It would so much improve the searching/buying experience if the seller's
location (under the 'More options' drop-down) could be saved as a default
preference. It really bugs me to have to change it with each part I'm costing.
Anyone else agree?

Unless I'm overlooking a setting, in which case, please illuminate me

Can I make an inventory of my parts on bricklink and keep it and print it for
my reference?

If not do you have a link to one that works well.

Gary

Other options are Rebrickable.com or the Brickstock program.

There should be a way to put your inventory into BrickLink without being a seller
so that it’s easier to part out sets for wanted lists

If I’m missing something please direct me to the page

It's possible to part out a set into a Wantlist without being a seller.

You can upgrade your account to seller without opening the store.
Or keep track of your personal inventory on Rebrickable.com.

  Hi,

with over 100 Wanted Lists, I would like the chance to organize my Wanted Lists.
Perhaps something like superlists or categories, for instance;

- active (buying)
- save for later

Or the possibility to name them yourself

This is already possible.

Just my 2 cents.

Reach out if you want to discuss this more

PS! Keep up the good work

Kind Regards, Pål R

Ok so you guys have more experience of this than me so I'm going to take
your word that the tile is dark red. My issue then is what does Dark red look
like to Reddish Brown and what does reddish brown look like to Brown. All the
parts I sell are used parts so its likely a lot of brown could exist so going
on that basis I was assuming everything with a reddish tint was reddish brown
and I don't have any dark red, if I'm incorrect on this then I have a
major inventory reshuffle to do.

  Hi,

So I'd like someone to have a look at this and see if I am going mad please.
Have a look at the first picture without looking at the second you will see both
parts stuck together look identical in colour. Both are brown. Now look at the
second picture the same part Plate 1x1 with the design on that side of it is
listed only as reddish brown and never as brown. Should this not be listed as
brown?

Kind regards

Barry

The 2x2 tile looks like dark red to me and the plates reddish brown when next
to it.

Do you actually have any old brown bricks/plates to put the "others"?

TBF the plates do look brown in the first two photos. But lighting and images
can make something look very different.

are they? when a couple scam reported posts are still up most of the day after

Thank you for reporting.
There were two scam posts reported around 5 at night, in my timezone.
Both were canceled immediately after I woke up. 😉

figured it was you that removed them, in fact feels like you are the only moderator
working.

You can be assured that all active moderators are working together.

is very not user friendly.

This was suggested before.

The Problem Center is below the page. Click forum, then enter the message number.

yeah but a bit redundant when you have to go thru 3 clicks just to get tot the
report post section.

sorry make that 4 clicks before you get to the page where you give the post number
and reason.

Yes, it's a lot of clicks and copy/paste. Not easy on a mobile phone.

while a simple report post button on the post itself would make it so much easier

It would probably also lead to accidentally clicked reports.
I prefer a more visible button with two-step verification to report a message.

Actually the loading of parts shall be done manually...

I think it would be a good function for both the re-sellers and the users that
want to simply use the inventory function.

It's possible to download orders and upload the xml file to your inventory.

It would be really useful if there was an inventory system implemented for buyers
not just sellers. That way if I buy a set for parts I can simply come on here
and add those parts to my inventory and then any wish list I have containing
those parts would be updated accordingly.

You can upgrade to seller and keep your store closed.

Or keep inventory on Rebrickable.com or with Brickstock.

  Hello!

I'm finding it could be useful to be able to search my store inventory for
parts from my wanted lists, or for them to come up when I go to buy from my wanted
list. I would assume my the auto buy thing searches my store as well, but considers
the cost of the pieces. Maybe it could be improved to show parts from my store
as free for me (I have a buyer/seller account, rather than separate ones).

Thanks!
Matt

On your My Inventory page you can click in the Search option for Items in a Wantlist.

  I would really welcome a Bricklink Gift Card, e.g. for 5, 10, 20, 50 euro. Since
that would be a perfect gift for me as a AFOL Lego designer. So a gift card that
anyone can buy directly online from the main Bricklink page, without needing
a membership or login. Because the people gifting, are mostly not Lego fans themself.

Bricklink consists of thousands of stores.
Who should hold the funds for the card?

In Catalog, Admin_Russell writes:
  Hello everyone,

I have some long-awaited news for you! We have created a new Catalog Admin position
which has privileges on both sides of the system, the catalog and inventories.
This is a culmination of about 3 years of work, and we are so proud of our first
ever member to take this position, Hygrotus.

He has steadily worked his way up to this level from his years of being an outstanding
and reliable contributor, to a special class of contributor known as an Inventories
Verifier, to one year experience as an Inv Admin, and then most recently about
14 months as a Catalog Associate. We are pleased that he has stuck with the program
and now is going to forge ahead.

We are combining the two "halves" of the system for many reasons, but the main
one being efficiency. If only one admin is available on a given weekend, for
example, we can take care of contributions on both sides, which are often dependent
on each other.

We will retain the Catalog Associate and Inv Admin positions for the purpose
of training new Catalog Admins. They will be considered transitory positions.

I recently decided to add instant checkout to my store. I received my first
ever neutral feedback because I didn't include a note as requested in the
buyer's comment section. My suggestion is to add the buyer's comments
section on the sellers invoice (like it always has been on the invoice when an
invoice was requested). There is no buyer's comments section on the email
I receive notifying me that an order has been placed. In this instance, this
caused an unpleasant experience for the buyer.

In the order confirmation email under the shipping method is a 'Comments
from Buyer:' section. Below it are the items of the order.

The Comments from Buyer are also visible below the items on the orders details
page.
