I've been curious about this 86368 piece, as it's listed as a minidoll
hair, although it has only been used twice, and once on a minifigure.

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=86368#T=C

It appears to me it is just a new mold for the same piece, 20595, used in the
CMF banshee, Elaine Benes in Seinfeld, and others.

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=20595#T=C

I just got my hands on both, and they appear to be identical. The images of
each model appear different, but I think they just are "shot" from a slightly
different angle/difference. Those differences are not present in the actual
pieces.

Could you share comparative photos of both?

Is there a way to link these pieces, as is done for minifigure heads (closed,
blocked, hollow stud), or ideally could these be merged, with multiple design
IDs, similarly to how solid color and trans color pieces are merged when they
have different design IDs?

If I'm not mistaken, but BL also collects the 15% VAT from Venezuelian buyers.

Haven’t seen any info about it.  No anouncement.  Nothing in the Help pages (I
even checked before posting).  Another marketplace maybe?

Only info on next countries is about Canada and all the info we had can be summarized
as “soon.”

I really don't know where I've got this info from... let me check...

Mmmmh strange, can't find anything about this.
In fact it seems to be 16%.

Maybe it was written once and the page had been updated?
Help pages don't have a date picker to see the previous versions.
I don't know, but I'll search a bit more.

I don't think I remember such a thing talked here, just you the other day,
but I thought you were joking...

  Hi everyone,

I'm very new to BrickLink as was a hobby thought id start selling on here,
listed £2.3k worth of items yesterday only to login to see that I'm down
to £1.9k without selling anything it seems random parts have been taken down?

I'm finding this extremely annoying as spent hours yesterday sorting and
listing and now I don't know what is listed and what isn't.

If you know anything at all please let me know.

Many thanks, James

The daily changing xe.com currency conversion can show a different value.

The Site uses current exchange rates from XE.com to convert prices between the
below currencies. Exchange rates on the Site are downloaded from XE.com once
per day. Exchange rates provided by XE.com contain the rates and inverted rates
for the US Dollar as the base currency (ex. 1 USD = ? EUR and 1 EUR = ? USD).
Rates which do not include the US Dollar (ex. 1 EUR = ? GBP) are calculated using
a cross rate (ex. USD to GBP rate divided by USD to EUR rate). Rates contain
up to 10 decimals. The exchange rates on the XE.com website are updated more
frequently and thus the exchange rate on the XE.com website may not match the
exchange rate currently in effect on the Site. If the system fails to download
the most recent exchange rate, the most recent exchange rate in the system is
used.

His prices are in GBP so the total in GBP should not change if the exchange exchange
rate fluctuates.

And the difference is about 20%, so this has clearly nothing to do with currency
fluctuations.

Its not to do with money, I had a look and I'm missing quite a few figures?
is it a glitch, or do they take items down?

If BrickLink Admins deleted any lot form your store you should have received
an email for each, check your spam folder too.

Keep in mind minifigures need to be listed complete, if they are missing one
or more parts they can't be listed as a whole.

Check also your stockroom in case you listed the minifigs but changed them to
0qty or something like that.

I think you need to pay back the money first, or set the status to "Pending".

Once an order in in Paid or Packed, you can't put it into pending, unless
there is something I am missing?

Try to change the payment status to Returned and update the refund inside the
order before.

Have you tried leaving the comment blank? or trying later? Is the order with
US TAX or UK VAT? You might need to do the refund with the system BL has inside
the order to be able to cancel.

I think he means the difference is that in the second the difference is a 2x2

Also these share the same controller within the sets they appear.

Open the Wanted List you created from parting out a set and click the button
Apply Order, then select your order once to apply that qty bought to the Have

Purchased this ten years ago and can confirm that this set has the hollow stud variant.

Do you still have the box and can you give us the barcode?

Diana

Unfortunately, I do not have the box anymore. I did find these elsewhere:

UPC Barcode: 673419165648
EAN Barcode: 5702014831322

Thanks, but I can't do much with these numbers. The barcode could have given
us info about the time your set was produced. I asked about it, because it could
be the set came with the A-version first. So for a possible future change request
to add 4532a, we would already have your info for 4532b.

