I have this in new condition boxed open with this catalog from 1981
The good news is that it comes with
It has been few years I know that the transition to
(with inner tube) happened in either 1981 or 1982. Now I am more convinced to
assume it was in 1982 since there was another set from 1981 with 3040a light
gray.
The two strings are of length 28.5cm and 29cm. So I could add either

I think this two entries should be merged since TLG never intended to produce
cords (and wires) the certain exact length.

I see what you mean but the situation is as follows:
We take 50 sets of (SET NUMBER), part it out to our inventory and store it in
bins.
All the parts that we've already had in our inventory have locations in bins.
We want to put all the same parts in the same bins for easier picking.
If we sort by part name it mostly follows our storage system but not always so
we have to run around to different parts of the warehouse to put the parts in
their correct bins. If we could sort the part out by remark, we would have them
in the correct order and it would make everything much easier.

Also I as stated at first, while in the shop it says 100/100 items available
but you don't know if there are duplicates (sometimes it would show 102/100
and even miss few items.

the store.
Besides, what would you do with that list while in the store? You need to go

Hej,
I would add them to another wanted list so I can easily find another store with
most of them. I think my idea kinda fits how bricklink works and adds another
option.
You buy page think is usefull but I can't even click the little boxed items
to buy them alone.

I'm finding it could be useful to be able to search my store inventory for
parts from my wanted lists, or for them to come up when I go to buy from my wanted
list. I would assume my the auto buy thing searches my store as well, but considers
the cost of the pieces. Maybe it could be improved to show parts from my store
as free for me (I have a buyer/seller account, rather than separate ones).

This set was first released in 1989 and was still being sold in 1993 catalogs. 1989 is about the time the mold changed on the pins, so it is definitely possible that early sets had the 4459 pins and later sets had the 2780. They would have been the thicker 2780 pins, most likely.
If you want to update the inventory you can submit 2780 as an alternate part to 4459.

| That's indeed very useful info. But your problem can be fixed: Use the Retain
option. That way empty lots stay in your inventory. This is also useful when
you turn out to have more of a part than was ordered/listed. Simply delete zero
quantity lots from your inventory once in a while (if you wish)

Which puts one in an unfavorable situation if they have misplaced a part and

| Hi all,
I recently got hold of a mixed batch of old technic sets and I've been working
to identify and separate the sets in there. Based on part counts and key parts,
it looks like there is a 8862-1 Backhoe in there with one exception. It look
like it came with 2780 pins (with slots) instead of the listed 4459 (without
slots).
Normally, I would say that the sets in the batch are are just too messed up to
be reliable but in this case, all the pieces add up, down to the last brick.
So my question is, could some variety of the 8862 have come with the 2780 pins?
If so, does the inventory need an update to indicate that?

The main head type of the M-Tron figures was the Solid Stud Head in 1990. I've never found a set with Blocked Open Stud Head figure, thereby I think the current inventory item list is misleading for collectors. Please change it to Solid Stud Head if possible.
