstigen Set noch fehlt?
Ich finde da irgendwie nichts.

Im Grunde hast du dir deine Frage schon beantwortet: Eine Option, seine Set-
oder Teilesammlung zu verwalten, gibt es bei BrickLink nicht. Du könntest dies
höchstens tun, indem du hier ein Upgrade zum Verkäuferkonto machst, und dann
den Shop geschlossen lässt und als persönliches Inventar benutzt. Aber eigentlich
ist Rebrickable dafür genau der passende Ort.

Du musst noch die "New Seller Verification" abwarten, da werden deine Dokumente
geprüft, das kann bis zu einigen Wochen dauern. In der Zeit besser keine weiteren
Mails schicken, sonst wirst du in der Warteschlange zurückgesetzt. Eine Statusmeldung
dazu gibt es m.W. nach nicht, aber wenn der Prozess abgeschlossen ist, kannst
du den Shop öffnen.
Wann hast du denn die Infos eingereicht?
Und ist es Absicht, dass du keine Versandmethode für Inlandsversand eingerichtet
hast?

There are two strings that come with this set, a shorter string for the fishing pole and a longer one for the crane. Judging from the information in the above two links I believe these two lengths are correct for this set, however I do not own it new and have no further evidence of the length of the actual length of the two strings. If anyone owns this set new and could confirm, it would be appreciated.

I actually have the set ( ) but I got it when I was 4 or 5 years old and played
a lot with it at that time so I cannot guarantee that my parts are still original.
The short string has been replaced many years ago but I just checked the long
string as that seems to be original and it has a lengh of about 77cm.

Sets 40145 and 40305 seem to have the same sticker sheet, but applied to different colored parts. Also suggest changing the name of items 3004pb222, 3004pb224, 3004pb221 to reflect inclusion in both sets as they are the same color in both.

The sticker from set 60207 has a gray background but the sticker from set 60173
(and also from 60275) has a yellow background. So they are different stickers
which means we cannot use the same part entry for them. Instead a new catalog
entry is needed for the variant with gray sticker.

Those lenghs on peeron are in studs, not in cm.
The short string is shown in the instructions with a lengh of 20cm.
The long string is most likely
as this part has already been confirmed in several other Divers sets.

Recommend a longer line and trimming it to size(s). 200cm is currently cheaper
on BrickLink than the 150cm and 122cm lengths. Cheers

I'm not sure if the left and right versions of
were an intentional distinction. But I have found at least three other used copies
of this set with 1x left and 1x right version (and also all other Visorak figures
with quantities as shown in the inventory) so I will accept these requests for
now.

All these figures came in a bag with nothing else in it. My guess is that they're
packaged immediately after production with these different figures being made
at the same time by the same mold. These two just we're talking about happen
to be on the different sides of the glow in the dark color injection point. But
again, it's just speculation, I have no proof.

Interesting, thanks for these additional information. I would not be surprised
if that bag was also included in 8757 - 8759.

If you ask me, small print variations are totally normal, especially for parts
which have been produced over a longer period of time. And white color on those
arms can easily look a bit grayish due to the dark background.

| This very much sounds like a production error and BL usually does not include
information about such errors in the catalog. I also did not find any further
confirmation for wrong legs in this set. What I have found, though, is that apparently
all review boxes (which were sent to Brickset, Eurobricks, newelementary etc.)
did not include the Wile E. Coyote figure at all. So maybe the reason for that
was because he had wrong legs in early productions runs and the figure was therefore
removed from the boxes?
I will leave this request open for some time in case anyone has any additional
information about it. But as said I don't think we need to add anything here
as long as we don't find further confirmation. Anyway, thanks for mentioning
this.
Btw. did your friend try to get replacement parts? I believe TLG does not have
replacement parts for collectible minifigs but maybe the costumer service can
confirm that the wrong legs are a known error.

I bought this figure in the Lego store in Munich already assembled, but this variation has a different head. Otherwise, the figure is the same. So type is alternate.

As Bret said, minifig inventories cannot have alternate parts. Therefore this
request cannot be accepted.
The real question is, how should we continue with this minifigure entry? It looks
like it is often available with the head which is currently in the inventory
(although this is a "strange" head). But from time to time it comes assembled
with a different head and we don't know which is the intended head or if
there is one indended head at all.
We could keep the inventory and add a note that the figure has been found with
different heads in some stores.
Or we could delete the inventory and mark the figure for deletion because there
are too many possibilities in regards to the head and we don't know which
one is correct.
What does the community think about this?

That set shows 2x4, 2x6 or 2x8 plates to make the clip fit... Our baseplate cannot
fit an extra plate. But let me get some better pics and add it. What category

In that set one part is included in a minifigure inventory. Therefore the complete

Beyond the inconsistency of the Bricklink catalog, counterpart is often used
to show sub parts of assemblies. Why is this case different?

Hm, usually the counterparts section is not used for sub parts but for part assemblies
which can be build with parts from the regular items section (like wheel/tire
assemblies). And of course for stickered parts.
Sub parts, however, should be included in the inventory of the "upper" part (like
a multipack, complete sprue etc.).

The lot we found it in has some very old 60's bricks as well as some 70s
and 80s.
A 50*50 light gray baseplate is also included, glued on a wooden plate, exactly
matching this clip.

I don't know anything about it but what you can see there, but my read is
that it is an incomplete split. I think there are just two, but no inventories
were ever updated and the original was not marked for deletion.

white zippers comes in different color shades like it is shown in the additional

From what I have seen so far I think it is well possible that this fence does
not exist in fabuland brown. There were some discussions about it in the past
years and also there nobody said it exists in fabuland brown:

I am pretty convinced. If the packaging is different, and the sets can be distinguished
that easily from the outside, then I see no reason not to have a second set entry.
But I have too much to do as it is, so someone else would need to get the ball
rolling on it to make it happen.

Okay. Do you think we need two new entries and mark the current one for deletion?
Or just one new entry 75188-2 for the later version?
(Btw. Brickset has separate entries with numbers 75188-1 and 75188-2.)

Another user contacted me that they had flat silver in this piece and I rechecked mine. It is not the modern flat silver that I am best used to, but I do accept that it is old flat silver. Not pearl light gray. I have other pearl light gray from the set and it looks different.

Mh, okay.
I'm not against approving this, but I don't know if it will be helpful
in any way. Right now we have this part in flat silver in 7 sets from 2004-2010
and in pearl light gray in 11 sets from 2002-2010. I would assume they are all
the same color, just in different shades. (Fifty shades of silver? )
And as far as I know TLG did not differentiate between pearl light gray and flat
silver anyway.

How can you see that it's [P=32064b,7] and not?

I'm quite sure
was first introduced in 2008 while
[P=32064b,7]
was a commen alternate around 2004-2005.
Also the set was inventoried with the "b" type and with extra parts (see change
log) so it is likely the submitter found that variant in a new set.
The source does not mean anything here, all inventories submitted before 2007
(or so) have "Unknown" by default.
