Is it possible to part out sets to your stockroom and when you take the parts
out of stockroom have them combine to parts you already have listed without making
2 listings for parts you already have. I want to do the computer work first before
I do the physical work but not if is going to give me for example listings for
2 sets of black technic pins, blue technic axle pins, etc.

Hi everyone,
This is my first post on here, so apologies if I get the format wrong.

I recently won a large lot of loose Lego at auction, (for too much money), and
have been working my way sorting through it all.

What hooked me was that it came with 30+ instruction sheets, all from the late
80's and early 90's, plus the box for 6542 Launch and Load and 6286 Pirate
Schooner.

Having now spent a couple of surprisingly enjoyable weeks cleaning and picking
out bits, I have 21 near complete sets (minus any Minifigures), but also normally
missing a couple of special pieces.

My question is - What should I do with it now?!

should I (A) looking to buy all of the missing parts (currently 215, inc. minifigs
across 21 sets) to complete the set and sell as 100% complete.

Overall it seems that I need to spend 25-35% of the set selling price to complete.

Or (B) part out and save myself the time of buying the parts to sell them on?

Part of me feels that it would be nice to complete them, but it will also take
a lot longer to get things up and running.

Note - given their age there are also a fair few discoloured parts which I would
want to de-yellow before selling.

All lot of the left over basic part will just join my son's collection.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

P.S. Not sure what happened to the photos flipping!

I've just pulled apart a set (#4495 - Star Wars AT-TE Mini) that I purchased
my self, many years ago, which has been in sealed storage in my loft pretty much
since I first assembled it.

I noticed that several parts were old dark grey while the majority were dark
bluish grey.

I checked the inventory and found that all parts should have been dark bluish
grey. There was no mention of old dark grey parts.

These parts (2* 1x4 plate and 6* Hinge Plate 1 x 2 Locking with 1 Finger On Top)
are definitely old dark grey. They are not sun damaged or faded; they are full
and evenly coloured top, bottom and sides. Also no other colour parts are affected.

So

1) Is this unusual?
2) Can the Inventory reflect that this set may have old dark grey alternative
parts.

Hi,
I am building The big Millenium Falcon and want to sort the parts into bags as
they appear in the instructions. I can see the inventory for the total build,
but it would make building easier if I could sort the parts into the same bags
they come is as new. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I could get
parts list arranged this way?
thanks

I have a question, maybe someone knows some rule.
In the past, modular instructions were wrapped in foil sealed with a seal.
What does the number on the seal mean?
For some time now, the instructions have been wrapped in heat-sealed foil in
modulars.
Do you know what was the packing version of the instruction for 10211?

I don't buy the advents often, even though I think the trays are really nice.
Today, I splurged for the Star Wars and Harry Potter advents and received a
duplicate figure.

It was a nice surprise. 2x of this in one set:

Hey everyone,
I feel like this was a thing and now I can't figure it out. Is there a way
to part out a set from my inventory? Case in point, I'm looking at the part
out value for

Set No: 10276 Name: SPQR Colosseum
*
10276-1 (Inv) SPQR Colosseum
9036 Parts, 2020
Sets: Sculptures
and I already have about 5k of the pieces in inventory.
Is there a way to take all of those pieces out of my inventory with a reverse
part out?
Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to put a inventorie from a set in one click to my store. I always
have a lot of work to put my pieces to my site. So I hope there is a quick way
to do it. I hope that somebody from Holland will tell me how to do it in dutch.

I have just had to remove a load of items off an order as the buyer didn't
want them anymore.
I submitted the requests and the buyer has approved the request to remove them.

How do I go about getting them added back into my store? reading the instructions
it says that if the buyer submitted the request and the seller agrees then they
will be added back.
I can't seem to find anything about adding them from the other way around.

It seems I now have to add each part and quantity by hand is that the case?

Looking at the listings, some sellers provided their own pictures which show
a polybag in addition to the box. It looks like the polybag could stand on its
own without the box, even having the set number on it. I would think it's
easier to ship/distribute and save on packaging if the box wasn't included.
Why would Lego double-package it like that? Did they used to do this for all
of the small sets?

