I have all of them, and I have never seen that one. How do you know it is official?

It's close in design to the Nexo Knights Magician's Hat logo, if that
helps.

Looks somewhat like this. But I can't confirm, catalog search-ability is

Good afternoon friends!

I can't find anything about a possible promotional or gift set related to
the "Lego Masters" TV show that has been seen on social networks in two versions
of 107 pieces (white-gray and red-yellow) with the product references 6386184
and 6386182. Can you tell me something about it? Really exist? Will it go on
sale at some point?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Hello Tonnic,

thanks for your opinion. The last part is a rubber band. I doubt there is one
in that color produce by lego, is it?

It looks like part redbox01, BL-picture is awful and found a better here: https://rebrickable.com/sets/710-2/lockable-storage-case/#parts.

My storage box however has a more bluish handle and the fittings are not similar.
These really seem authentic and I cannot see how they have been replaced without
any signs.

In the set entry for redbox01 (710-2) it's in the notes that it was produced
for the danish market but the text inside is in swedish.

Could anyone help me find this in the catalog? If it is redbox01, are the handles
authentic? If they are, should the description of the part be changed or does
this justify a new entry?

Best Regards

710-2 wasn't only produce for the Danish marked (the note are wrong), it
was sold in Sweden to.
The Box version you have aren't in the catalog.
There are more version of those boxes that aren't in there. I have a blue
box that are close to the "redbox01" with different locks that aren't in
there ether.

And a comment to the Admins:
"redbox02" needs a name change, the handle is red, not white in the main picture.
Add 785-1 as a second image and add a note stating that the color of the handle
should be specified when adding it for sale.

And add a note that "710-2" ("redbox01") came with a Basic Building Set when
it was sold, unfortunately I do not know which one that was included.

I think you need to make a separate message about that, not sure the admins read
all this…

OK, fair enough - it looks like at least some BTR bricks have a similar logo

Double checking the piece, it seems to have a BTR logo on it. I am disappointed,
thanks for all the help.

Does it say LEGO on the studs?

At least in the helicopter picture it does - you can see the studs if you view
it at normal magnification (100%).

I can't read that.

It's not 100% clear but you can see there's something there that is consistent
with the LEGO logo:

Does it say LEGO on the studs?

At least in the helicopter picture it does - you can see the studs if you view
it at normal magnification (100%).

That’s so hilarious!! That’s the same piece I had, maybe I did. I have two of
them right now, they look to be decently old, maybe an older lego piece. The
printing matches some older pieces.

  Hey guys,
just stumbled over a pneumatic hose I'm not sure about in a crate of used

Set No: 8040 Name: Building Set

162 Parts, 1984
Sets: Technic: Universal Building Set
but this one looks different (see the picture: the long one is my original one):
The inner diameter is slightly smaller, and the surface is shiny instead of matte.
Is it just a newer version, or not Lego?
Thanks,
Patrick

Here's the pic, sorry!

Looks more like a rigid hose, like

Part No: 75c08 Name: Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 8L / 6.4cm
*
75c08 Hose, Rigid 3mm D. 8L / 6.4cm

, but rather too shiny.

Pneumatic hoses can fit snug around a bar or pneumatic T piece;
rigid hoses provide a good fit for a clip on the outside and too loose a fit
for a hair decoration pin on the inside.

Thanks a ton!

That would be a 3x4 plate but it doesn't exist. Can you use 2 2x3 plates
instead?

I don't believe there is a part like that. It would be called 3x4 or 4x3
plate if there is.

Thanks. That's a neat trick.

I've used it before, along with others.

Boy, It sure would be nice if there were something easier from Lego for this
purpose.

I was kind of hoping for something like: "Dude - try Minifig Accessory Throwing
Triangle with Three Studs..." Which might exist, but I guess it doesn't.

I spent some time looking at modified plates, wings, wedges, etc, I couldn't
find anything that works like it that has that nice little half-width jumper.
I use 3794 in a similar way a lot.

