It took me a while but I misunderstood the purpose of this post at first. I
had originally thought that it was to arrange a trade for a rare brick for possibly
another rare brick. You know, 3 or 4 messages to establish the trade. Then
the trade happening via bricklink Private messages because, why would anyone
one else be interested in the details of one person's trade?

However, as I stated, I was wrong. This thread was meant to be a long, rambling,
time consuming library of Australian slang and possibly insults(I don't truthfully
know as I don't have the Australian to American translator to hand).

Looks like Devil.R is not alone¹: they answer multiple times to the same messages
and they keep answering to themselves.

(¹That expression may have a figurative colloquial meaning, at least it has one
in French, but I’m not implying that. IOW, if you think I’m saying something
demeaming, honi soit qui mal y pense )

That thread could be a bit more sufferable if other people² (whose answers trigger
my reading: I’m an optimist and always hope for something useful to be said)
would correctly cut the quotes, and eventually decide if they want to top-post
or bottom-post.

(²Regulars should lead by example.)

Shoot yeah! Let's make this thread a record breaker of waste. See you all
here again and soon and often

Someone’s waste is someone else’s treasure. Well, sometimes

Comments from Submitter:
It have to be item no. bar102 instead wrong 6288c01. This can see on the picture of instruction. Otherwise, the length of the brick is not enough.

Nice catch! You are correct. Request accepted.

that I have but says that it should be pearl dark grey. Set 8593-1 shows the
same part as supposed to be pearl dark grey but shows a different coloration
from the one I have. Does anyone know if this is just a different color and should
be added to the system? Or do the pearl dark grey ones always look like more
of a greenish color(like in the picture for set 8811-1).

If the part is [old] Pearl Dark Gray, it should look like the color of the part
listed as LEGO color 148 Dark Grey Metallic in that image.

I apologize. You are right. Every transaction has a right to be discussed in
the forums and not via private messages, errr, I mean your PMS. We are all in
your circus and are your Monkeys

Note that private trades, as in: trades outside the Bricklink order system, are
not allowed, and are therefore not allowed to be discussed at all - whether in
the forum or in private messages. That would be fee avoidance. That's why
Maxx is asking for it to go via Bricklink order.

On the other hand, this isn't a transaction that involves money, and I'm
not entirely sure what the policy is on that.

I will buy his listed items, he will pay fees, and we both hope the postman isn't
having a bad day?

A remark of this kind would worry me a bit.

I would send any client six pictures, before end-sale.
They would also receive the tracking number on that day.
Geez.

I'm not as discouraged as you're trying to make me.
If anything, this reflecting poorly on yourself.

I'm nothing but honest and upfront. I have provided multiple pictues for
any potential buyer - I am unsusceptible to bullying.

Admin should look into your behaviour?

If anything they'd be more concerned about some posting over 30 replies to
a single topic. The whole forum is flooded with your topic now, the others have
mostly disappeared at this point. A simple trade like this really shouldn't
take such massive amounts of messages...

I like to respond to every complainant personally, which I've done.
I don't see a single problem?
I haven't attended to this post in over thirty six hours.
Gee wizz.

I'm nothing but personable and accomodating, provided pictures and comments
to every single respondant - most of which have been nothing but positive.

I'm still not discouraged.

Bricklink can evaluate this entire thing however they want.
I still love a Bricklink.

Apparently.

And another seven messages - you don't get it yet so I will repeat my advice
again: Please use fewer messages for more content. It saves people time reading
these posts and it makes it much easier to navigate the forum. Thanks in advance.

There is no other content, and if anything I'm adding to interest (minimalising
my content within one single post).
All of my messages are regarding high content/valued members.

Don't discount any of my other posts, I do think they are equally valued

Sets: Space: Life on Mars

* Add 1 Part 23229pack (Not Applicable) Rubber Band Extra Small (Square Cross Section), 7 in Bag (Multipack) (Counterpart)

Comments from Submitter:
From 5 MISB sets.

This item does not fit the definition of a Counterpart, so it will not be added
to the inventory as a Counterpart.

I then need to determine if it should be added to the inventory at all. The official
part count for the set is 466 pieces, and the current inventory contains 466
pieces. Therefore, LEGO did not count this "multipack" of rubber bands as a single
part like modern multipacks and counted the two rubber bands needed for the build
as Regular Items. The other five would then be considered Extra Items as they
are currently listed in the inventory.

In conclusion, I see no reason to add this part to the inventory, and this request
will not be accepted.

Cheers,
Randy

I didn't think clear bags of parts with a PCC were being added to the catalog.
There are a lot of those in Belville/Scala.