Hi All:

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can find set instructions and or an inventory
for a Certified Professional Lego Set I acquired. It's a model of a Snap
On Tool Roll Cart (KRL7022). I don't know if Bricklink allows the sale of
these "approved" sets on Bricklink.Thanks!

As we all know, Bricklink was bought by Lego Company a while ago.

So, I am wondering, why does it take so long ("inventory pending") until the
inventories of new sets are online here at Bricklink? What's the problem
to take them directly from the mother company and put them online from release
day #1?

I want to mass update the dimensions of the minifigs in my inventory.

Is it possible using the BrickLink user interface? Or should I look into a solution
using inventory download, adjusting the fields on my computer and re-upload the
inventory?

Hi, a bit new to BrickLink so wondering on an inventory list for a set, if a
different color appears in the “alternate items” section, does that mean that
when the set was originally purchased, that it could have included alternate
items (like color) in the set purchased?

There is a 3069bpc1 in Dark Bluish Gray in the Sesame Street set #21324. I am
parting one out and I don't have a 3069bpc1 in DBG, but do have a different
1x2 tile with a similar print in LIGHT bluish Gray. I'm attaching a picture
of it here. Can someone change the set and/or verify that the 3069bpc1 in DGB
is NOT in the set? I couldn't find a part that matched the piece I have.
If it is a new piece, you can use my picture if needed.

Hello!

I submitted an inventory for the set 4002018 almost a year ago, and it is still
waiting for approval. Do you have any updated information about the process?
I also provided a scan of the instructions part list.

Thank you!

I'm not so good at this inventory stuff so if an admin would help it would
be very helpfull.

There are muliple mistakes in the inventory for set 080-1 Basic Building Set
with Train.

Reason for so many mistakes are that some of the instructions are on the trays
inside the box.

Going through my inventory, doing some stuff, and I notice that it is sorting
things differently than it has in the past. I think it is sorting it by lot ID,

Thanks,

TL;DR version - do the rules about incomplete minifigs also cover substitutions?
I.e. a head that has the same print but a different stud.

Long version - I bought a collection from a family who I know and trust. One
of the sets is an opened but complete

Set No: 7914 Name: Mandalorian Battle Pack
*
7914-1 (Inv) Mandalorian Battle Pack
48 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2011
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars

The inventory says the minifigs should have type C blocked open stud heads but
3 of them have type B hollow stud heads.

There aren't any

Minifig No: sw0494 Name: Mandalorian Super Commando
*
sw0494 (Inv) Mandalorian Super Commando
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars The Clone Wars
which is supposedly the only one with a type
B head.

I've seen some inventories with a note to say that both stud types have been
found in a particular set or minifigure.

Substitutions, as well as incomplete minifigs, are a pet peeve, and I don't
want to list them if they break the rules. Should I request that the alternate
head be noted in the inventory or should the catalog be updated so that the type
B head is associated with both minifigs?

Whilst I’m sure we all understand and appreciate that minifigs have to be listed
as per the instructions and whilst for the most part this might be a good guideline
to follow can we not also try and gauge what we feel the majority of the community
would consider more fitting as a complete minifigure along with what might be
considered unnecessary as part of a complete minifigure?

For instance we have Oscar the Grouch in his trash can marked for deletion??

Minifig No: Idea078 Name: Oscar the Grouch
*
idea078 (Inv) Oscar the Grouch
Minifigures: LEGO Ideas (CUUSOO)

To be replaced with this:-

Minifig No: Idea079 Name: Oscar the Grouch (without Trash Can)
*
idea079 (Inv) Oscar the Grouch (without Trash Can)
Minifigures: LEGO Ideas (CUUSOO)

I’m not sure anyone would consider the newer entry complete for instance would
anyone actually display the Oscar minifig without the trash can either way the
instructions point to the parts being arrow directed down into the trash can
anyway?
Then compared with these minifigs that have non-essential accessories:-

Minifig No: sw0471 Name: Yoda - Olive Green, Open Robe with Large Creases, Neck Bracket
*
sw0471 (Inv) Yoda - Olive Green, Open Robe with Large Creases, Neck Bracket
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 2

Minifig No: njo079 Name: Jay - The Final Battle, Jet Pack
*
njo079 (Inv) Jay - The Final Battle, Jet Pack
Minifigures: NINJAGO: The Final Battle

The yoda has a part only useful with the actual build and if you want Jay In
his kimono outfit you have to specifically purchase him with the multiple part
jet pack whilst the other ninja characters in matching outfits are sold standalone
as should be the same for all?

