Having recently bought the Newbury High School and built it I am surprised to
find the dog Spencer is listed on here as Trans Clear with marbled White, when
the parts list in the inventory clearly places it in White. Should this not
be White with Marbled Trans Clear?

Similarly hs001 has a pending approval inventory in which the submitter is unsure
if the White hoodie with a Red cap should be classified as Red or White. Again
the inventory supplied with the set has this as White.

When compiling inventories should we not give greater weight to the Lego parts
list as to what colour a part is?

And yes the minifigure Jack is identical to the one in 70418-1 J.B's Ghost
Lab - hs001.

Just to add to the never-ending "identify this part" questions, it's now
been semi-officially confirmed that LEGO has created exclusive elements for the
BaM (Build a Minifgure) bins in LBR stores. I'm sure this will give more
people headaches for authenticating parts, since they will not appear in any
inventories. Looks interesting though, and I hope they keep introducing new
elements.

Hi,

Looks like this parts:

Part No: 4460a  Name: Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 - Open Stud
*
4460a Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 - Open Stud
Parts: Slope

Part No: 4460b  Name: Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 - Hollow Stud
*
4460b Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 - Hollow Stud
Parts: Slope

is taller than described as it is 4 studs high instead of 3 unless there is a
way to measure height I don't know.

Fortunately, there is no 3 studs high slope and I believe any MOCers using the
part just call it by its name and there would be no issue when building.

Strangely, part

Part No: 3684c  Name: Slope 75 2 x 2 x 3 - Solid Studs
*
3684c Slope 75 2 x 2 x 3 - Solid Studs
Parts: Slope
and all its variants looks like to be also 4 studs
high and not 3 (last pic clearly shows the same aspect ratio as 4460).
By the way 3684 is not marked for deletion yet.

Where was the issue ? "It's not you it's us" or just me ?

Thanks.

Hi All,

I'm building a database in MS Access where I want to compare my sets with
a different set to see if I can build the different set with the parts I have.

What I like to know is, is there a downloadable table with related items, so
if I don't have the original inventory item the DB will search the alternative
items to see if there is a match and give me the quantity of the alternate item?

Or is there an other way to relate the alternate item to the original inventory
item?

Thanx

So you used to be able to click on the picture of a piece in the catalog, sort
of a quick view. You'd see the years it was made, any sets/minifigures the
piece was in, etc. You all know what I'm talking about. Well, a few days
ago I couldn't do it anymore. I've tried three different devices.

Why would they make such a horrible change for? I rely on that heavily when listing
minifigure parts to make sure I have the correct listing. This is going to make
this job twice as long now.

Good evening,
I just bought a LEGO minifig with the part torso 973pb0679c01. This torso is
not associated here to none complete minifig, with just the information that
is from 1980. The minifig head in my hands have a small ring, possibly indicating
the minifig was part of a keychan. Could anyone provide me more information about
this curious item?
Best regards,
Cruz

Has anyone actually seen this part in a BAM box with the mitt attached? I have
seen multiple of them in three different stores now, and they do not have the
mitt. They have a single hand and a missing hand. You can add either a mitt or
a hand, staff don't care.

So should this be listed with a mitt, given that this is not how it is supplied?
Or at least have a note about this, as not all the torsos will have mitts.

as a child, I remember clearly it had one plate of wrong
size in it (different from the one shown in the instructions), and from my recollection
it was the plate that held the control patterned slopes (it should be a 4 x 10
plate). The plate in my set was either 2 studs too long or too short, but I don't
remember which. Unfortunately, I switched the plate to a correct one long time
ago, so I can't prove anything about this today.

Does anyone else remember something like this?

