In Catalog, Leftoverbricks writes:
Very nice that have the option to change all dimensions on a single page: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogReq.asp?itemType=S

In my opinion, following the logic for instructions entries were we have width
x height x thicknes
s the dimensions for flat boxes should also follow the
same logic and I would therefore suggest to make this: width x height x thickness
(of the flattened box).

Depth?

I have moved this message to another topic since there was nothing here that
a Catalog Admin can do.

Here is the help page for measuring boxes:

https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2510#EmptyBoxes

The help page refers to "thickness" of the flattened box, so I agree that it
should be changed on the form.

Cheers,
Randy

  This is regarding

and

Part No: 68888 Name: Technic, Axle Connector Hub with 4 Bars and Through Axle Hole
*
68888 Technic, Axle Connector Hub with 4 Bars and Through Axle Hole
Parts: Technic, Connector
which both refer to the other part
as "This Item is similar in mold type to the following Item(s)".

But 48723 has an anti-stud (which btw is not a "Pin Hole") and therefore has
a slightly thicker central part. You can see it on the diff pictures (even on
the part pictures themselves) that their heights are different.

Can we change this? Otherwise sellers are going to sell either parts under either
part ids...

Thanks!

Since there is nothing to change here, and the catalog is correct as is, this
request has been marked as "Already Exists".

Cheers,
Randy

It is the only Elves bat that looks like this, so I do not believe a note is
necessary. Another image is all that is needed if you feel that it does not represent
the colors appropriately.

It is the standard LEGO image, so it is probably a render. If you would like
to submit another image, please do so. When taking the image, please make sure
that the part is placed against a white background.

18671 Bracket 3 x 2 x 1 1/3
Parts: Bracket {Dark Bluish Gray}

Confirmed that on Lego.com Bricks and Pieces.

I have looked into this with some help from a good friend, and it looks like
the mold has been updated and is functionally different. The bottom tube was
replaced with a stud holder and clutch power was increased on the bottom surfaces.

Therefore, the new version will need to get a new catalog entry.

Cheers,
Randy

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

In the image, they look like Trans-Purple with a lot of light behind them. And
in real life, they are definitely Trans-Purple.

One of them uses stickers from transparent sticker sheets and only has printed

have printed silver lines and printed dark blue in between all of them.

Therefore, they will not be merged.

I will try to update the names a little better, though.

  Hi,

I have been on the Brinklink inventory list for the above set, Tracked crane.
One of the parts is the string that lifts the crane that goes on a spool. On
the inventory it says that the piece is x77ac100 string cord thin 100cm whilst
on the brickset site the inventory says its x77ac50 string cord thin 50cm and
the link goes to Brinklink to buy page.

Can anyone confirm which cord I need to buy (50cm or 100cm) to complete my
set.

Thanks for reading and/or answering

Legomop

The inventory on BrickLink was compiled from a sealed set and verified by at
least one other user from a sealed set. BrickLink has the most accurate LEGO
inventories anywhere.

The data on Brickset is retrieved from the LEGO replacement parts service, and
is very often incomplete or wrong.

And, when in doubt, you can always look for photos of a sealed set being opened.
Here's one for fun:

https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5757004

Notice the measurement on the cardboard sleeve for the string.

It's this one:

Comments from Submitter:
This is correct assembly per instructions.

This is not a minifigure entry, so it does not follow the guidelines for minfigures.
It is just an entry for an animal assembly, and as such, it is correct as is.

So far I only encountered part 53451 made out of a softer material that easily
gets nicks and marks.
Recently I got hands on a part with the same mold but made out of standard Lego
piece plastic.
Obviously, no brand imprint or part number are present on the piece.
So my question is if anyone can confirm or deny that my part is an actual Lego
piece.
Thanks

The original ones from the Vikings theme were made of hard ABS like all other
LEGO parts. They were changed to the softer plastic shortly after.

  Hey all,

Just wanted to point out that what is listed as Part 50018g
is actually two parts

Please post a comparison photo showing the differences.

OK - I put this together, and also took some photos of the other pieces that
come in the same bag, which I will attach in replies to this post.

I'm not quite sure which pieces match a couple of the descriptions, but I'll
let someone else figure that out.

Has there been any further discussion among catalog admins about this? I see
a note was added that the part appears in left and right variants, however, this
isn't really what a variant should be. Variants appear randomly and unpredictably
but with part 50018 each and every bag has distinct left and right parts that
are deliberately placed there by LEGO.

I would like to be able to sell this part without having to create two separate
lots for left and right.

