| Hello, I have some black torsos, bird facing right. But the 3 variants shown
are not clear visually on what makes them different, original, 1st reissue, 2nd
reissue? I can’t see the difference in the photo or the description, really need
more clarification on the variants.

The original would have a "rounded" bottom on the shield pattern and (I think)
small prongs in the torso. The 1st reissue has a more pointed bottom on the shield
pattern and ribs in the torso. The 2nd reissue has the rounded shield bottom
and ribs.
So:
rounded bottom = original or 2nd reissue
pointed bottom = 1st reissue
torso ribs = 1st reissue or 2nd reissue
It can be difficult to tell the difference between the rounded shield bottom
and the pointed.

It is really difficult, I just can’t see a marked difference, thank you for the

The easiest way to tell is looking at the feet of the falcon. If the feet almost
touch the border of the shield, then it is the first reissue with the pointy-bottom
shield. If the feet are far away from the border of the shield, then it is either
the second reissue or the original with the rounded-bottom shield. Knowing
whether it is the second reissue or the original comes down to then looking at
the supports inside the torso. The second reissue will have long "ribs" that
form a sort of hourglass shape (like all modern minifigures do), and the original
will have small inside supports that look like small fangs.

The second reissue from 2009/2010 has the runded shield bottom but with large
inside ribs.