I’m then confused further as we have Ghostbusters characters in the catalog with
and without their proton packs so are they supposed to be fully accessorised,
barebone or a mix of both, which is it?

Minifig No: gb001 Name: Dr. Egon Spengler - Plain Arms, Proton Pack
*
gb001 (Inv) Dr. Egon Spengler - Plain Arms, Proton Pack
Minifigures: LEGO Ideas (CUUSOO): Ghostbusters

Minifig No: gb001i Name: Dr. Egon Spengler - Plain Arms
*
gb001i (Inv) Dr. Egon Spengler - Plain Arms
Minifigures: LEGO Ideas (CUUSOO): Ghostbusters

To be honest I like the two options given for the Ghostbusters minifigs and whilst
the majority of minifgs should only have one entry I think it would make sense
to have two entries for certain minifigs like the Jay without jetpack and other
minifigs like this one with an option to buy with and without a backpack:-

Minifig No: sw0824 Name: Moroff
*
sw0824 (Inv) Moroff
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Rogue One

Hello,
I was checking the 853-1 instrunction and I noticed that on the front seat image
there was an 1x5 brick!
So I think there is a mistake in this image.
Has anyone noticed that?

Light Aqua; that's the default image)?

Part No: 91405 Name: Plate 16 x 16

I can see that, in 11717-1 inventory, four 91405 (one Bright Green, one Dark
Tan, one Medium Azure, and one White) are listed. All I want to know is if all
the remaining contents are the exact same as those found in 10717-1.

-------------------

Right now, Wal-Mart has the 11717 for $39.99. Not a bad deal, especially when
you consider that you had to be a CostCo member last year to get a 10717-1 for
the same price, and without any 91405.

I know there have been several discussions about what constitutes a minifig and
I'm sure this must have been brought up before, but in the inventories for
a "complete" Iron Man, Legion, Ultron, etc., why are the bricks round included
for the feet but not the plates for the hands?

Those parts are included in

Set No: comcon048 Name: Throne of Ultron - San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive
*
comcon048-1 (Inv) Throne of Ultron - San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive
179 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2015
Sets: Super Heroes: Avengers Age of Ultron
but even on the box, Ultron isn't
shown using his thrusters, he's sitting on his shiny metal backside.

Those on the hands are shown in place in the images for most sets and could be
considered more important as they're also used as weapons but they're
not included. Personally, I wouldn't include either of them as they're
really added effects.

I've noticed items that are being moved from one category to another. Is
there a list that I can use because I'm finding it very time consuming hunting
for the product in a order. Please and thank you. Kathleen

I cannot seem to get the order applied to my Wanted List. I have tried in the
order to hit the button "Add Order Items to My Wanted List" and it shows with
errors (drop downs not working and "Add Parts" button does nothing).

I have also tried to add the order in the Wanted List using the "Apply Order"
and nothing happens when I select the order then select "Apply to List".

I have tried with Mozilla, Chrome, and IE. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Hej,
I have just noticed these two parts with the "shell" prints on them may be listed
as color "white" or "not applicable", though it's the exact same piece. So
they should be merged.
I may have missed them because I had listed only the white ones in my wanted
list.

Possibly a lot of other printed items have the same problem ?

I've never made a change request or added a piece here, so maybe someone
with more skill with that and for free time can do it. But there is an error
for the Diagon Alley 75978 inventory.

According to Bricklink, it supposedly has two green 19729 (regular size minecraft
head) with no prints. However, upon opening the set, I have found that they are
not 19729, but 35530 (baby minecraft head). There is currently no listing on
BL for a plain 35530.