Hello,

In my sealed version of set

Set No: 156 Name: 2 Signals with Automatic Stop / Go Attachment
*
156-1 (Inv) 2 Signals with Automatic Stop / Go Attachment
6 Parts, 1968
Sets: Train: Supplemental: 4.5V
the connectors are 'Cross-cut'

Part No: 996bc01 Name: Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Cross-Cut Pin (Banana Plug)
*
996bc01 Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Cross-Cut Pin (Banana Plug)
Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector

and not 'Hollow Pin'

Part No: 996ac01 Name: Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Hollow Pin (Banana Plug)
*
996ac01 Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Hollow Pin (Banana Plug)
Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector

The current wire in inventory is this one:

Part No: 996ac15blue Name: Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with 2 Leads, 14 Studs Long with 4 Blue Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Hollow Pin (x466c14 / 996ac01)
*
996ac15blue (Inv) Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with 2 Leads, 14 Studs Long with 4 Blue Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Hollow Pin (x466c14 / 996ac01)
Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector

I know wire are on hold for now (project #15)

A) shall I create a new cross-cut connectors wire for 15 studs and modify inventory
(as alternate)?

B) I create inventory request with:

Part No: 996bc01 Name: Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Cross-Cut Pin (Banana Plug)
*
996bc01 Electric, Connector, 1-Way Male Rounded with Cross-Cut Pin (Banana Plug)
Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector
and

Part No: x466 Name: Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with two Leads, unspecified length
*
x466 Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with two Leads, unspecified length
Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector

I prefer option (A).
As every wire length for same type of connectors are going to grow or reduce
the same size depending of project #15.
For example: if wire 996ac15blue need to be adjusted +1 studs, new wire on option
(A) will also grow +1 studs

These two bricks are jujst hold together by a sticker. I thought this was against
policy here. I just noticed this when looking through new additions to the catalog.

Morning, Catalog guys I have a query for you. In regards to items attached on
the back there is no guideline in the help page (see full description below).
Could this please be defined and added. Even if there are minifigures that require
editing (I will help if needed). I just wish to prevent less work in the future
by having a clear guideline on what's included and what's not. The one
that peaked my interest is the Mr. Freeze in set 76118 (sh587).

Thanks in advance.

Tyson.

"Minifigs - The catalog should only contain minifigs that came in an official
LEGO set or that can be attributed to an official LEGO program, display, activity
or event, regardless of whether the minifig is actually publicly distributed
during or at such program, display, activity or event.
The minifig item should not include hand-held accessories or items defined as
utensils, with the exception of robot winder keys. But do include all other accessories
definable as footgear (flippers, snow shoes, etc.), neckgear (generally defined
as items requiring the removal of the head in order to be placed over the neck,
such as capes, armor, backpacks, etc.) and headgear (hair, helmets, etc.), and
assembled parts serving as such, when these are shown attached to the minifig
in official LEGO set instructions. For instructions with images showing the minifig
in a play scenario, refer only to the portion of the instructions concerned with
assembling the minifig. If no official instructions were produced, then illustrations
on packaging or other marketing materials directly related to the minifig may
be used instead for this guide purpose. (See Exceptions below.)

Minifigs decorated by a sticker may have an entry for the figure without the
sticker applied, and an entry for the figure with the sticker applied. (See Exceptions
below.)

If 2 or more minifigs that came in an official LEGO set are the same except for
different hand-held accessories, do not add another entry for a minifig with
a particular accessory. An example of this would be "Majisto the Wizard with
glow-in-the-dark wand" which should not be added in addition to an otherwise
identical "Majisto the Wizard" entry.

Exceptions:

When the use of set instructions or other official LEGO images provide poor clues
about the precise nature of accessories: For example, numbers printed on neckgear
armor worn by each figure of a series, yet nowhere is it clearly shown which
figure bears which numbered armor. In this case the figures can be added without
neckgear armor. Arbitrarily associating a particular numbered armor with the
other elements of a minifig should not be done.
When the hand held accessory is an integral physical part of the minifig: For
example, the electric light-up figs released beginning in 2005. All the parts
that make up the complete light-up device, including those not integral to its
electric function, should be included as a part of the minifig.
When there is more than one possibility presented within a set for decoration
of the minifig by sticker, a catalog entry should not be created for each variation.
This rule also applies to the Torso and Torso Assembly parts of such minifigs.
For example, some Soccer theme sets have a sticker sheet that allows the builder
to choose from various team insignias and jersey numbers for each player in the
set. If every variation were given an entry, the catalog would be overwhelmed.
The early “stiff” minifigs (1975-1977) were often built into the model and not
shown in a freestanding position. In these cases, a minifig can be considered
a unit without being prescribed as such in the instructions or box images as
long as the four basic parts are present – legs, torso, head and hat/hair."

