Are the parts mixed with other sets or are they always kept inside its box?
I am wondering about
- the length of wire (if you are sure it is the original and not cut).
- the wire and connectors
- the motor (based on the type of its connectors holes, there can be in three
variations but only two of them exists and distinguished on Bricklink for now)
I would like to know if your set came with

If soc003a needs to be made, I believe I can do it. But it sounds like
just need to be marked for deletion and the minifig parts all be added to the
inventory.

I don't see another way. But I have send a message to the submitter. Let's
wait for his reply first. I'm wondering about the whole inventory of set
3410, especially Minifigure (pieces), green tiles and black plates.

There's been a lot of communication about this set and it's Minifigures.
Randy bought a sealed set and will handle this once it's received.

This has been completed. The above figures all needed a hair transplant, from
brown to black and vice versa.
Since the correct minifigures were added to the catalog and the inventory of
the set was updated accordingly, the original inventory change request here is
no longer needed and will be discarded.
Thanks to the OP for bringing this to our attention.

Figure dp145 should include part 80336 to make a complete figure. The figure is listed without this part.
This is also the case with the other figures in this range, none of them include the base in the inventory to complete a full figure.

The diamond dress container top is not considered part of the minifigure. Minifigures
are defined on BrickLink by how they are constructed in the set instructions,
and they do not include handheld accessories. For this minifigure, you can see
the instructions image below. The minifigure as defined by BrickLink is on the
left, and the handheld accessory is on the right. Therefore, the current inventory
is correct and so are all of the inventories for the other figures like this.

Found several in collections and confirmed by Gary Istock. The reason LEGO stopped making the 2x4 brick with SHELL font was that Shell had changed it’s font: from SHELL in caps to Shell with a capital S. Packaging was never changed, only the contents

It does make some sense, for I know
came with both versions. But I need some time to think this over.
I never saw this set with a 3009pt1 brick.
Besides I already have this pending private project of all SHELL, Shell Bricks.
So I will handle this request when all these are checked.

Sure thing.
Using the same logic the release year for
should be 1971, and not 1965-1966, as 1971 was the year the Shell logo was redesigned.

This isn't a set but a part. Year release of a part comes from the set release
date.
had 649pb01 as regular and 649pb02 as alternate, I just switched them.
So now it shows that 649pb01 came as an alternate part later.
Set 325 was sold untill 1970.
Set 491 was sold untill 1969 in which year all 400 supplemental boxes were replaced
by 900 supplemental boxes.
So the outcome may be not to approve this request and instead remove this brick
from set 491. I only have the 491 version with square window myself, which definately
only came with the 2 x 4 SHELL brick.

I dunno, the 1 x 6 brick shows up in LEGO catalogues from before 1971. I think
it’s more likely that Shell gradually changed their corporate identity. First
the font went from SHELL to Shell and the biggest change was in 1971 with a redesigned
logo. That would also explain why there are trucks with both SHELL and Shell,
but they all have the same (old, pre 1971) logo. I’ll try to find some old ads
to back this theory 🕵🏻♂️

promotional images are not very reliable sources.
Here's one they never updated consistently:

as I am pretty sure there are no 3747a in Magenta or Bright Light Yellow. 
If you find the evidence in a sealed set or even online set reviews or unboxing
videos, you should post that here.