I notice that there seem to be two different versions of the fire station logo.
In the inventory there is a smaller version shown on the sticker sheet than on
the box picture:

https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/PN/0/6382stk02.png

vs.

https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/SN/0/6382-1.png

There are also different pictures of the fire station shown, e.g.

big: https://img.ricardostatic.ch/t_1800x1350/pl/1074319782/0/1/

small: https://media.karousell.com/media/photos/products/2020/6/11/original_lego_classic_town_638_1591916761_4813ed70_progressive

or
https://promoklocki.pl/media/6382/lego-6382.jpg

which seems to be a scan of a lego catalogue.

So are there two versions? Just like the two versions of the POLICE sign (serif
and sans serif) of 6384?

I believe someone who has this minifig from a sealed set can build the inventory

Hi,

I bought this one incomplete:

Set No: 164 Name: Passenger Wagon
*
164-1 (Inv) Passenger Wagon
152 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 1978
Sets: Train: 4.5V

I found 4 black pcs of each of these in that set:

Part No: 3358 Name: Fence Gate 1 x 3 x 2 Lattice
*
3358 Fence Gate 1 x 3 x 2 Lattice
Parts: Fence {Black}

Part No: 3359 Name: Fence Gate 1 x 3 x 2 Base
*
3359 Fence Gate 1 x 3 x 2 Base
Parts: Fence {Black}
These aren't in the BL inventory and they're also not in the inventory
on Rebrickable, Peeron, ..
BUT! If you look at the box, they are used in one of the alternate models.
That model isn't on the instructions though.
http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/164-1?showpic=6308

Inventory on BL and Peeron both show "instructions" as source of the inventory
list.
Could it be that they originally were included with the set, even though they
weren't actually used in the instructions?

If yes, can these be added as extras in the inventory, or should that only be
done if someone opens a sealed set?

So I find that each time I listed a minifig that was brand new, but missing a
part like an accessory that was in the picture of the fig, like a shoulder piece
or cape, BL in the next day or so would remove it. We can't list figs as
new but incomplete or complete because BL never was set up like that. So BL
deleted my fig post saying it was against the rules but of course no explanation.
Do we really have to list a brand new fig as used, or as parts when it's
missing something like a cape or skirt???

When it gets deleted so quickly, does that mean that another member reported
it quickly to admins to get it removed? Someone said it's the new BL algorithm
that did it automatically, but that can't be true because I see other sellers
figs that are missing parts but still listed as new. So am I being singled out
by someone following me and reporting anything I do just to be a jerk?

Thanks in advance.
James

I recently got a couple of instructions for building MOC's, put the parts
list in a wanted list and want to start buying the parts for them.
Now clicking on buy all I can scroll down and find my shop so I can see what
parts I have in stock, I can't buy from myself for obvious reasons.
Is there anyway we can pick parts from a wanted list and click on remove from
inventory or something like that so we can pick the parts we have in stock
and get them removed from the inventory.
It's very long winded pulling up the wanted list, pulling up the inventory
and manually deleting the parts that you need. It helps to have a twin screen
setup on a desktop but trying to do it on one screen would be a pain.

Hello. I am in the process of listing in my store my 30104 21 Chain Links (16-17L).
I have more than 50 in total of assorted colours and ages. When I stretch them
out I am noticing they come in 2 different lengths. One length is 1 stud shorter
than the other (both lengths have 21 chain links). Is this the case?

Please replace

4x 4081a (Black Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Light Attachment - Thin Ring)

with

4x 4081 (Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Light Attachment (Undetermined Ring Type)

Reason:
Set seems to be released with both versions (thin ring and thick ring) of this
part, depending on fabrication date.

I personally own this set. The manual indeed shows the Thin Ring. However: I
have never seen a thin ring version in my life. I checked the entire inventory
of my lego and I have exactly the same amount of Thick Ring versions in Excess
than that I am short on Thin Ring Versions. Indicating that this set was indeed
bought with Thick Ring included from the factory, despite the Manual showing
a thin ring.

Hello,
I have just tried to build the 8097 with bricks collected with the inventory
at Bricklink.
I found the first wrong parts at page 10! (dark bluish gray slopes 4x2... the
inventory says 3x2!)
Did I make a mistake??
Until now the bricklink-inventory was my "bible", I have collected several inventories
so far and never met any problems!!

