How can I integrate my bricklink store into a merchandise management system?
(Mac; iOS)
Which shop system does bricklink use?
I would like to be able to check my stocks more easily and to place a repeat
order if the quantity falls below the minimum.

Thanks for helpful tips!

my recent activity - like an activity log of pieces I've added to my store?
I figured out I can see the newest pieces I've added from my store page,
but that's only for pieces that are totally new to my store - what about
pieces that I already had & I only adjusted the quantity??

It could be convenient to have this on BrickLink but as of right now, you may
use BrickStoRE, free and open-source, save locally your shop contents
every time you wish, save what you upload or even update.

There's also subtraction tool that can help, etc.

Thanks for the tip!

It's likely that the plastic mixture either didn't separate cleanly from
the mold during a previous color run, or there were residual particles of white
plastic pellets in the injection molding machine when it was made. This is normal,
and not something to worry about.

Cheers ...

Thank you. Should I mention this while putting the part in my store?

For future reference: The plural of LEGO is LEGO. I don't know where people
get the idea that it needs an 's', just putting that out there for reference.
The word 'LEGO' is always capitalized.

This is what TLG state on their official site. I would prefer it if everyone
posting on this site followed proper and official naming conventions when referring
to LEGO branded products.

If you want to follow the official line according to the company, the plural
of LEGO is not LEGO, as it has no plural. It is an adjective.

As for LEGO always being capitalised ... it wasn't always that way.

At first glance, I would guess it was a clone brand & not LEGO; the colors look
a little off, it's really shiny (which is typical of clone plastics),
and I do not believe that torso or leg parts were made by LEGO... as has been
asked, do you see the LEGO logo on the neck top or legs? It doesn't necessarily
mean they are LEGO-printed (as custom printing can be done on authentic LEGO
parts), but if there is no logo, that's a dead give-away that their clone
brands right there...

Thanks guys, I just wanted to be sure. There is no Lego branding on it at all.
It's a shame. It's a nice looking minifig. I found it in a 30lb box
of Legos I purchased online.

As to the minifig, if there is no LEGO trademark molded into the plastic, it's
very likely to be a clone brand. That would be an otherwise nice minifig, I suggest
you drop it off to a charity donation bin or your nearest recycling center, if
they can recycle plastic toys.

Cheers ...

I concur with the "LEGO" sentiment, and I try hard to inform others by
only using "LEGO" as intended... oh, & I have a *very* special bin

Thanks again for the help. As for as the LEGO Legos debate. I know that LEGO
plural is LEGO. I was just asking a question and wasn't thinking about grammar.
I'm sure I'm not the only person to make that mistake and I won't
be the last. As far as using the LEGO brand name correctly, I ALWAYS use the
correct form with the trademark symbol in all caps on all my listings outside
of Bricklink. I also put a disclaimer below on all my listings.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize
or endorse this site.

Thanks again for the help.

Well, if you are going to be the LEGO grammar police, it is not a "minifig".
It is a "minifigure".

It's an uphill battle, but not impossible. Even people that use "Kleenex"
as a noun don't say "Kleenexes", so there is hope for "LEGO"
as well. If you want to think of "LEGO" as a noun, it's a collective
noun, like "sheep." You can have one sheep or 5 sheep but you don't
have 5 sheeps. (unless you're a 3 year old.)

Another way to explain it to people is that "LEGO", as a brand trademark,
is not actually a noun. If you use it in a sentence, it's an adjective. As
in "LEGO brick" or "LEGO bricks."

"Heavy" is an adjective, like "LEGO." If you have a box that
weighs a lot, you'd say "that's a heavy box." If you have more
than one box you'd say "heavy boxes", not "heavies box."
Same for LEGO - LEGO brick or LEGO bricks, not LEGOS brick.

The more you know! (insert star swipe and jingle here.)

The pale washed out colour of the flesh doesn't look right either but that
could be the photo. Another sign is the heavy seam lines in the hands.

Are there LEGO logos on the top of the neck, and in between the studs on the
legs? What does the top of the head look like?

No, that is why I asked.

Are there LEGO logos on the top of the neck, and in between the studs on the
legs? What does the top of the head look like?

Hi. I have been getting part 4175 in black from some 1970s/1980s lots and they
have tiny white speckles in the color dye. I have washed them and it won't
come off. Any thoughts of why they come like this? Anyone else have some? Sorry
I cannot get a close up picture.

Thank you

good thing Lego sets & Gear are not sold abroad.. i mean imagine the chaos that

i am fairly sure no one actually cares about a half of a sticker stuck to a random

the torn in half sticker could be from either set, the brick is random, & still
.. sticker books do not come with bricks....

It could be convenient to have this on BrickLink but as of right now, you may
use BrickStoRE, free and open-source, save locally your shop contents
every time you wish, save what you upload or even update.

There's also subtraction tool that can help, etc.

Agreed! Here's an excerpt from his shipping policy:

"I am not responsible for the lost uninsured packages - If you choose shipping
without insurance it is always at your own risk"

"I am not responsible for the shipping time once the parcel/letter has been
handed over to the shipping company - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shipping
time can be longer than normal".

If the seller is denying any responsibility then stop communicating and deal
with it through PayPal, as they will have made promises to you.

This is not what I think the OP was asking. What I believe they are asking for
is an inventory audit log, which I think a lot of sellers would appreciate. Therefore,
it is not available. IIRC, there is/was a suggestion for a full inventory audit
trail, but obviously it has not been implemented.