However...
4532a in lime was confirmed in a 2013 Friends Set and 4532b Lime is in a 2012
Friends Set.
Set 9457 was sold in 2012 only. So are you absolutely sure that this part is
not switched, but came in the set with Hollow Studs when you bought it?

Diana

Hello Diana,

I think you mean Factory Production Codes instead of Barcodes as it means something
different.

Here are a couple examples from 62Bricks (Don I think)

When Jon (axaday) submitted it under blue he said the back is actually yellow,

I honestly don't know what to do right now. Maybe we should list it under

I am shown "Seller does not support orders shipping to Germany." on store

I'm asking, because...
- In the very recent feedback of the store I can see successful transactions

(multiple Bundesländer).
- The store is located in the Netherlands.
- Its Terms list shipping costs to Germany explicitely, via DHL.
- I recently changed my BL address to Germany (one day ago), as I live close
to Germany, to get better shipping rates.

Does anybody know the reason why I'm "blocked" to order from BRICKBYBRICKEU?
Any help appreciated.

The store: https://store.bricklink.com/BRICKBYBRICKEU#/terms

This is strange, in their profile I see the green square before the store name,
but inside the store below the name next to the country flag it says "Does Not
Ship To Me".

Also the message "Seller does not support orders shipping to Spain." appears
on top left and on the cart page, and global cart. But you can see it selects
the Dhl shipping method and with shipping costs shown, him also accepts PayPal
Onsite for international orders.

So... I don't know why it appears but there is happening something.

This might be related to the seller having activated the OSS setting but without
activating the VAT setting.

But this store is the same but shows no warning message:

I don't know if possible through BrickLink, but if you use this tool you
can import your wanted list and see the totals:

There is a report function:

Or use Problem at the bottom of the page then Forum.

The downside of an easy to click button is that some people report anything they

I know there's a report function, but it's too much hassle! Would Mods
really get too many reports? It's usually pretty good here.

You can also send us a message through the BL contact form it will get to all

They do appear to be identical...

I've taken the sticker sheet, cut out the two stickers and placed them side

Indeed, as they are on a flat tile 2x2 it can be rotated, seems these should

   I don't
see how parts in a cardboard sleeve are in any way different than luggabeast
from set 75148. All the parts for Luggabeast are still listed in the main set
inventory. There's no stickers, so "Parts which are either assembled from
or permanently changed from parts in the Regular Items section" wouldn't
include that either, but here we are.

Part No: spa0014 Name: Luggabeast - Set 75148 - Brick Built
*
spa0014 (Inv) Luggabeast - Set 75148 - Brick Built
Parts: Special Assembly

The luggabeast is an item assembled from parts in the regular items section,
i.e. it meets the current rules perfectly.
(However, those large assemblies were added as an experiment back in 2018. We
don't add similar assemblies anymore nowadays.)

Set 6264 has

Part No: 6029 Name: Minifigure, Plume Wheel Sprue Complete, 2 Cattle Horns and Feathered Headdress
*
6029 (Inv) Minifigure, Plume Wheel Sprue Complete, 2 Cattle Horns and Feathered Headdress
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear Accessory

listed in the parts, but it only came with 1. One of the horns is part of the
set (and listed in the main part list), but the other two parts of the sprue
are used for the minifigures. That probably needs to be corrected,

Yes, that's a flaw of the current inventory system. We wish we had an option
to list minifigures similar to counterparts. Then, all of the minifigure parts
would just be listed as single parts in the inventory along with the correct
number of sprues.

The option is there, it is possible to add minifigs to the counterpart section
and the parts to the main inventory. The problem is with the part out set option
and the minifig view page?

  but I feel
like parts on a sprue are no different that cloth in a sleeve.

See my other answer. A complete sprue is counted and listed in the official parts
lists as one part. That's not the case for cardboard sleeves - they are just
a packaging, and the parts that come in the sleeve are the actual parts that
are listed in official parts lists.

  At bare minimum
there should be some indication on the set page that the set originally came
that way.

Certain parts, like cloth parts, strings, and rubber bands, always come in cardboard
sleeves nowadays. I don't see why it would be necessary to indicate that
anywhere.
If you need to know which and how many cardboard sleeves are included in a certain
set, I'd suggest searching on Youtube for unboxing and building videos.