So what was my problem?

Greetings,
Jens

We had to refund a customer who ordered part# 4066 in trans light blue which
was extracted from set#10507

The part# is wrongly listed, it should be part #76371 which is an alternate but
has a tube in the center of the brick.
The customer had no use for the tubed part so we refunded in full.
Thank you.

This evening's ramble is brought to you by the letters A & B, and the number
2.

I parted out 2 different sets into stockrooms A and B. I was prompted to consolidate
lots but I wanted to keep them separate for now. No problem.

I got the chance of another set A, so I parted that out and was prompted to consolidate,
but it seems to be only with the lots in stockroom B. I declined, and now I have
duplicates in A.

So..

1. Is there a way, when parting out, to consolidate the lots into only one stockroom?

2. How do I consolidate lots later? I'm hoping it's not a case of individually
doubling one and deleting the other.

3. Is there an option I'm missing that allows us to part out counterparts,
e.g. stickered parts or assemblies that won't separate easily? Or do I do
that manually afterwards?

On the subject of counterparts.. both of my sets have a number of stickered parts
but they're not all listed in the inventories.

Hey, we are thinking about buying a counter scale to help with inventory - we
are hoping to find one that can count small, very light pieces such as 1x1 tile,
1x1 round plate, etc all the way up to 2x4 bricks.. does anyone use a counter
scale to help be more efficient pulling orders? Or to help with adding inventory
more quickly? Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post but the piece

Part No: 14769pb338 Name: Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Bottom Stud Holder with Super Mario Scanner Code Super Mushroom Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 30385 / 40414 / 71366 / 71418

14769pb338 Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Bottom Stud Holder with Super Mario Scanner Code Super Mushroom Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 30385 / 40414 / 71366 / 71418
Parts: Tile, Round, Decorated
isn't included in the set

Set No: 30385 Name: Super Mushroom Surprise - Expansion Set polybag
*
30385-1 (Inv) Super Mushroom Surprise - Expansion Set polybag
10 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2020
Sets: Super Mario: Super Mario Expansion Set

It sounds odd, but the barcode for the Super Mushroom included in Super Mushroom
Surprise is different from the barcode of the Super Mushroom in the other sets
that feature it.

As you can see in these screenshots from the LEGO Super Mario app, there are
two different barcode patterns. One of them matches the barcode seen on the piece
mentioned, while the other has blue stripes instead of magenta stripes.

This is really weird considering they both function identically, but it's
a difference nonetheless and should be documented. It should be noted that the
barcode for the ? Block in 30385-1 is identical to the barcode for ? Blocks included
in other sets.

Set No: 8285 Name: Tow Truck
*
8285-1 (Inv) Tow Truck
1879 Parts, 2006

Let me know if you want ask any questions regarding inventory. I will keep it
in box for 1 week.

For what I could gather so far, there are 3 versions of this set.

Mine comes with 6x Wheels + 8x 75535 Connector in Mettalic Silver.

Can't find the Factory Run number on the seal, may it has faded or never
had it.

Glad to help in anything I can.

Does anyone happen to have an inventory for this set? I'm not interested
because I want to sell it, but because I'd like to know what all of the tan
(? looks like tan to me on lego.com but they could be light nougat) parts are
so I can buy them on BrickLink in another color (specifically reddish brown).
Some of them are not too difficult to figure out but others are hidden inside
the mechanism.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I tried to figure out how to straighten up some confusing entries in the 8880
set inventory. It lists now 18 3L friction pins as standard and 20 as alternate.
To my best knowledge there is no version of this set that would do with 18 pins
only. My manual lists as follows:
step 14: 2pcs
step 21: 2pcs
step 24: 2pcs
substep 5 between 29 and 30: 4pcs
substep 6 between 29 and 30: 2pcs
step 30: 2pcs
step 31: 2pcs
substep 7 between step 32 and 33: 2pcs
substep 8 between step 32 and 33: 2pcs
total 20 pcs.

Listing 20 pieces as alternate is misleading.

