Forward the suggestion: https://mil.wa.gov/the-legend-of-bigfoot

Considering we're often in Sasquatch country on our hikes up here, maybe
I'll throw some unwanted bricks into our backpack. Inadvertently drop them
on the trail as we trek...

Probably best using earthy colors though, less conspicuous

-popsicle

Haha
Make sure you use the LEGO bricks made from plant based materials

You're trying to set a tiered price on a zero price.

It's the wrong field; see above there is the Price field to fill in.

Thank you so much. I see what I did now. I did not notice the tiered prices were
at zero before. I appreciate your time. Have a great day.

No problem, I know how to right click open the picture in another tab and hit
CTRL + "+" to enlarge it enough.

Also, maybe OP will need to make other pictures someday.

I don’t want to add any price I am using bricklink avg. I am very new to the
software. This is my first inventory.

So don't type anything price related, you're trying to set a tiered price.

Simply add with zero price, zero tiered, etc.

Then later on, in the list, CTRL+A then CTRL+G

Er, try the PrntScrn key (or Shift+PrntScrn or Win+PrntScrn, I don’t remember
Windows’ thing).

Photos are both too detailled (= too big) and not clear enough.

I have all sorts, need to find the storage box to be sure exactly what I have,
should be windows, doors, wheels and more.

I’ll check for them this week.

I’d like to say yes but I’d be auditioning to be a politician if I did.

It’s a weird feeling knowing that you are on borrowed time and I really don’t
know how I should be acting.

Unfortunately my family know nothing about Lego or other brands and I have a
lot of stuff to sell, can’t let it all disappear, many things need to go to collectors/Lego
or Kiddicraft historians.

Thanks for your concern.

I was surprised when I found them ( large collection ) as I knew about the trains
and associated items but had never seen or heard of construction sets.

Here's a recent (old) one:

I didn't know they tried the plastic bricks also.

This French brand seems to have been acquiered in 1981 then later on by Hobbies

Doubt anyone here will be interested.

Thought I could order from BL shop and arrange to cover payment of both the invoice
and BL fees with seller using these items, BL gets its fees that way.

They mark invoice as paid.

BL gets its fees, seller gets these instead of cash and their fees paid, obviously
U.K. only, no vat or other tax comes into play.

However, chances of a sale are highly unlikely.

Just rediscovered an old photo of mine circa 1979/80.

As you can see there is a mention of a London 1980 exhibition catalogue, I was
there for the exhibition on their stand.

Incidentally it was during the Iranian embassy siege.

Had a great meal with some Kiwi dealers in the Serpentine restaurant in Hyde
park at the end of the exhibition, Auckland City stamps if I remember correctly.

Great days and as you can see, once a nerd always a nerd, proud of it.

I was thinking about advertising my small business here. I walk around roads

ebay for a discounted price. It is profitable as there is no overhead.

The reason for it is because many stamps, especially on bubble mailers and small
packages, were not being voided and people reuse them. I doubt many people have
huge collections of non commemorative stamps as investments because they could
have been used in the future.

If you collect stamps, then what difference does it make if they're still
valid postage? Do stamp collectors actually use old stamps to mail letters?

To me, the purpose of a stamp is to mail a letter. When stamps are kept indefinitely
as part of a collection, they lose that purpose (although they serve another
purpose as souvenirs).

Also, I reckon that even today, stamp collectors probably represent the minority
of overall postal customers. So, I don't think there's much of a profit
incentive for postal services to cater to collectors (although they do anyway
by offering different designs). Most people probably care more about the letter
inside the envelope than the stamp on the outside.

Furthermore, from a pure profit standpoint, it doesn't really matter whether
or not customers actually use the stamps after they buy them since they've
already been paid for.

I do agree with you though in that it is odd for Royal Mail to discontinue stamps.
At least in the United States, postage stamps keep their value indefinitely.
You can even use stamps that were made in 1860!

Perhaps the cost of maintaining backward compatibility outweighs the benefits
of allowing customers to continue to use old stamps. The article claims that
the new stamps will improve security and make deliveries more efficient.

I also agree that stamp collecting is a dying hobby, but then again, stamps are
not as common as they used to be. I can count on one hand the number of stamps
I have used in the past year.

That's cool though that you collect stamps. Mind sharing some pictures of
your collection?

Certainly does seem odd especially as commemorative stamps without bar codes
can still be used.

I was an avid collector of stamps and have worked for a stamp dealer many years
ago, loved the job but pay was terrible.

Still have a small collection and many stamps just accumulated as I can’t help
but to hold on to them if they come my way.

Do you have a particular area of interest regarding your collection ?

It does seem to be something very much in decline but I’ve been out of the loop
for an awfully long time.

