* Delete 3 Part 4019 Light Gray Technic, Gear 16 Tooth (First Version - 4 Round Holes)

I recently build the two described models from the manual. The abovementioned parts were not needed for both the A and B model. 201830 is not needed at all and 201875 only twice.

The second model uses 3 LG 4019. 2 on Page 29 and 1 on Page 36. Then it uses
the 2 Black 3176 on page 21.

Oh that is funny, my version is indeed different (see attached picture). For
3176 I see no use of it in both the online version (I checked page 21) as the
version I have.

Oh that is funny, my version is indeed different (see attached picture). For
3176 I see no use of it in both the online version (I checked page 21) as the
version I have.

Oops, now I see on page 37 on the online version they use 3176. That is contrary
to the version I have as can be seen on the picture I uploaded  .

So this set was redesigned - very interesting, many thanks for bringing this
to our attention! It seems you have the early version because your design is
also shown on the box and on the instructions cover. So they first tried to build
the alternate model only with parts from the main model but had to make some
adjustments later which required the additional parts.
Could you provide photos or scans of the complete pages 32-37 from your instructions?

to our attention! It seems you have the early version because your design is
also shown on the box and on the instructions cover. So they first tried to build

That's interesting! I am not so sure whether 'my version' is from
an earlier generation. I got this in 1998, which is 4 years after its release
date. I can also imagine that the 'peeron' version will easily get loose
such as the connection between the two gears is not that rigid and fully relies
on friction between the "Axle 1 with Pin" and the "Axle and Pin Connector". Besides,
it might also just be a cost reduction to design the B-model with only elements
from the A-model. However, the fact the 'my version' is shown on the
box suggests that you are right about mine being from an earlier generation.
Hence, I'm still not sure which version was the earlier. I will make scans
of my instructions asap!

There are indeed at least 2 different instructions.
The first instruction doesn't show any
so I approve to remove those from the regular items section.
It also indeed only shows two
I will submit a new change request for part 4019 and other differences.
