of their hands.
47394pb084 may have been used as a variant of 47394pb020.

of how our catalog is being run, but why aren't sets inventoried here faster?
Are we still depending on users to inventory the sets? With Lego owning Bricklink,
I thought the inventory lists would be updated almost at release, either by
Lego supplying a part list, or supplying actual sets for verification.

I very much believe it's still users.
Although lego owns BL, I believe they are leaving it as a hands-off wholly owned
subsidiary as much as possible.
Any parts lists from LEGO official would include inconsistencies in part numbers
and color names so it would probably be more work cross referencing than just
buying the set and inventorying it.

I didn't know where to put this and I sincerely wish that there was a report
button on Stud.io.
There is a user that is going around posting "MOCs" of inappropriate actions
being done all told using Lego's products.
I beg you to call this out and if any of the admins or moderators see this, get

After a week I finally got a refund . Was a huge pain

The box looks real - it's the first time I've seen a fake set with the
LEGO logo reproduced. But those figures definitely look fake. I wonder if it
is a fake in a genuine box

It is the complete set copied almost 4k pieces . None of the bricks say lego
on them. even the stickers look real minus the china stamp on back. I'm afraid
once this is returned it will just be put back into circulation .

able to siphon off the taxes part. Since BL has control over these payments,
they can also initiate a refund.
So you are correct in that BL doesn't have the money, but you are incorrect
in claiming they therefore can't handle a refund. They most definitely can.

involved, so BL can refund the tax part as well (otherwise the seller would have
to pay back the tax part).

Yes, the Known Colors is automatically compiled from the part being in a sets
inventory.
BrickStore does not rely on Known Colors... you just need to change the colour
drop down menu to All Colors (top right corner of the 'Add Items' dialog
box).

Ah, I got it. Yes I already used 'All colors' but as soon as I selected
blue, the item disappeared from the matching parts. But that was because I had
enabled the 'lock color selection' button (right of 'All Colors' .
With that button deselected, I can indeed just add it in blue now. Thanks!

You can easily add it by changing the colour to blue, if you had a store.

Just leave an invoiced order open, tell them you wont pull until they are done.

The skis with numbers 28922 and 18744 are 1mm longer in length than mold number
90509, 48mm to 47mm, respectively. Although the three have their studs in the
same location from the rear of the ski, the hand ridges are slightly higher up
and the pointed ends are longer on the newer molds.
I will consider a split of this part into 90509 and 18744/28922.

I have this part, with embossed grille, in blue. There are lots of this part
in blue for sale as well. But the color blue is not in the list of 'known'
colors. It this because it's not in a known set?
As a result I can not add the part the BrickStore application, as it only allows
to add it in a known color. Of course you could say that's an issue in BrickStore,
but it relies on the 'known colors' in Bricklink. And since we know this
part really exists in blue, shouldn't it be in the 'known colors'
list, even if we don't know in what set it appeared?
What would be the best way to solve this?

I cannot find any evidence that this part exists in Medium Orange, and new parts certainly were not being made in a retired color as late as 2006. Will attach a photo of this set with a Bright Light Orange fence in another post.

This is from an online listing of this set.

In this image the cone looks more Medium Orange, which makes you think the fence
is bright light orange indeed. But I think the fence is yellow.

This set may have been updated from earlier colors (medium orange cone and bright
light orange fence) to later colors (orange and yellow) if it was produced for
a couple of years.

That is highly unlikely. Bright Light Orange replaced Medium Orange and there’s
no evidence that this cone ever appeared in the older color. The mold was first
used in 2004, which is after the color change. These parts are definitely just
current colors.

The box looks real - it's the first time I've seen a fake set with the
LEGO logo reproduced. But those figures definitely look fake. I wonder if it
is a fake in a genuine box

It is the complete set copied almost 4k pieces . None of the bricks say lego
on them. even the stickers look real minus the china stamp on back. I'm afraid
once this is returned it will just be put back into circulation .

