Has anyone ran into Variation in Light Bluish Gray? I only deal with new parts
and I checked out the color with my color chart which includes old gray. I have
nothing that comes close to this light of gray. The center two are normal LBG
the bottom is DBG and the two on either side of the LBG is the very light Bluish
gray.

Yes, color inconsistency is a known issue with more than a few LEGO colors these
days. The color inconsistencies in my experience are most noticeable in colors
like light bluish gray, yellow, dark blue, reddish brown, and pearl gold.

Cheers,
Randy

I would add blue, red and especially yellow to this colour list.

Seems that the colour consistency hasnt been consisteny for quite some time.

I've noticed this after sorting through a ton of used Light Bluish Gray.
I usually only part out new sets and I didn't notice the variations. I
use "daylight" bulbs to help tell the difference in classic Gray and new Gray.
I like using the variations in some builds; it looks more realistic.

Early on I ran across a light bluish gray that was so "very light" that it almost
looked like light bluish gray marbled with trans-clear. Minus the marbling part
if that makes sense. Almost a trans-light bluish gray, but more opaque than trans
colors.

It looked so off, that my naive self assumed it was a fake (despite saying lego
on the stud) so I tossed it in the bin of other non lego and it sold with that
pile at a garage sale for $5

I wish I could have it back.