The only situation I can understand not listing the sleeve is if the number on
the sleeve isn't unique to the parts and colors inside AND the parts inside
can't be determined by not opening the sleeve (like seeing through the holes
in the box).

description of the used sets I'm selling, are no longer shown in the Extended

is shown.

The code I use, is as described in the "Basic Guide to HTML"in the Bricklink
Help Center Section (which I have been using since 2012).

The only difference is that I rather use JPEG than PNG (but like I wrote it worked
for the last 10 years, so this should not be an issue).

Right clicking the rectangle and selecting "open image in a new tab" shows the
picture in a new tab, so there is not a connection problem to/with the external
hosting website.

Thought it could be something to do with the "Wide" statement, because I use
standard 640 x 400 (where the image sizes changed over the years 640 - 800 -
1280). But I've tested this as well, no "Wide" statement, the "wrong" measurements
and the "right" measurements. The only thing changed as a result of this, was
the size of the rectangle!

I searched this forum, but could not find any clues on this issue, so if there's
someone who could let me know what happened... (or a solution)!

Thanks in advance,
Peter

If you look at the French and Spanish statements from the instructions:
French Wapiti = Elk (maybe they should have used le cerf instead of wapiti)
Spanish Ciervo = Deer

"The mighty Elk shield" does sound better than "The mighty Deer shield".

I would say it's a Cervus elaphus (Red Deer)

Yeah in Spanish that would be this case.

That being said, all elk are deer, not all deer are elk.

All this might be a translation issue probably from Danish to English.

Happy birthday and better health to you. Thank you

If you want to sell your shop, you may leave it open but set a min buy equal
to its overall value (or the min value you want for it all).
This way, prospective buyers can see what you have should have thought of that yes will do oh how do I stop orders

Happy Birthday!

You can prevent orders with the shop open if you put a very high amount as the
minimum order value.

Never seen anything like it in my 17 years on the site. How can an order end
up with negative quantities posted back into my inventory? (See image)

I have stock of all the parts ordered, but the negatives are really sold out
and should show 0. The lots in the inventory clearly show negative inputs when
clicked on. All lots appear to have been double subtracted when the order was
placed. (ie. instead of 100 1x1 bricks, 200 were removed; instead of 20 bamboo
leaves, 40 were removed causing -19; etc.)

If this is an error that is possible, how am I expected to catch the system mistakes
unless a buyer buys at least more than half of a listed lot? As quantity is
thus dropped that should still be posted still for sale.

To the best of my knowledge this is the only order it happened with, but I really
wonder if this is tied in part of the years-running "gremlin" of lots that had
weird quantity adjustments. Lots that you later find tons left but none listed
that make no sense, and likewise lots reposing that you know sold out months
or years earlier.

Would really be nice to know there is a system check in place to double check
the inventory quantity pre-order and post-order, to ensure this cannot happen.
It cannot be to hard to log and compare both numbers versus the quantity in
the order to add a safety and keep posted inventory accurate for buyers. If
the system can double deduct, it would imply the system can fail to deduct too,
both of which will can can cause havoc for sellers and buyers alike.

Regards,
Jonathan

P.S. The order is #19823229 for when the support team is going to look into this.
I will leave the sold out lots (now negative lots) unchanged for the time being,
but will correct anything I have more quantity of on hand. Happy to chat if
you need any info on my end beyond looking into the system logs to see how this
hapened.

Can you not modify anything manually and check the lots (negative and positive
ones) tomorrow after daily maintenance to see if anything is corrected automatically?

Have you anything stuck at In Progress (X)?

If you take PayPal’s point of view, if BL allows its sellers to use & advertize

If that happens, BL has so no way to get their fees anymore, and no PayPal Marketplace

I have noticed the disappearing of a few lots in the store of used parts earlier
but I then decided I might have made an error when I created them.

I'm not detecting lots or quantities disappearing, but a couple of time I
detected created lots or additional quantities (in short, BL "inventing" an extra
inventory).

I couldn't believe it happen, but had full clear proofs.
I didn't report it, it's a lost cause, sorry BL

But the ONLY way to be sure is to either use BrickStore and download and SAVE
your whole inventory every day, or download your Inventory from BrickLink as
an XML, in the Inventory/Dowload page.