Hi,
I could not find anything on the topic :/
Could anyone explain please why are leaflets (instructions) for each minifigure
of the series kept separately in the catalog when they seems to be all the same?

It seems especially weird, when I saw that someone bought leaflet for percival
graves for such high price:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?I=colhp-22#T=P
while it seems that this leaflet is just pretty the same as all the rest of the
leaflets from this series....

Thx in advance,
J.

I am usually a fan of dynamically posed catalog pics, but this time I just can't
tell if this piece is the same cut as a new piece that I need to get into the
catalog. Can someone tell me if the attached pic is the same shape?

Not sure if sequence number for multiple stickered assembly parts from same set
should increment the 'pb01' to 'pb02' rather than from BA76pb01
to BA77pb01. The part I'm questioning is [p=BA77pb01] and if it should actually
become [p=BA76pb02]

In the catalog I see there are a few varients of the 700e early baseplate, but
I recently ran across a couple with numbers that werent in the catolog. They
are most similar to the 700eD plates, but to have different featured like the
shape of the cross supports where they cross, and are marked '700 e H'
on the bottom.

Should The 700e H varient be added and/or does anyone know anything about this
baseplate? (sorry I'm very new here or I would attempt to add it myself)

The AFOL sets are not real LEGO sets, right?

Have they been catalogued incorrectly or are the filters not working correctly?

Right now for the Hero Factory theme, there are 3 categories (Heroes,Villains,Vehicles).

I was wondering if each release wave theme could get its own sub-category (Breakout,
Brain Attack, Invasion from below, ETC...)

I can use the catalog add/change feature, just wondering if it should be done
first.

I got two of these in a set that will need its inventory updated. But I am trying
to figure it out. The part is inventoried but it doesn’t really look playable.
I gave it a soft tug to see if it was just clutched and I don’t think it is.

Set No: col08 Name: Thespian / Actor, Series 8 (Complete Set with Stand and Accessories)
*
col08-14 (Inv) Thespian / Actor, Series 8 (Complete Set with Stand and Accessories)
2 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2012
Sets: Collectible Minifigures: Series 8 Minifigures

Is there a reason this keeps getting changed?

This set was originally listed as Actor, it was then changed to Thespian. I asked
for the Actor name to be reinstated, which it was, and then it was removed again.

The minifigure version has both names:

Minifig No: col126 Name: Thespian / Actor, Series 8 (Minifigure Only without Stand and Accessories)
*
col126 (Inv) Thespian / Actor, Series 8 (Minifigure Only without Stand and Accessories)
Minifigures: Collectible Minifigures: Series 8 Minifigures

Why can the set not keep both names?

And on their webpages, LEGO refer to it as ACTOR. If it can have only one name,
then surely it should be the LEGO one.

Hi,
I am unable to find in this catalogue the item I just bought in Billund:
5 cookie cuttters, LEGO 853890, item 6255877, EAN 673419306935.

Am I searching wrong or is this not yet listed here?

Thanks

I have downloaded the parts lists from many sources, incl blink and all seem
to include red door 73435c01 as the front door. Clearly the pictures show a need
for door 73436c01 not the one in the catalogue.
Has anyone else run into this - it has cost me 2 wrong door so far.

There's a new part I want to add to the catalog, and so far it only exists
with a printing on it. Is the proper procedure to add a sort of "placeholder"
entry for the actual new mold/part that has no printing, and then add the new
printed part that I have? I will upload a photo of the printed version I have,
but of course, cannot for the base part.

Thanks,
David

I cannot add the weight of instruction book 8307-1. (177 grams). If I go to https://www.bricklink.com/catalogReq.asp
which category should I choose?