I don’t know if the original inventory was submitted based on the render, but
it’s highly unlikely that it was. For there to be a Medium Orange fence in place
of a Yellow/BLO fence suggests that there may be alternates? This is a 2006 set,
so it’s very possible that a first release had Cool Silver/Fence color and then
later Silver/Fence color. Medium Orange and Yellow are not close enough to be
confused like that, but we have seen it happen with Medium Orange and Bright
Light Orange.

It's hard to tell from a sealed bag, but I'm pretty sure all Light Gray
are 6mm.

catalog and should be conflated with Pearl Light Gray.
So yes, there are two colours and two PCC, but in BrickLink they are both Pearl
Light Gray.

If we keep making exceptions when two silver colours are known in the catalog,
then we will never be able to untangle this mess. If we do move the part, the
mess can be limited to Pearl Light Gray only.

This is true. The Flat Silver sword is the main color under Pearl Light Gray,
but Cool Silver being much lighter creates a problem. I think we can submit change
requests, but it’s probably best to leave 2006 alone until Cool Silver gets a
color of its own. It is indeed a massive project, and even the comic guy thinks

I cannot find any evidence that this part exists in Medium Orange, and new parts certainly were not being made in a retired color as late as 2006. Will attach a photo of this set with a Bright Light Orange fence in another post.

This is from an online listing of this set.

In this image the cone looks more Medium Orange, which makes you think the fence
is bright light orange indeed. But I think the fence is yellow.

In that listing, the cone definitely looks orange and the fence looks yellow.

This set may have been updated from earlier colors (medium orange cone and bright
light orange fence) to later colors (orange and yellow) if it was produced for
a couple of years.

That is highly unlikely. Bright Light Orange replaced Medium Orange and there’s
no evidence that this cone ever appeared in the older color. The mold was first
used in 2004, which is after the color change. These parts are definitely just
current colors.

| I ran across the Duplo Van Type 2 which exists in three different versions. The
1406cxx-part is made from three parts plus wheels screwed together. The top part
has the mould number 58234 visible but is not in the catalog. Is it possible
to add this as an alternate number?
I think 58234 should be added as an alternate part number to all three of the
1406cxx-parts.
The 58235 and 50281 are not as important in the catalog as they are only visible
if you unscrew it.

Have you tried to contact the post office to have your parcel returned? It isn't
gone until it's in the hands of the buyer.

Yes but the item's posted on Saturday and the post office was closed on Sunday
so there's no one I could contact to intercept it. I even went to the hub
at the airport to enquire if my parcel's still here but it was too late.
By the time I went back to the office on Monday, it's already arrived at
the international hub and there's no tracking number for it, as the buyer
said they don't need tracking. Guess I missed the red flag as I'm new
to selling here. I've accepted it as a loss but I hope I can at least do
something about BrickLink's fees.

Bricklinks fees are 3%. If you've accepted that you have lost the item, the
fees are minimal in comparison and not worth the effort. Learn from it, that
tracking / delivery confirmation is for the seller and not the buyer. Although
even that won't necessarily help if the buyer claims the card was used fraudulently.

it's not my fault to lose over $200 as the world is full of awful people.
I'll just wait for PayPal's review before doing anything else. Wish me

If you declare having been scammed (to Police) with sufficient proofs, you may
ask your banker to cancel the IBAN with the Police declaration.

There's a photo somewhere in this long thread of Reddish Gold swords and
armor pieces in different shades of RG. 47474 is still the part that appears
more inconsistent than others. This set should have the Copper one removed and
the Pearl Gold sword moved to the main section.
Are the Silver parts all lighter than your typical Pearl Light Gray? Nothing
in this set should be Flat Silver.