Otherwise it's just guessing, and 99% of the times it's probably
your fault.
Or a part renaming thing in Catalog.
Or a transaction that just happens and hides part of your inventory for 10 minutes,
or up to the next day.

So - just have a copy of your Inventory (BSX or XML) - every day - that you can
compare to.
Then report with exact proofs.

I'm sure there are some issues with the database server side.

I definitely have cases where I count incorrectly, and list incorrectly, but
I am 100% positive that BLs internal database management causes issues.

Last week I added two of a part (new lot) next day I sold 4. I still had the
uploaded file and my store inventory open in Brickstore on my PC at this point,
I'm 100% sure I only uploaded 2 and had none beforehand.

Have you checked the rest of the lots of that upload?

Any idea where the link should be on the order page? Because I really don’t see

It is a Link like this one:

https://www.bricklink.com/_file/orders/vat_invoice.file?oid=19673110&type=I

it only appears after the order is Paid with PayPal Onsite or Stripe Onsite.
If the so you can try changing the order ID in this link and see what you get.

Ah, ok thanks. Looks obvious.
This is what I get. No link there.

The text is different, could you share the postal code and city of the address?

Have you checked it was paid onsite?

Yeah, I think that's the problem, he didn't pay onsite.
He paid directly on PayPal.

Then you would need to refund the payment and tell the buyer to pay using the
button on Bricklink

is a broken link and should be changed to https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=50903

Note to forum discussion admin, feel free to move this if it should be in a different
topic.

I have changed this part number back. We are now trying to keep the original
part numbers as primary, exactly for reasons such as this:

Part No: x1307 Name: Bionicle Gear 8 Tooth with Rhotuka Spinner Rod 2.5L
*
x1307 Bionicle Gear 8 Tooth with Rhotuka Spinner Rod 2.5L
Parts: BIONICLE

It is understandable with most parts as they have old Design IDs and now come
with different alternate IDs, but there is a minority of parts like this one
that start with x* that Peeron used while unknown ID and bb* from BL, those would
benefit from being correctly designated in the LEGO® catalog.

These changes would affect just a few links here and there, maybe BL could update
redirect links to parts entries when it is an alternate ID in the URL query,
same for XML/io/bsx imports.

BTW... then someone needs to cancel 45 change requests I have pending...

Just my thoughts,
Sergio

und eine Alternative kann ich nicht finden.

Das selbe Makro und damit inkl. Zustandsangabe wird übrigens auch für die "Purchase

Hm ...
Bei BrickLink das Template so konfigurieren, dass dies nur eine "Proforma-Rechnung"
ist und dem Kunden selbst die richtige Rechnung im gewünschten Format zusenden?

I don't think the condition of the items can be removed, but you sure can
add the word "Proforma" at the beginning of the template.

They do include reserved items, but the items are reserved for the person sending
the quote request. Could that be why? Otherwise, I can't see why these requests
get canceled the second the buyer sends them.

/Karina

If the items are reserved, then the quote will get cancelled. Even if it's
the same buyer.
You have to take the items out of reserve for the quote to not get cancelled.
I don't know why it happens this way, maybe someone else can give an explanation.

Seems a tricky logic on the BL side, have you reported the bug to the Help Desk?

https://helpdesk.bricklink.com/Main/

PD: Careful when sending quotes as the cancel quote button is just besides the
send quote button.

Would be great to be able to create a wish list of multiple sets and then brick
out the wishlist with a single click before going to the store.

When trying to add multiple sets into one wishlist for better optimization around
shipping and stores if I don't purchase the bricks at that moment it's
easy to forget what sets were bricked out into that wishlist.

Apologies if this feature does exist and I have missed it but unable to find
any reference to it

Hmm, okay, so I’ll try and rephrase to be sure I understood correctly:

1. So you seem to have found the part out feature ( https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/partout.page
).

2. You’re parting out multiple sets into one WL.

3. When you buy (or search) for this unique WL, you don’t know anymore for which
set each part is.

Well, there’s not many solutions with only one WL.  The only one is to put a
remark for each lot, something like “3x for 1234-1, 2x for 1235-1”, and that
have to be done manually, lot by lot.