Set | Part | Minifig | Book | Gear | Catalog

Whichever I choose it doesn't work.

How do I go about asking for these two items to be added to your catalog?

I made 2 additions to the catalog the other day (2 tiles, from https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1141099).
How long is typical for them to be approved and added? And, can I perhaps expect

Thanks,

Hi Guys.

We have a Count Dooku Clonewars figure

Minifig No: sw0224 Name: Count Dooku - Large Eyes
*
sw0224 (Inv) Count Dooku - Large Eyes
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars
on a magnet from

Gear No: 852555 Name: Magnet Set, Minifigures SW (3) - Yoda, Count Dooku, Mace Windu - with 2 x 4 Brick Bases blister pack
*
852555 (Inv) Magnet Set, Minifigures SW (3) - Yoda, Count Dooku, Mace Windu - with 2 x 4 Brick Bases blister pack
Gear: Magnet: Star Wars
It's only missing the lightsaber.

However different to the listing the minifig is permanently glued to the base
+ Torso to the Legs. Basically only Head arms and cape are removable. Is there
a plan to include these glued Magnetfigs in the catalog? Or is only the complete
set considered sellable.
Also there maybe should be added a notice to those sets in regards of being glued
or with lose minifigs.

Regards

Christian

I was wondering if anyone has attempted/managed to separate the joined sub-components
that make up this assembly. As far as I can tell on mine, doing this would cause
damage. I'm curious to know what the 'rivet-like' pins on the bottom
look like separated and whether they could serve another useful purpose on their
own. I would hazard a guess that it is stud diameter for a length of one plate-thickness
with a bar-size (or similar) hole in the center on the inside.

I presume there is no LEGO-published part number for the pin alone.

Can I ask what proof is required to submit the rectangular version of the 3062oldtile
?

I have both the one shown below and the rectangular version without stud that
I suppose would be something like 3005oldtile.

Not ready to list just yet but might want to do so sometime this year.

In protest of 3830c01 being marked for deletion I am not going to sell either
3830 or 3831 on BrickLink.

I sell used bricks, nearly all of these come to me as a complete hinge, in order
to sell them I must either sell them as a pair or manually separate them and
then list them separately.

Part No: 3830c01 Name: Hinge Brick 1 x 4 Swivel
*
3830c01 Hinge Brick 1 x 4 Swivel
Parts: Hinge
Marked for Deletion

I still don't understand why they were marked for deletion. There only single
colors in the catalog, no crossed colors, no decorated items. Nothing but plain
single colors.

I will sell them on other well known sites.

Is there a difference between Lego Technic battery boxes - 8881-1 and 59510c01?

The images look like they were photographed from different sides, but appear
to be the same.

Are there any physical differences?

Hi,
What are the differences between the Power function Hubs: 88009 and bb892c01?
Externally they look the same.

Minifig No: sh167 Name: Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor
*
sh167 (Inv) Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor
Minifigures: Super Heroes: Avengers Age of Ultron
and

Minifig No: sh498 Name: Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor, Trans-Clear Head
*
sh498 (Inv) Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor, Trans-Clear Head
Minifigures: Super Heroes: Avengers Age of Ultron
are both named Mark 43 in the catalog and though they
are very similar, they are distinguishable and I fear there may be an error.
But maybe not?

Minifig No: sh167 Name: Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor
*
sh167 (Inv) Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor
Minifigures: Super Heroes: Avengers Age of Ultron
came in 3 Age of Ultron sets and was originally named "Iron Man MK43".
Tony did use Mark 43 in that movie. And you can recognize design elements from
it in the minifig. All 3 of the scenes depicted in the Lego sets were when Tony
was wearing 43 in the movie. In short, this seems like a closed case.