The ‘Flat Silver’ swords are TLG 131 Silver or BL Pearl Light Gray/Flat Silver.
The ‘Pearl Light Gray’ swords are TLG 296 Cool Silver or BL Pearl Light Gray.
This is an issue I have brought up before with not recognizing Cool Silver.
Randy has suggested that any pre-2010 Flat Silver part be moved to Pearl Light
Gray so that BL Pearl Light Gray contains both old Silver and 2006 Silver. I
have to go back and look at my list, but there are over a hundred parts that
come in both 131 and 296, so sellers will probably continue to sell darker old
Silver parts under Flat Silver.
The eventual goal is to have BL Flat Silver contain TLG 315 Silver Metallic (2011
Silver) because right now it contains Cool Silver IDs, new Silver parts, and
old Silver parts.

I search for items from my wanted lists by just visiting my store, like any other,
and there you can click on the "Wanted list" button. That does not work for stockroom
items unfortunately, but it's a start - I usually do that when I upload now
stock, just to make sure I didn't miss anything I don't actually want
to sell...

Light Blue was not molded in new parts after 2003. This piece matches the other Sky Blue 'Baby' parts.

Here is a photo of this set. Photos like this one make Bright Green parts more
obvious, but there are many other sets with a Green/Bright Green problem.

The elephant head and base match each other in color and TLG 45 Light Blue had been retired at the end of 2003.
Part 49254 element ID: 4223128. Retrieved from the LEGO parts database as TLG 232 Dove Blue. Furthermore, other sets from the 'Baby' theme from the mid-2000s used this color.
Light Yellow was replaced by Bright Light Yellow at the beginning of 2004. Light Yellow was only used in about two or three "floor-cleaning" sets after its retirement.

This set should have an inventory similar to 3620 from the same year. It looks like these Dacta sets are combinations or scaled-up versions of other sets released around the same time. An inventory change request from 2014 was submitted to change Green parts to Bright Green and Orange to Medium Orange. https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=170977
Many of these 'Orange' parts either don't exist or were released in later years, with Item IDs that are too low to be from 2002.
The Purple flower is without a doubt Dark Pink. The old DUPLO coffee pot mold was retired in the 1990s and doesn't have a photo in Bright Green. It does not exist. The new mold exists in set 3620 from the same year, if that's any more reason to change this one.

There's a photo somewhere in this long thread of Reddish Gold swords and
armor pieces in different shades of RG. 47474 is still the part that appears
more inconsistent than others. This set should have the Copper one removed and
the Pearl Gold sword moved to the main section.
Are the Silver parts all lighter than your typical Pearl Light Gray? Nothing
in this set should be Flat Silver.

They look Flat Silver to me. I will work on a picture tonight or this weekend.

The ‘Flat Silver’ swords are TLG 131 Silver or BL Pearl Light Gray/Flat Silver.
The ‘Pearl Light Gray’ swords are TLG 296 Cool Silver or BL Pearl Light Gray.
This is an issue I have brought up before with not recognizing Cool Silver.
Randy has suggested that any pre-2010 Flat Silver part be moved to Pearl Light
Gray so that BL Pearl Light Gray contains both old Silver and 2006 Silver. I
have to go back and look at my list, but there are over a hundred parts that
come in both 131 and 296, so sellers will probably continue to sell darker old
Silver parts under Flat Silver.
The eventual goal is to have BL Flat Silver contain TLG 315 Silver Metallic (2011
Silver) because right now it contains Cool Silver IDs, new Silver parts, and
old Silver parts.

Should ID 4245074 be added as an alternate part number?
Except for this set there are 4 more sets with this part in Medium Blue.
There's a color image in medium blue and in light blue (not known in any
set).
It looks very hard all these colors, this item in this set was changed earlier
from light turquoise to medium blue.
Do you have any idea about the color of this part in the other 4 sets?

Can you please provide proof for these changes!
Both variants mostly / only came as alternate in 2007 sets, which could mean
they came in 2008 or later, but this set was only produced in 2007 (Collector's
Guide).