But there’s a simpler solution: use one WL per set.  Name the WL after the set.
And then you can buy/search multiple WLs together (just check/uncheck the boxes
on the left of the Buy page https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/buy.page or on
the left of a store).

There’s a few inconveniences with multiples WLs, for instance with Apply Order
(it doesn’t remember if an order has already been applied), but that helps organize
your stuff

Meanwhile this can be easily done with BrickStore:

  Hi all,

I am currently sorting a huge lot of used parts I recently bought and, like always
at first, most of my attention is focused on eliminating "fake" or not genuine
:LEGO parts...

And as you all know some real LEGO parts do not bear any logo or copyright especially
old ones. But then I stumbled on those two 36036 (Lower Body, Skirt) that I never
noticed seem to be totally "trademarkless" (see photos)

Considering that first those parts are pretty recent (2018-today) and second
that they were on minifigs containing all other genuine parts (torso, head, hair,
headgear... have logos) I am pretty much sure they're real and surprised
they're not "trademarked".

So my question is : could anyone having the minifigures hp190 (Dumbledore) and
hp187 (Fleur Delacour, Dress) for example and out off a real sealed set could
confirm that this part 36036 is to be added to my list of "yeah I know no logo
but still real"..?

Have a nice day/night all of you, depending where you are, love BrickLink and
the knowledge and expertise you can find in those forums...

I have those figs, the logo and the ID are on the inside viewing from the bottom.

I think this happens if the buyer tries to place the order but has problems paying,
the system moves the items to the Stockroom and when payment is complete they
are returned to stock and then removed the qtys. Check the lots of that order
that are not negative as the system might have removed the qty 3 times too.

I kept trying, because I just wanted it to work and suddenly it did.
I paid at the exact moment, the seller made some adjustments, so his message
crossed my payment.

For future errors:
Settings were changed from accepting payments in foreign currencies to accepting
foreign currencies and automatically convert them

Strange, but it worked.

Isn’t there another setting for the PayPal account to be able to ‘store’ foreign
currencies?

Yes.

I mean, just accepting foreign currencies may not be enough if the account can’t
hold them.

At least with manually paying there is a tricky logic in PayPal, you can initiate
a payment in EUR to an account that only takes CHF and it will tell you that
the amount will be converted, but I remember there is a step to force send the
payment in your currency and an email will get to the seller asking what he wants
to do with the payment, convert and accept, open a currency and accept or decline
the payment.

And if the account can only hold CHF, then you need to convert foreign currencies
before the payments can go on the account.

With onsite I thought it was what was supposed to happen.

Just a thought….

In the past I accepted EUR, USD and GBP and had the setting to autoconvert the
rest to EUR. But it was an accounting nightmare so I now autoconvert all to EUR.

So he is wrong ?

The rolling 12 months is to make an educate guess if you will surpass the 10.000
threshold in a calendar year that is what counts legally.

As far as I have read it is the total amount you sell B2C without VAT, that includes
shipping, additional charges, etc.

Any idea, someone?

Tried this morning with instant checkout twice. Tried to pay just now with the
pay button, same error.

I have to pay VAT for the seller is situated in Switzerland, so I HAVE to pay
with PayPal Onsite right? I received PayPal payment myself today, so it's
not a general problem and the order and payment status are looking just fine.

Finally it worked. No idea what was going on, but it took 7 hours to be able
to confirm PayPal payment.

Did you have enough funds in your PayPal balance to pay the full amount this
morning?

I think it sometimes gives error if the balance is smaller, but it works if it
is 0 and just takes it from your bank.

No prob! I searched for "Ghost Ninja" and I found it under another subtheme

Additionally, you can use the "color guide" to search as well. Here it is broken
down by color and then you can use the category "Minifigure, Torso Assembly,
Decor.".

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp

It's quick yeah.

Steps:
Market https://www.bricklink.com/catalog.asp
Color Guide https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp (You can just Hover over
the Market Icon to access this link)
Dark Purple Parts https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&colorPart=89&v=3
Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catID=1097&catXrefLevel=0&colorPart=89&catType=P
Then put this in the little search on the top left:

It gets you the part directly in this case, for others it shortens the results
to just a few.
"dark blue arms", "dark purple hands"

He may have asked for this, but did you go through with it? If so, then you willingly
breached paypals terms.