Minifig No: sh498 Name: Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor, Trans-Clear Head
*
sh498 (Inv) Iron Man - Mark 43 Armor, Trans-Clear Head
Minifigures: Super Heroes: Avengers Age of Ultron
came out last year, retroactively an Age of Ultron set. It is very
similar to sh167. There is a slight deco change to the legs that reflects nothing
on Mark 33. There is a larger change to the upper torso with a large gray panels
with silver cables. This also doesn't depict anything in the Mark 33 Armor
or the Mark 34 used late in the movie. I don't readily find an MCU Armor
with that design element. What's worse (and embarrassing) is that this minifig
was originally named "Iron Man (76105)". It was me that changed it to "Iron
Man Mk 43 (Trans-Clear Head)" and then to "Iron Man Mark 43 Armor (Trans-Clear
Head)" and I have no recollection of what information I was going on. Maybe
the instructions or box say so? I haven't seen the movie since it came out.
Does this perhaps depict damage that Hulk did to the Armor?

Not sure if this is in the correct area to post. I am wanting to start and complete
a Star Wars MiniFig collection. I am looking for a list with variants included
to help me with this. Any push in the right direction is appreciated.

Hi!
I would just like to know if the entry 3009p01 encompasses entry 3009p01e (embossed
print), since there is no separate entry 3009p01s with surface print (or whatever
part id the part with surface print would receive)?

Goodmorning everyone!
Set 71040: are there 2 versions? I noticed that the front box "type 1" under
the word "16+" has:
- the number of pieces
- the word "building toy"
- has 7 minifig.
The front box type 2 does NOT have the number of pieces and does not have the
word "building toy"; has 5 minifig.
Are there any fakes?
Also on the small side where there are minifigs in the type 2 box there are no
small writings.
Thanks as always for the info.

I have a potential buyer for a 6x14 plate, a red one.
This red plate is an old one and weighs 12,1 grams while the Bricklinkcatalog
mentions 11 grams.

I checked it with a new lbg 6x14 plate and this plate weighs 11 grams.

So quite some difference with about 10%.

Is this normal for older versions?

Part No: 4175  Name: Ladder 1 1/2 x 2 x 2
*
4175 Ladder 1 1/2 x 2 x 2
Parts: Ladder

I've noticed some blue and black versions that look different. The shade
of blue is a bit greenish (image may not show this clearly) and the shade of
blue is a bit greyish. They are easily identifiable by their color variation
but they can also be identified by some whitening/fraying along the edges. I
believe they're made from a softer plastic than usual. Are these vintage
or from certain special sets?

Hello,

I have in my possession two types of 3039p23 Light Gray Computer Screen with
buttons on the right side.

The regular version (left) has buttons in Yellow, Green and Red - reading downwards.

The other version (right) has the Yellow and Red buttons swapped.

Would this difference be enough for a new code number or at least a mention on
the 3039p23 page.

Regards,

Karl.

The brand filter is not working correctly. I have LEGO only turned on, yet I

Hi there, hope someone can help.

I've found what looks like a 7049b but with a white rather than red interior
and 'Pat Pend' on the bottom. It's from a box of my own childhood
Lego so it's definitely from the early 80's - should I list this as a
7049b or is there a better description?

Grateful for some advice...

I’m wondering what’s the rationale for having changed the name (and dimensions)
of

Part No: 18654 Name: Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 1 (Spacer)
*
18654 Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 1 (Spacer)
Parts: Technic, Liftarm
from “1 L” to “2/3 L”.

I can’t see where it’s 0.67L.

Especially if I compare it to

Part No: 62462 Name: Technic, Pin Connector Round 2L with Slot (Pin Joiner Round)
*
62462 Technic, Pin Connector Round 2L with Slot (Pin Joiner Round)
Parts: Technic, Connector

Part No: 6538 Name: Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged Undetermined Type)
*
6538 Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged Undetermined Type)
Parts: Technic, Connector
and their variants, or with

Part No: 43857 Name: Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 2
*
43857 Technic, Liftarm Thick 1 x 2
Parts: Technic, Liftarm
and other liftarms/beams, or all the connectors with “# L” in their descriptions.

In the same way, its new dimensions are 1 x 1 x 0.67. As it’s a cylinder, it
means the 0.67 is supposed to apply to its height. But its height is exactly
1 stud, which is 5/6th = 0.83 brick, not 2/3rd = 0.67, and, anyway, “L” means
stud, not brick, so 1 = 1.