Part No: 50018g Name: Minifigure, Weapon Circular Saw
*
50018g Minifigure, Weapon Circular Saw
Parts: Minifigure, Weapon

We separated the left and right versions of these

Part No: 65726cL Name: Slime, Blaster Long with Bar Handle Left
*
65726cL Slime, Blaster Long with Bar Handle Left
Parts: Energy Effect

Part No: 65726cR Name: Slime, Blaster Long with Bar Handle Right
*
65726cR Slime, Blaster Long with Bar Handle Right
Parts: Energy Effect
that come in a multipack, so we can definitely separate the left and right versions
of those, also, if you would submit the entries and relevant images.

The new item numbers would be 50018gL and 50018gR.

Cheers,
Randy

Pick any two minifigs heads in the catalog and there is a good chance the same
person submitted them.

I guess if you have submitted hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of them, you
may forget if you had already submitted one before.

Although this would be better served by a tag, I have decided to add it to the
name for convenience. We may never have a tag system, so this is the best we
have.

I have also decided to only change this one part instead of standardize all wedges
as having a curve or not. I do not see the time required for such a task to be
worth the effort.

Please create a "Sales Tax / VAT" topic so that I can filter all of those discussions
out of my forum feed.

Thanks,

Because no one ever wondered why it didn't include the word curved?

Would you like it to include the word "curved"?

Can I possibly be the first to wonder this? I doubt it. Anyway, change request
made.

After further investigation, there are only a few wedges that use the term "curved".
There are way more wedges that are curved that do not use the word "curved".

In my opinion, the term should only be used to differentiate a "non-curved" version
of a wedge from a "curved" version when the wedges have the exact same dimensions,
such as

Part No: 43713 Name: Wedge 6 x 4 Triple Inverted Curved
*
43713 Wedge 6 x 4 Triple Inverted Curved
Parts: Wedge
and

Part No: 4856b Name: Wedge 6 x 4 Triple Inverted with Connections between 4 Studs
*
4856b Wedge 6 x 4 Triple Inverted with Connections between 4 Studs
Parts: Wedge

Otherwise, a lot of other wedges should be renamed to be consistent. In fact,
to make the names consistent in either direction is going to create a good bit
of work due to all of the decorated versions of either set of parts needing to
be renamed (seven alone for the 11291 parts).

I will discuss this further with the team and we will decide on a direction to
go in.

Cheers,
Randy

It appears that these are the finalists for crowdfunding:

1) Castle in the forest
2) Great fishing boat
3) Sheriff's Safe
4) Pursuit of flight
5) Kakapo

And they may all be sold out in the first 24 hours.

The power switches look dark gray / dark bluish gray.

In Inventories Requests, normann1974 writes:
What do you judge the power switch color for these three parts to be? Two are
from set

Set No: 7894 Name: Airport
*
7894-1 (Inv) Airport
675 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 2006
Sets: Town: City: Airport
, one is from

Set No: 7047 Name: Coast Watch HQ
*
7047-1 (Inv) Coast Watch HQ
346 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2003
Sets: Town: World City: Coast Guard
, but I mixed them up before noticing
that set 7047 has "no power switch" in its inventory and it needs correction.

Two of these have clearly darker green and thicker black lines than the third,
so different third one might be from 7047.

70321stk01 Sticker Sheet for Set 70321 - (25470/6139808)
Parts: Sticker Sheet

Also I want to add this and the other sticker sheet to the catalog. The other
is the international or NA version of 60131stk01 but I don't have the box,
is there a way to tell which it is? I don't want to enter wrong info in the
catalog and won't know how to list them.
thanks

For now, you can just submit them like any other sticker sheet. Don't worry
about where they are from. I think we may be removing the NA and International
monikers from all of the sticker sheets at some point anyways because the numbers
are all unique and don't need additional descriptors.

Cheers,
Randy

Yep.

Once again, it shows that LEGO does not know how to manage their IT infrastructure
to handle roll-outs of in demand items. Will they ever learn?

“There were so many buyers, the site went down!  It’s the ultimate proof of a
great success!”

And with being able to buy five at once, you don't even need that many buyers.

In any case, I don't personally care about the program or want any of the
sets. I was just mad that I was trying to get work done here and the site was
unreachable.

Please add the color, "Titanium Metallic," as shown in the forum below and on

There is a definite difference in these colors.

https://brickset.com/parts/colour-Titanium-Metallic

This color is called Pearl Dark Gray on Bricklink. It is even named as such on
the Brickset site.

There is a huge color difference....sorry for wrong link please see my other
post here: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1203068

As stated back then, this is on the Catalog Roadmap already and will possibly
be looked at in the future. For now, there are no current plans to adopt two
colors for Pearl Dark Gray (although I myself would like to see it eventually
done).

Cheers,
Randy
