| Would it be possible to have a number pop up on the my store button when an order
comes in like it does for a message on my bl? I send a lot of time on bricklink,
but not a lot of time checking emails so I would be good to see I have an order.

I went into the preview and made a shipping method with no cost, and made a note
for people only buying digital instructions to use it. It would be better if
we could designate certain items to only use certain shipping methods. You can
go see what I did by going to my store in the preview site and buying instructions.

select it if they buy items that need to be shipped. I just checked your store
and it was the first listed and automatically selected shipping method. So buyers
will easily accidentally select it if they're not paying attention and just
quickly want to check out.

Thank you both for the input. That is exactly the point of my suggestion. I feel
that BL team needs to create a an electronic shipping option that won't allow
physical items to be checked out. In addition, the electronic items need to be
differentiated from physical items, either via a new category or weight. Currently
weight of zero grams is not allowed.

| A major flaw with the new Part Out feature of the Wanted List is that the order
of the parts displayed is not adjustable. I usually sort by colour rather than
what ever order it currently uses.

I know what you mean OP. From where I sit, there is no option for "condition,
then number". For myself I would love "condition, remarks, number" .

We do it using sort by remarks. Remarks are used for stock locations for each
part. For us used parts get alpha locations, new get numerical. Our picking list
(order) is sorted by used 1st in order of location then new in order of location.
We follow that with our picking cart and picking an order is just one lap of
the storage locations. You can store any part anywhere in the system (except
used have to go in used locations, new in new locations but that is good practice
to avoid crossover anyway).

Certainly not a bad suggestion, but the Dacta/Education sets were changed with
such regularity that creating new sets in the BrickLink catalog for every variation
doesn't strike me as the most efficient approach. In the case of this set,
the only part changes appear to involve 4 pieces (two of which are easily handled
by listing them as alternates).
I have added new sets in the past in extreme cases such as this one which would
have included 100+ alternates:
I don't believe that the minor differences for 9256 justify an additional
listing, but I'm not sure how the two new parts would be added (they're
not alternates, counterparts, etc.). So I'm waiting to hear from the inventory
administrator.

Just found this picture of original set which Admin used for inventory (reported
to be from 1991). Notice that red/blue 4744 bricks do not appear to be present
- not sure how you want to handle their later inclusion.

I suggest that you cancel the change request.
And instead that Inventory Admin do this:
1) Swap the current picture for 9256-1 with the old one that you found.
2) Change the release year to 1991 for that set.
3) Create a 9256-2 and add those changes you requested in to that one, with the
current picture. And set the year to 1996 for it.

This is a big mistake of Lego.
On the box, you see that the sword is a 30173b, but when you open the box there are only two 21459.
I parted out around 15 boxes of 41002 for some months ago. I just got problems with people who ordered some 30173b from my store, but I couldn't give them what they wanted, because I just had sword 21459!
I had another box of 41002, I had to check if Lego did a mistake... And they did!! I have some pictures where you see that the swords into the bags are different from the pictures on the box!
I didn't make it to change those pieces, just do it for me. I can send some pictures if you need them! Take contact at felers@hotmail.com

BTW, original version of set almost certainly released prior to 1996. I changed
YOR from 2000 to 1996 because I found the set in a catalog from '96, but
I'm thinking the original version was released in the early 90s when the
finger puppets were still in sets. Based on my incomplete catalog collection,
I would say '91 or '92 is the correct YOR.

| Another reason that this is important is that many online order/shipping management
programs sync with Stripe Relay and not just payments processed through Stripe.
This means that orders paid for with Stripe have to have shipping labels created
manually.

| With instant checkout coming in the near future, please upgrade the Stripe integration
to perform validation checks between the buyer address and the credit card records.
Also upgrade Stripe so that API is used versus only submitting the user name.

| I'll pile on, as well...
We appreciate all of the hard work on the new design, but there is certain functionality
that is lacking, or at least less obvious. I always start with the new design,
but find myself going back to the Classic view every time.
Quick example: in the Classic view, if I added part #61190d to my WL, and wanted
to change it to 61190e (or change from one color to another), I could do that
easily by editing the record itself. In the new version, I don't see a way
other than to add the new item and remove the old. Is it that a big deal? No,
but it's indicative.
Please keep the classic view!

| Now that everything minifigure is dual sided, the pictures have effectively halved
in size. Also, the description on the page is large, and picture small (in a
store).
Ebay has gone to bigger pictures (free) which tends to prove they work. Can
we allocate more space to pictures?

4276a (2 finger solid stud): 1x blue and 2x light gray §§§
4275 (3 finger hollow stud): 4x blue §§§
4275a (3 finger solid stud): 3x blue §§§
They all belong to the three sets 6844 (1983), 6928 (1984), 6872 (1985) and 6055 (1985). §§§
The two light gray 4276a are from set 6928, therefore two of the blue 4275a must also be from this set.
This means that the one 4275a and one 4276a that are left must be from set 6844 which only has one of each (the other two sets left have two each).
This means that the 4 blue 4275 and 4 blue 4276 left must be from sets 6872 and 6055. §§§
This reasoning also aligns with the fact that sets 6844 and 6928 are the two oldest sets and therefore ought to have the solid stud versions. §§§
This means I need to add alternate parts to the later sets (6872 and 6055). This is one of them. I'm not sure that BL will allow me to post line breaks in this message, so I've used §§§ to indicate where lines end.