Therefore, I strongly believe its name should have stayed “Technic, Pin Connector
Round 1 L” and its dimensions should be 1 x 1 x 0.83.
(Actually, its diameter is a shy less than 1 stud, so its dimensions should be
0.9something x 0.9something x 0.83 but all the liftarms have the same width and
are said to be 1 stud wide.)

Not filing a proper catalogue change request because I really would want to know
the reasoning here, not play ping-pong.

I have quite a few rubber bands here and some more to post soon. I have generally
been pretty non-critical when parting out Technic sets with old rubber bands,
but I have one I'm not sure about at the moment and all this is to say:

If we edited the names of the old rubber bands to give approximate "diameter
at rest" would they still have in just a few size classes or would we find 20
size classes?

The inventory for Ship in a Bottle shows these two parts:

Part No: 61287pb001 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb001 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated

Part No: 61287pb002 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb002 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated

...both indicating that the print of the continents should be Reddish Brown.

I recently tried to purchase the halves from a Bricklink Seller, only to receive
Brown continents, as per

Part No: 61287pb005 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Dark Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb005 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Dark Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated
and

Part No: 61287pb006 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Dark Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb006 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Dark Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated

In discussing the situation with the seller, they said they had "Parted Out"
4 such Ship in Bottle sets, yet all the globe pieces in their inventory (including
another 3 or 4 pairs they already had) were the same ... Brown!

Is there some way to verify if the globes in the set might have been different
print colors throughout the manufacture run of Ship in a Bottle?

If you have a Ship in a Bottle set built, take a look at what color the continents
are for you ... perhaps Brown is a valid Alternate that should be added to the
inventory?

Hi!

The main image for the abovementioned iPhone Case is broken, the second one looks
good. Could please someone set the second pic as the main pic?
Thanks!

I get a little annoyed every time I encounter this piece.

Part No: 88287 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Headdress Desert Head Wrap Keffiyeh
*
88287 Minifigure, Headgear Headdress Desert Head Wrap Keffiyeh
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear

It's always the same cycle, I search "turban" because it's very similar
to a turban.
and all that pops up are these;

Part No: 40235 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Turban with Hole
*
40235 Minifigure, Headgear Turban with Hole
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear
&

Part No: 18822 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Turban without Hole
*
18822 Minifigure, Headgear Turban without Hole
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear

So then I remember that the piece I'm looking for is on a few of the Prince
of Persia minifigs so I go to catalog, minifigs, prince of persia, and then scroll
until I find one with the matching headgear, and then drill down into it's
inventory to find that it's called a "Keffiyeh"

to which my response is, "oh, well, I'll probably never remember that..."

I wish the description was "Headgear Headdress Cloth Wrap Keffiyeh (Turban)"
even if it's not technically a turban. It would help me find it faster in
the future.

At any rate, taking the time to type this all out should help me remember in
the future and I discovered that one only has to type "kef*" in the headgear
search and this pops up so I should be able to remember those 3 letters at least
going forward.

Took me awhile to remember "kepi" for this part too, but I remembered eventually.

Should

Part No: 60208  Name: Wheel 31mm D. x 15mm Technic
*
60208 Wheel 31mm D. x 15mm Technic
Parts: Wheel
really be classified as a wheel when (to the best of my knowledge)
its never ever been used as a wheel nor had a tyre made that fits it?

The official LEGO parts database classifies

Part No: 2695  Name: Wheel 30mm D. x 13mm (13 x 24 Model Team)
*
2695 Wheel 30mm D. x 13mm (13 x 24 Model Team)
Parts: Wheel
as a hub but it classifies

Part No: 60208  Name: Wheel 31mm D. x 15mm Technic
*
60208 Wheel 31mm D. x 15mm Technic
Parts: Wheel
as a turbine.