So.... Anyone?

Mot they I have ever run across, it would be very useful thou.

The only association I have with the word 'disc' is a CD.

As I said: non-native speaker here, and maybe a bit too much math-oriented.

In French, the more colloquial word for circle is rond.
For instance, you throw a stone in the water and it makes des ronds, not
des cercles and even less des anneaux (rings but only for fingers,
planets or maths).
As soon as you say cercle, it implies it’s just the perimeter.

To me, a dot is less specific than a solid circle. But I realize that I lean
more toward geometry terms when adding descriptions. I chose the word solid to
differentiate it some more from the other similar tile. I am sure the catalog
admins will look it over and decide what's best. I never mind if they improve
upon my submissions.

Jen

Yeah to me too, dot is less specific but I was trying to find some simple word
in my limited vocabulary.
Anyway, let’s leave the wise ones decide

The the bottom right hand corner is the difference. One is a button, the other
a button or diode.

The only difference I see is the power button - one is more defined, brighter

Anyway, the descriptions don’t tell us what’s the difference.  On the contrary,
as they are worded now, they seem to say the power button is the same (”White
Power Switch Icon“ for both) and let us think there’s a difference in the patterns
(“1” vs. “3”, very helping).

So if the difference is really the power button, maybe the descriptions should
tell us that.
E.g. “White Power Button” vs. “White Power Switch Icon.”

Agreed. The descriptions are/were worded poorly.

So what I have is:

Blonde braid
Tan cape no stripe

On BL there are two versions listed:

Item No: sw0822
Brown braid
Olive green cape no stripe

Item No: sw0711
Blond braid
Dark Tan cape with stripe

I dont think the tan cape I have is dark tan or olive green, its tan or beige.
If that is consider dark tan on BL, then I still have a different Boba Fett,
than the 18 listed on BL.

thoughts?

Looks like it's just

*
sw0711 (Inv) Boba Fett - Pauldron Cloth with Dark Orange Stripe Pattern

They probably lost the pauldron and made a custom one themselves. That does
not look like an official pauldron and certainly isn't olive green. The fabric
texture is wrong. Also you are missing the antenna.

I think the titles of these items are misleading - they give the impression that
the computer monitor pattern is different, where the difference lies in the power
switch.

  Hi,

this from a bulk purchase of Lego from a 14 yr old kid. I doubt he put something

The minifig I have has a blonde braid on the torso and a tan cape without mark
and the head is the Grimacing face. This combination doesn't exist on BL.

So what I have is:

Blonde braid
Tan cape no stripe

On BL there are two versions listed:

Item No: sw0822
Brown braid
Olive green cape no stripe

Item No: sw0711
Blond braid
Dark Tan cape with stripe

I dont think the tan cape I have is dark tan or olive green, its tan or beige.
If that is consider dark tan on BL, then I still have a different Boba Fett,
than the 18 listed on BL.

thoughts?

Looks like it's just

*
sw0711 (Inv) Boba Fett - Pauldron Cloth with Dark Orange Stripe Pattern
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6

They probably lost the pauldron and made a custom one themselves. That does
not look like an official pauldron and certainly isn't olive green. The fabric
texture is wrong. Also you are missing the antenna.

Really? At 14 years old, I was constantly creating custom figures. Now if you
got it from a 30 year old collector, you might have a point.

99% chance it's a custom. Just about all minifigures are derived from set
instructions. So unless you can find a set that shows that specific combination,
then it doesn't exist.

The reason I am doubting is because there is no indication there were two Boba
Fetts, so how would he be able to create a custom thing without the parts?

Anyway, I don't know if there is a set that comes with this combination,
hence I am asking here

Cheers.

But seriously, you think this is not an official version? I wonder then how he
would have mixed it up, as there are no other parts indicating he had two Boba's.

I thought maybe it was intentional but according to set reviews yes we had it
the wrong way. Have fixed but you may need a hard refresh to notice.