I worked for Rowland Hill Stamps of Kidderminster, Mail Oder and Auction company
which had a sister business selling kiloware, Severn Stamp Supplies.

Regular stamps include 1st and 2nd class large letter.

If you don’t then your customer may get surcharged.

As a life-long stamp collector, I have had a hard time understanding the logic
to this ever since it was first announced.

Part of the value of a stamp collection (of NEW, unused stamps) is that they
would have value as valid postage at face value FOREVER. So, even if stamps
in your possession held very little extra value as collectible (which is most
stamps), they always held their value as postage and thus, would never be completely
"Worthless"

It just seems very odd for Royal Mail to have de-valued stamps. I do not think
it is a smart idea by Royal Mail, either.

It makes me wonder how many lifetime collections of NEW stamps have been swapped
and how much this has or will cost Royal Mail in the end.

I don't have any facts or evidence, but it seems to me that postage stamp
collecting is a dying hobby. I can only see this Stamp Swap as another big blow
to stamp collecting.

Collectors buying stamps and never using them for postage has ALWAYS been a profit
motive for postal systems around the world. It is a big part of why so many
fancy and commemorative type stamps get produced year after year. Stamps purchased
as collectibles and never used to send letters or parcels are pure profit. But,
again, part of the reason why people buy and hold onto NEW, unused stamps in
a collection is because they would never lose value. This idea seems dead now.

  SilverHawks! Yes!

Throw in ThunderCats and you have my absolute two favorite cartoons from when
I was growing up in the 80s!

It is unfortunate that SilverHawks did not last very long. I remember it being
on for only a short period of time.

I love ThunderCats! Panthro was always my favorite!

My Leader-1 Super GoBot got more play time than almost all of my other toys combined.

I still have it and eight other Super GoBots all in their original boxes.

Woah! could I see?

SilverHawks! Yes!

Throw in ThunderCats and you have my absolute two favorite cartoons from when
I was growing up in the 80s!

It is unfortunate that SilverHawks did not last very long. I remember it being
on for only a short period of time.

The second mouse from the right looks surprisingly similar to Kranxx from SP3:

I love MASK! it really is a shame that other than a few comic book reboots, MASK
has never been that popular compared to other brands.

My find wasn't nearly as cool.

I was feeling packets* and found one with 2 heads, so I bought it thinking it
was Pinocchio. Nope, it was Tiana with 2 heads.

I never saw that film, so I wasn't really interested in having her, but the
figure is actually quite nice.

Thank you Russell. I did forward it to them, however why could the help desk
agent not forward it and let me know in the future I need to send corrections
to the API documentation there?

Because the API channel is completely separate from the Help Desk. In order to
properly get into the API channel, the user must report directly to that email
address. Otherwise, the request can get lost or it's difficult to respond
back to the original user. We've had such problems in the past of messages
being misdirected or falling through the cracks that we are trying to be pretty
strict about this. This is what our Help Desk agents are instructed to do - it's
not about whether they feel like forwarding a message or not.

While this...

Thanks for the laugh, pal!

Indeed, some users post more spam than others.

The top five spammers alone are responsible for nearly 40% of all spam!

This needs to end immediately.

I'm not so sure about that - for example, you could have a keyword filter
that only gets triggered if the post includes a link.

Just testing if that works

  A report button, BrickLink?

That'd be soooo complicated to develop, I must admit - please don't touch
anything.

It’s even more complicated to report problems on the Gallery (which is supposedly
not spaghetti code).

There is now a report feature for comments on BDP models, but it is still being
tweaked.

No problem. Thanks for all what is done!

Yes, this requires a 15 years learning "curve"

So, you’re 3 years late?

Anybody know why there has been so many spam messages/scams on the forum the
past few months? It’s getting kinda irritating….

This uptick in Forum spam has been noticed by the administration and we are currently
working on a plan to handle it in a way that is least disruptive for everyone.

A big Thank You to our Discussions Moderators for helping us mitigate the problem
in the short term. We have noticed this as well.

What about maybe if a post contains more then 1 url it has to be moderated before
it can be posted?

Um. The other catalog admins and I post multiple links in our messages a lot
of the time. We don't need our posts moderated.

True true that slipped my mind maybe more then 1 url to a “non approved site”
so for example Facebook, some sketchy gummy site, or eBay (maybe if the url is
for eBay a error pops up saying no links to eBay allowd?)

Can the same rule apply to emojis?

1. Ban Nubs_Select, 1001bricks, and SylvainLS from the forum. That alone will

Nah the main problem is those aligned with the mustard gang.

I like spam. That is how I found my three girlfriends. I have not met them
yet, but they keep asking for plane tickets to get to El Paso. I send the tickets
and no one shows up and they all said it was the airlines fault. So I am ready
to send them cash so they can buy their tickets.