Yes, you nailed it! Here's hoping enough of us speak up!! Right now the only
solution I can think of would be to create a separate spreadsheet first then
upload that to Bricklink, but it kinda seems like a pain in the ass to reinvent
the wheel when Bricklink has a good system with the tools built in...except for
this! Unless there is easy access to a spreadsheet designed for this floating
around the community somewhere? Any heroes out there??

oh i know what you are talking about, there has been many stores i clicked on
only to have maybe a handful of bricks you need. i have been putting certain
sellers on a favorite list when i come across them that has more than average
of what i am hunting for. but all in all that probably would require a ton of
re-coding the website, i guess that is what the auto select feature is meant
for. maybe someone else is better to answer it. i just know the struggle to find
stores lol

Just to be clear, that's not my policy, that's the store you bought from.

As noted by others, things are pretty much back to normal (Most of my buyers
are impressed with the packaging and shipment times), but sometimes my local
post office over corrects and they're picking up at the house before noon
when 3-5 was the norm and at its worst was as late as 10PM or it just didn't
show up. So I still have to take things to package drop off in the lobby.

... Ssssooooo... If it's seller responsibility should the seller foot the
bill for mandatory insurance?

Depends on your risk management strategy. I charge insurance on orders over
$50, I will replace or refund all orders lost, and we have decided that we can
handle the occasional $50 or less "loss."

We have an order out right now that appears to be lost that has 10 rare items.
So, I just took another 10 out of my inventory as insurance for the buyer in
case it is indeed lost, it will be a minor hit, but the customer service, in
my mind, is worth it.

I believe that Bricklink should null and void all of the "I am not responsible
for your order once I hand it off to the shipper" nonsense. IMO, this only
encourages bad selling practices and unhappy customers.

If you are a seller, you are bound by the same contract that your buyer is agreeing
to upon submission of their order.

Agreed! Here's an excerpt from his shipping policy:

  Hello!
A few months ago, a placed an order from a highly rated Danish seller. The order
amounted to 434.69 DKK (roughly $62.82 USD), and was shipped February 20th. It's
been over three months and the order is nowhere to be seen (tracking was not
included on the order), and the seller and I both agree that the item was likely
lost or stolen. The seller sent photographic proof that he wrote my mailing address
correctly, so none of this is his fault.
We're considering a 50% refund as the fairest option, but I'm curious
about what you all think.
Thanks!
- Lucas

Was the shipping a priority service, for example, air, or was it sent by some
economical shipping service, for example, surface or economy air?

Definitely ensure both you and the seller check the shipping agencies responsible
for handling the parcel in both countries. Both you and the seller should also
check with the Customs agency in the respective country, perhaps it was delayed
there?

Sometimes packages show up late because they went to an unexpected destination.
You might still get your package, although as you state, there is a large possibility
it was lost or stolen.

The package should have had a Customs form, sometimes they can track it via that
number, if you or the seller have it. In some cases they use a declaration sticker
but if it's for goods nowadays, it needs to be a properly filled out Customs
form for the relevant country.

Cheers ...

ghyde

I did some digging at this guy's shipping policy.
When ordering, it goes to "request for invoice", insurance and tracking
could not be selected when checking out. That being said, I never explicitly
asked for either of them after placing the order.

On the order form/invoice, the "shipping method" is listed as "Request
for invoice (backup method)".

Here's an excerpt from his shipping policy:
"I am not responsible for the lost uninsured packages - If you choose shipping
without insurance it is always at your own risk"
"I am not responsible for the shipping time once the parcel/letter has been
handed over to the shipping company - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shipping
time can be longer than normal"

I always prefer tracking when buying internationally; I just didn't even
know if I had the option at this store.

Sorry for the late reply - I'm blown away by the number of responses!

  I assume it this

Minifig No: sh876 Name: Nebula - Dark Blue Suit
*
sh876 (Inv) Nebula - Dark Blue Suit
Minifigures: Super Heroes: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
So it seems to be like you said with one blue and one silver arm.

Hey everyone, I recently had an order who ordered 3 minifigures from this set:
76255.
Now they have arrived and customers says that 1 of this minifigure have 1 silver
arm and 1 dark blue arm.
But how is it possible if all torsos from this set have only silver arms, could
it be LEGO fault? Or how?
And what should I do now?
Thank you in advance!

Yes it is him, thank you a lot now I understood what was wrong

  Hello everyone

I have been having problems with my Shipping options showing, when someone buys
from my store. The thing is, that when a customer goes to checkout it will show
them only the cheapest shipping option. Ive looked at all the settings, when
it comes to shipping and store settings and i just can not find what is causing
this, therefore i sent a message to Bricklink, however they have not responded
for a very long time.

Thank you ahead of time for any answer!

Dan

NO tricks Just Bricks!

Did you put al of you shipping methods in the same group?
Only the cheapest option of a group is shown.

Select group ‘none’ and al the options meeting dimension and weight requirements
should show

Thank you so much!

I thought, that the groups of the shipping methods was just an organisational
thing.

Thank you very much, big help!!!

In Technical Issues, yorbrick writes:
There is a GDPR issue if you cancel a drop shipper's order. If you cancel
and they have already changed their name and address to another customer's
details, then this is shown in the cancellation. They are giving out the name,
address and possibly the phone number of someone with no connection whatsoever
to the order.

Please report this to the help desk, moved this to Tech Issues as order details
should be the same as in the order.