23229 is a part number and not a PCC.

Part No: x151 Name: Rubber Band Extra Small (Square Cross Section)
*
x151 Rubber Band Extra Small (Square Cross Section)
Parts: Rubber Band & Belt

See the alternate item number for that part.

In this case, the plastic bag is just identifying the part number and nothing
more. I don't see this new item as a true multipack.

It may be hard to understand for you - but I am more than keen to trade with
the initial respondant, if he is willing. I have the bricks necessary for trade.
Surely it's not that hard to understand?

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)?

Btw, we were discussing this 2 hours ago on here and one of us is new to the
site.....

Relax and the symptons will subside.

Maxx

Nah, I understand what the Devil means.

Don’t take the bait, relax, you are new here and people are reacting to that.

Admin should look into your behaviour?

Nah, just don’t feed them by reacting to every fart.

I do need to pop-off.
That is not my be all and end all?

You should recognise atleast four of them!
If they're not my exs most valued bricks, I'll crack it!

Yep...F1-F4. Amazing/spectacular.
He cannot thank you enough apparently.
I still don't get it exactly, but I also do not mind.

Ya bloody twit!

I could not be having a bad day.
How about yourself? I'm more than interested ..

You're right - life's a chore in both here and work, but I could never
consider you anything but friend. I consider that one good thing.
What do you do to appriesque your affliction?

No - apparently Michel Firnhaber is on top of the list?
Due to price and/or availability at that particular point in time - but that
was only by chance

Michel, Bendix, Stuart9. Never done a deal with Maxx - but he may infact jump
straight to number one spot
No one will mind

Nah, I understand what the Devil means.

If they're not my exs most valued bricks, I'll crack it!

See ya 'round, like a rissole

Don't discount any of my other posts, I do think they are equally valued

All of those bricks belong to my ex- boyfriend/baby daddy. He is a total sook!
And can't be bothered with this business. I do still believe he deserves
one single amazing green/trans green brick. He's not that bad!

There are no rules!

7316-1 (Inv) Excavation Searcher
452 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2001

Nah, I understand what the Devil means.

Don’t take the bait, relax, you are new here and people are reacting to that.

Admin should look into your behaviour?

Nah, just don’t feed them by reacting to every fart.

Isn't that the responsible thing to do?

Haha.

Are you some kinda savant!

Don't mention a Woutr or Stuart9.
Fully skizza spec!
Let's not involve ourselves in that business

Btw, we were discussing this 2 hours ago on here and one of us is new to the

Relax and the symptons will subside.

In Inventories Requests, Give.Me.A.Brick writes:
Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 7316 Name: Excavation Searcher
*
7316-1 (Inv) Excavation Searcher
452 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2001

Cheers,
Randy

mostly disappeared at this point. A simple trade like this really shouldn't
take such massive amounts of messages..

Wish I would have thunk of that.

Apparently.

Nice attitude. You have probably alienated many people that might have traded
with you with the constant posts about it. If you have a trade or swap value
in mind you should just tell people what that is.

You're weak.

I apologise to you personally.
And - I mean that.
Take that however you will.

All 2x4 bricks are common - some less than others.
They're not diamonds, although I do also think that this market may be controlled
as such.
Pffft to you.

I know what I got for the last brick I sold to a local buyer!
Somehow I want more for my last one.
It would assist 3001 collectors more than any other brick?

It looks like this is going to be the work of the devil.
Just mention your price and look if a collector is interested.
Stop playing the devil like this.

I know this brick is rare!

Rare is a weird word, most 2x4 collectors I know have one, do we need more than
one?
I had some rare bricks 3 years ago, now they are mainstream.....

I don't want to be an advocate, but it seems to be inherant?

You are just finding out what this brick might be worth and that is a tough question
to answer.
It is more rare than trans green, I only priced it so high because no one has
one in their store.

All I want do here, is have one fair trade!

No problem, you can ask around, I try and be as fair as I can, if we do not end
up trading, no problem

I would estimate a flat silver 2x4 brick is about €50 to €70, but as with all
rare items, it only takes one buyer to get you €100.

Now, would I pay €50 for this brick, no, I own one and that is enough.
Would I trade for one, sure, I like having as many as possible different colors
of 2x4 in my shop

No-one else can provide you with as many colours as myself?

Have a look at that thick-walles trans red!
That is mothing but pink - even in this light!

I have one only for sale and/or trade.

So how rare is it then? I am curious as there doesn’t seem to be any up for sale
so no idea on what price these would be?

If you know what you want for it then open a store, list at the price you want
for it and wait for someone to buy it.

Rack off. You're far below my spectrum