I tried to fill change request form, but when I put in the inventory ID of the
standard entry, and 20 as number it tells me that I can't file the change
as the type and color are same as old. When I try to file a change for inventory
ID of the alternate part to change it from Alternate to Standard, it again claims
that there's no change to make and the entry is invalid. I'm a bit lost
here... How do I file the change right?

Hello everyone,

I am considering printing out labels to upgrade my currently subpar inventory
labels and I was wondering how other sellers have gone about doing that? Is
there a template somewhere provided by Bricklink I am unaware of that would be
good to work off of?

I use a lot of Akro-Mils plastic organizers, I wonder if any other sellers use
those as well?

Thank you for any information you may provide!

Regards,
Captain Q

So occasionally I will go through my inventory to delete duplicate lots. I don't
like having multiple lots of the same items. The other day I parted out a set
without consolidating the inventories but didn't realize it until a few days
later. It seems now that when I want to delete one of the two lots it deletes
them both now. Is this because of the new "look" Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks

Hi,

I submitted a key chain for inclusion. Took a picture and attempted to send
it. System told me that the size of the photo was greater than 600X800. Read
the help section to learn what might be done. Help document references a work-around
using an Edit button that is either missing or invisible.

Finding a really old camera is one possible solution. My phone can not be reset
to that resolution. Any other suggestions?

thanks

If I understand the Bricklink "Standards for Inventorying a Mini-figure" correctly,
there is an error in the Mini-figure listing for set 6763 & 6766. According to
the instructions for both sets one of the 2 ww016 is to be (lower right mini-figure)
assembled without an arrow quiver making that figure different. There is a fourth
quiver included with the set that should be moved to the regular inventory, as
the directions show it hanging on the ladder in step #7. If I'm correct,
I'll be happy to submit the necessary inventory change requests. Also while
I'm asking, if the correction is needed and the new min-figure number is
required would that number be ww026 (It's the next available number in the
ww0? order)?

Hey,

I have a set of the Alternate Inventory for the Millenium Falcon 75257.

I can verify the changes to the inventory but just unsure how i do that?

Only because there is not alternate parts. They have removed some parts and
added some others so the inventory is different, not alternate.

For example, the 2 LBG 2357 are not in this set at all and they have added a
1x4 DBG brick.

Thanks

Inventory experts,

Can anyone confirm that the 12L bar in sets 60258 and 60203 are indeed 42445's
and not the alternative 99784's?

Kind regards, Jan.

Hello,

I am in the process of parting out 25 copies of

Set No: 75212 Name: Kessel Run Millennium Falcon
*
75212-1 (Inv) Kessel Run Millennium Falcon
1383 Parts, 7 Minifigures, 2018

What happened is, in bag 2 I got 49 6x6 LBG plates and 1 DBG plate.

Part No: 3958 Name: Plate 6 x 6
*
3958 Plate 6 x 6
Parts: Plate {Light Bluish Gray}

Part No: 3958 Name: Plate 6 x 6
*
3958 Plate 6 x 6
Parts: Plate {Dark Bluish Gray}

The question is, should I submit a alternate request? Or is this just a one time
error of Lego packaging?

Greetings,
Sergio

Hi I am trying to inventory a few parts but am not really sure what their part
numbers are or what kind of hose I have in the picture. Or the hinges where to
find them in the catalogue.

I've added a whole bunch of minifig parts to my Bricklink inventory. Heads,
torsos, legs, accessories.

Is there any way to figure out if I have a complete minifig made from the sum
of those parts. Either on Bricklink or another site which can use your Bricklink
inventory as reference.

I'd love to see what bits I'm missing to complete certain minifigs etc.

Can I make an inventory of my parts on bricklink and keep it and print it for
my reference?

If not do you have a link to one that works well.

Dear all,

I would like to inventory 9550-3 and I would like to copy inventory from 9550-1
in order to change quantities, and then add the specific parts. Is it possible
or should I proceed by doing everything from scratch on the form?
I already made a paper inventory and I will add the specific parts soon.

Warm regards,

Evans L.

Hello,

Please replace part
3650a (Light Gray Technic, Gear 24 Tooth Crown (1st Version - Not Reinforced))

with part
3650b (Technic, Gear 24 Tooth Crown (2nd Version - Reinforced))

See Image below, where you can see the re-inforcements in the box. (I also own
this set with only the B-Type of Gears).

