This blanket does not match any known color and should just be N/A.
It has been established now that this brush does not exist in Medium Orange, and there would have been no reason for LEGO to make a part in a color that had been retired for quite some time. This was more than likely just a mistake on behalf of the person who first inventoried this set.
The bear is likely also just a mistake. The Bright Light Orange alternates were added later on and were assumed to be alternates. Other Belville sets from 2007 were also edited to remove these Medium Orange bears. No evidence exists to suggest that these ever appeared in sets as late as 2008.
Purple should not have been used to make new parts after 2003. This dress is more of a Dark Purple.
Deleting the alternates and changing the colors of the main inventory parts.

From a sealed set.
As I have an earlier copy of this set, all the parts are in light / dark gray. 'Most likely' can be removed from the comment as we have now the proof.
It does not make sense to list all alternate parts in light or dark gray here but for the three parts above it makes sense as the old variant color (light gray) is different to the new variant colors (dark bluish gray / tan).
I have also added alternates for axles. The comment can be now adjusted here as well in regard to the axles.
It could be that further inventory chaneg requests will follow - still checking the content.

I'm not clear how it will work to have a group of pieces all alternates on a match ID with no regulars, but I am guessing that at part out it would break them out together in groups at the end. It would make it easier to part the set out.

I have opened quite a few of this set the past few years and not paid enough attention to precision because I expected to find chaos in the box and chaos I found. But I think it would be well to tighten up the inventory a little. I'm going to start with the main section because it can be done now and I'll see how long it takes to fix the variants.
1) The box says you get 6 red and blue 3003 and then 8 trans- 3003. Since that isn't documented in the inventory I am guessing that has rarely or ever been found, but I would argue that setting up this way to match the parts list is preferable.
2) The box I opened today didn't have yellow 3005pe1 and that has happened to me before. I didn't pay attention to how, but I did today. I have so far just opened and documented the plain bags and instead of that piece I had 2 yellow 4070. That pieces is in the extras section, but I'm moving it to the alternates section.

I have bought 8 boxed copies of this set from all countries to complete 6 variations of boxes with all inner trays. Have got many complete/incomplete copies.
This set comes with at least three variations of connectors but I never a wire of that length in my entire collection. The reason is that that these connectors only come with service pack 1104.
By the way, 14-cm length is too short for the alternate model of this train.
I will add the other wire- connector assembly to the catalog in future.

This set appears to have also been released with animals with both black eyes and detailed eyes and chickens with green bases. Once again, I was able to find listings for both these versions and the cows are absolutely Red Orange. Will attach photos in another post.

This is the non-US version of this set, also sold under set number 2650-1 in the US. I will attach a photo of a listing of this set that I found online, it is from a UK seller.
Note: There seems to be an inconsistency issue with these cows on Bricklink. Not only are some of these cows under 'Rust' but a number of these are under 'Dark Orange', which was not around until 1994. I have suggested moving many of these cows from the 70s and 80s to 'Rust' as a way to circumvent having to create a new color on Bricklink for TLG 13 Red Orange. After all, if some cows are already under BL Rust, then why not move the rest over?

I cannot find any evidence that this part exists in Medium Orange, and new parts certainly were not being made in a retired color as late as 2006. Will attach a photo of this set with a Bright Light Orange fence in another post.

Sorry, this totally went past me. I even took pictures that need to be moved. My records say I bought the "medium orange" x7 from my inventory. I can only find a light orange one, but that doesn't mean anything because I also bought the light orange one from 3149. But the 6860 from 3144 is still in inventory and it is actually light orange. And I have a gallery of opening pics where you can see that the 6860 and x7 are the same color. Probably neither of these parts exist in Medium Orange.