I believe the part should be renamed since its clearly not a wheel (even if it
happens to be vaguely similar to a different unrelated part that IS used as a
wheel)

Can a counterpart be added for the 60616 Trans-Red Door 1 x 4 x 6 with Stud Handle

This is mostly just a matter of curiosity, but I seem to remember the celebratory
microscale Avengers Tower having had an entry on here previously, and now I can't
find it. Why might that be?

Hello there

This is my first post

I just bought Lego set Lego 8275, the box was open, but all lego bags are unopened.
My question is, does anyone know how many lego bags the package should contain,
so I know with 100 percent that the set is complete.

Have searched for 2 days now and have unfortunately nothing to find Hope you
can help me and thank you from Denmark

Is there a way to get a list of all known colors parts come in?
I don't necesseraly need to know the sets, where the combinations are used
but just a long list of parts and colors.
Or did someone already figured a way out to put this data together and can provide
a list?

The results don't have to be 100% complete and must not be up to date.

I intentionally bought a set a week ago that isn't in our catalog and I've
been waiting for it to arrive, but it hasn't. Meanwhile, I opened up a banded

Set No: 9725  Name: ROBOLAB Amusement Park Set {1998 Version}
*
9725-1 (Inv) ROBOLAB Amusement Park Set {1998 Version}
284 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 2 Books, 4 Gear, 1998
Sets: Educational & Dacta: MINDSTORMS: RCX
that DID arrive today and soon realized I have something strange on
my hands, so I would appreciate any assistance anyone can offer. The catalog
entry on 9725 says it is the 1998 version, but there is no other version in the
catalog. This one has a piece of paper that says 2002 on it. The inventory
is largely identical, but 3 out 5 minifigs are different, all the grays are bluish
and several other pieces changed color. So I guess it is 9725-2?

Notably, the large card that makes for an incomplete parts list has the old minifigs
and the old color variants. I had everything unsealed before I realized, but
I have everything together.

We have some great news for our catalog contributors - we have promoted Hygrotus,
one of our current Inventories Administrators to a new position, Catalog Associate:

https://www.bricklink.com/memberAdmins.asp

The Catalog Associate position is the same in terms of privileges as our former
Catalog Admin position. However, it is only a temporary position that we will
use as a stepping stone to the new Catalog Admin position, which will include
both catalog and inventories privileges plus a few other things.

Marek recently completed one year as an Inventories Administrator:

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1133413

and has done an excellent job. He has brought steadiness and reliability to our
admin team and we look forward to seeing what he will do now on the catalog side
of things. Please welcome him to this new position!

Hello, I saw a problem regarding catalog view. I cant's see all color variants
listed on sale. When I add a brick in a unique color, it does not appear to me
on the list of bricks available for sale. Does anyone know what the reason is?

Hi

I have a 8x10 remote control without buttons that I want to sell in case anyone
can use it as spare parts (e.g. reuse the springs). But because I can't identify
it by the buttons, I need to know: Are the inside of all five variants the same
(e.g. only the print different)?

Hi guys.

I am collecting new sets (sealed and open boxes). I recently got a 5580 set.
Polybags are all sealed, but the box is open. There are TWO x88 black rubber
bands contained loosely in the tray.

A friend of mine has the same set, but in his set, there are THREE x88 rubber
bands contained loosely in the tray.

I am afraid that the seller might have lost one of the rubber bands, as the box
was open.

I checked the bricklink inventory, but it is flawed. They list two x137 rubber
bands for the set. I don't trust in their list, as it must be x88 instead
of x137. So I also don't trust in the quantity they list.

As I am a collector and it is important for me that the set is complete with
all extra parts, can anybody confirm that there are versions of the set with
only TWO x88 rubber band rings in total and not THREE?

Kind regards,

Jo

I found this

Part No: 60603  Name: Glass for Window 1 x 4 x 3 - Opening
*
60603 Glass for Window 1 x 4 x 3 - Opening
Parts: Window, Glass & Shutter
among my spare parts. It has four small indentations positioned
in a perfect rectangle horizontally centered, so that can't be playwear.
Has anyone seen this before? Could a note be added to the part that sellers may
be interested in knowing which variant is sold just like the glass with large
sprue marks?