Thank you.

#1. Not sure I have this post in the right forum but it concerns my inventory
so I took a chance.

Is anyone else having trouble with missing inventory? Not sure if it's the
latest BrickLink update or a glitch in the system somewhere BUT I've had
so much inventory disappear that I closed my store to verify it.

So far, and I'm only done verifying two colors, I've had to re-add about
a fifth of my pieces back into my inventory. I have the pieces but they disappeared
from my BrickLink inventory and I would love it if someone could explain HOW
that happens, and IF the problem will be fixed! Also, have had to delete those
pieces I've already sold that somehow showed back up in the system.

This is the 2nd time in the last few months I've had to go back and re-add
or delete inventory that got dropped or reappeared (and it's a pain!!).

Hi. My question - once an order is received and I select completed, is there
a way to have these parts be accounted for in a Wanted List that I have created.
eg. Created a Wanted List with the name "R2D2". Ordered and received most of
these parts. Now I want to have them ticked off from my Wanted List and then
show what is remaining to order... or do I have to do this manually somehow?
Thanks

Hello,

I recently bought a set 7839 from 1989 advertised as new, however there are about
10 pieces not in packaging. The seller indicated not all peices were packaged
- did lego not put all pieces in pouches back then? The unpackaged peices all
seem random.

This set was released in 1993, and the inventory claims it included a smooth
half bush. This may have been an alternate if the set was sold through 1997 or
later, but I very much doubt it had a smooth bush four years before any other
set. Does anyone have some insight into this? Should it be listed as an alternate?

Hey all!

I'm Jordy, a.k.a. Brickitty. For those whom it may concern, I wanted to make
a post to alert you that I'll be pretty active in adding stickered parts
to the catalog and making Inventory Change Requests, (mostly for adding those
stickered parts as Counterparts and for getting rid of Undetermined variant entries),
especially over the next few months.

You may have seen the request I made concerning part 2453 a week or two ago,
and I was inspired by all the work that Turez and paulvdb did to make those changes
and the recent changes on part 4623 Undetermined. I'm currently going through
a large inventory of used parts, likely over 500,000, and I'll be doing my
part to help with the grunt work when I find more entries that could use work
like 2453.

Immediate plans are to make similar Inventory Change Requests for part 44301,
specifically to change all pre-2009 (or pre-2008 to be safe) sets from 44301
Undetermined Groove to 44301a. I have many of those sets in my personal collection,
and the same logic applies that applied with 2453 variants. Also, I have a full
set of stickered parts from sets 76088 and 60141, neither of which have their
stickered counterparts listed in the catalog. I'll take pictures of them
and start the process to add them to the catalog and then as Counterparts for
their sets, after my trial with part 4532pb06 went well the other day.

If there's anything I should know or do differently, please educate me!

Thanks,
-Jordy (Brickitty)

I am making an MOC, with instructions and parts list from Rebrickable.

I have created a want list for the parts, but is there any way to save which
parts I have bought and/or already own?

New to website and lego.

Thanks.

I am not sure if the Wolf Pack minifig #CAS072T inventory is incorrect or if
a new one needs to be added. I am not familiar with this process, so is there
someone that could update it?

Looks like set 6038 has this minifig, but with a red cape.

102 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2003

contains some foam pieces. I'm pondering why these are classisied
as Green. I've just found two sets of foam pieces along with some of the
parts from the sets (which indicate that this set came with two pieces of foam).
The foam appear to be more Bright Green than Green. Some of the foam pieces are
combined with part

Part No: 44512 Name: Plant Vine 26L Bent

which appears in Bright Green in this set, so it
makes sense that the foam was the same color. Should I correct this?

Attached image shows foam, a Green 1x2 brick, a Bright Green apple and Medium
Green 1x1 plate with clip to show the different colors together.

If I use the search options on the right hand side of my inventory and search
for
Catalog name and number : whole field
And put on the key word : 3068bpb1105
Works fine
If I amend to “any part of field” and put in : 3068
It does not work and comes back with zero

Oh actually just had a break through

3068* works .. fairly sure I have never ever had to do this before though .
Especially when I choose any part of field.

Does anyone have a method to track the orders/elements purchased for a Want List.
The goal is to track the elements I still need to purchase for each Want List
MOC, for Orders received what element goes with each Want List MOC and I would
like to track how much each parts costs so I can get a blended amount an MOC
costs. If someone has a spreadsheet approach or a programmatic approach (Python,
etc) or even a manual process any would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I recently took my 8924 set, that I purchased new, down from it's hallowed
position on the shelf for a cleaning with the intention of selling it. Since
it's purchase it has been never been played with or disassembled. It has
been a display model in my Lego room, only touched to dust on occasion. As part
of my preparation for selling the set, it was disassembled and cleaned before
verifying the inventory. During the inventory verification, I saw that three
parts were listed as Flat Silver;

Part No: 59577 Name: Bionicle Hydruka Back Plate
*
59577 Bionicle Hydruka Back Plate
Parts: BIONICLE

Part No: 53566 Name: Bionicle Piraka Leg Upper Section Cover
*
53566 Bionicle Piraka Leg Upper Section Cover
Parts: BIONICLE

Part No: 49423 Name: Bionicle Toa Metru Chest Cover
*
49423 Bionicle Toa Metru Chest Cover
Parts: BIONICLE
However, my set
has these parts in Pearl Light Gray. I did some investigating and noticed that
the parts list in the instruction book, has these parts are grouped/listed among
the Pearl Light Gray parts. Not grouped separately as another color normally
would be. Continuing to look for clarification I visited the "Bricks & Pieces"
section of the LEGO website. Although these parts are not currently available
from LEGO, the Element Id & The Design Number are still viewable. I also, checked
Design Number for part #53566 and LEGO has only offered this part in one silver
color. Viewing the inventory on the LEGO website, LEGO list all the silver related
parts as "Silver" in this set, there are no distinctions. I tried to find an
unboxing video for this set on u-Tube but, I was only able to find a couple of
assembly videos, in which these parts appear Pearl Light Gray. Reviewing the
"Log of Completed Changes", there are several other pieces that were originally
listed as Flat Silver that have been changed to Pearl Light Gray. Based on my
findings,I have the following questions?
1)-Were parts of the original inventory for this set (inadvertently) listed under
the wrong color?
2)-Should I submit an inventory change request for these 3 parts?
3)-Can anyone verify via photo the existence of any of these 3 parts in Flat
Silver (A photo of a side by side comparison would be great!)?
4)-I know that there was a period of time when LEGO changed the shade of their
"Silver", can someone tell me the time frame for the change?
Thanks in advance!

I was putting away some sets yesterday and wanted to make sure I had the correct
minifigs in each set.

I came across this issue:

In the first image you see the popup box when clicking on the set image. It
shows on the side info box that there are 2 minifigs in the set. This is wrong,
there is only one fig, the other fig shown is the alternate.

In the second image is the set info page. Clearly shows only one fig, and if
you scroll down to the set inventory you see that the figs are listed as one
regular and one alternate.

Is there a way to change the pop-up info to show that one is the alternate?
As a well accomplished user I still was "fooled" using the pop-up box for contents
of this set. I worry a newer buyer would/could complain that the used set they
ordered should have two figs.

This is not the only set that this happens to. Thanks for your work on this
important catalog for the LEGO community.

Hi all, How can I request that sets previously marked as 'Cannot be Inventoried'
be unflagged? I was to tackle the Bionicle collectible packs and in a post-CMF
world I think Bricklink has the ability to record the various possible contents.
Thanks!

Hi, I'm new here and cannot find anything about an inventory in the interface.
Is it a feature only available to sellers?

If so, can I upgrade to a seller status without my inventory visible to buyers?
I would like to manage my inventory only for personal purpose.

Thanks for your help.

Anything sensible to say about the use of 3003pb008 versus 3003px3? I have quit
a few sets with exactly the opposite of the inventory on BL and there are not
a lot alternates. So any wisdom will be appreciated when shared.

O by the way, why is one with pb and the other with px?