And also the buyer is located in USA where BrickLink has to collect Sales Tax
on all orders with only PayPal Onsite or Stripe.

So in case this was not only a fluke for me, please make sure you don't have
any empty orders from Bricksync. No idea if this issue lies with the software
or BL.

See part of log below, this order was on July 12th, times are EST. Order contained
132 parts in 22 lots. A simple Blmaster on/off resolved this issue.

00:27:14 DEBUG: Queue query to fetch BrickLink order #19579446.

of 0.00 USD, order status is PAID.

00:27:14 INFO: Tracked inventory adjusted for BrickLink Order #19579446.
00:27:14 INFO: No update required for BrickOwl, we have a perfect inventory match.

I searched for "0 items in 0 lots," in the logs and nothing shows up so all should
be fine.

I remember that some people got BL orders with 0 lots, so it is strange that
you don't have 2 orders one okay and the other empty. As time passed since
those comments maybe the fix BL did is check if and order with 0 lots is created
then edit it instead of creating another one and leaving the empty one too. And
so that's why BS got yours empty.

You could have tried to change the status of the order and use the check command
as in theory it checks in the inventory of the order changed.

There a USA flag next to the buyer on my order page, but shipping address has
China as country. This should be impossible and can give big problems if shipping
costs are not the same and calculated for the wrong country.

Please fix asap!

Diana

I don't think this is a bug. I've had out-of-country buyers use a USA
address before. If I click on their profile, it'll show their country's
flag, but the order shows a USA flag. The shipping charge always gets charged
accurately.

Yeah, thus happens when they change their address, place an order, then change
it again.

Thank you for the replies. In the meantime the flag changed to the Chinese Flag.
I will try not to worry reading it doesn't affect shipping charges. But I
don't understand how it's possible, for I was always told that members
can change their address within their country only. Country couldn't be changed.

I never read about changes that it is possible now to change your address to
another country.

I do worry though when a country is changed and at the same time the address
isn't copied to PayPal (like happened last week).

As far as I know you could always, but you have to change it in your profile,
you can't change the country in the step of the checkout that lets you edit
your address before placing the order.

The flag shown in the Orders received page is the one user has set at the time
you see it. Maybe a good suggestion to make is to show the flag of the country
the order is going to instead.

I use the Pin icon colors to differentiate where orders are going by having multiple
shipping methods.

I think you might need to contact the Admins through the Help Desk for they to
change it back.

But I would just contact the buyer and say that you did that by mistake and will
let him know when the order is shipped by message.

Also I would recommend activate this setting (that is not on the seller settings
page its on buyer settings...)

One of the shipping methods we use has a maximum of 90cm for all three dimensions
added together.

If we set up a package restriction for total dimension for 90cm will does it
work on each single item on its own or will it add the dimensions of each item
to the package?

I'm assuming that it will do each item on its own but want to avoid it restricting
someone from using instant checkout on a bunch of 2x4 bricks because the total
dimensions of their 3000 bricks is more than 90cm...

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I think that it adds each item dimensions, but not in a line, it creates a volumetric
cube.

90 cm total dimensions I think would be around 4212 bricks, but someone can do
the math better for sure.

PS, and I just read and confirm what's in your PDF:

This is due to the EU legal requirements stating that professional sellers must
charge the buyers local VAT if their annual combined EU B2C sales exceed 10K
EUR
.

Problem is, you accounted our B2B sales.

Indeed the calculation BrickLink makes should only count B2C. This can easily
be done because the data is there. But I think it is not shown in the Excel download,
whether the order had VAT enabled or not, I know that in the XML it does have
a field.

  Hi all,

last year July 1st, the new european guidelines were implemented for selling
online.

Our shop aims to stay below the 10.000 euro treshold, as we run our shop as a
hobby, not a business! We sell at Bricklink to pay for our hobby in a way. Like
a lot of us do.

The only tool that is provided by Bricklink is "download my orders"

The 10.000 euro is based on sales from new parts or sets, outside your own country,
but within Europe.

10.000€ (VAT excluded) of total sales to the rest of EU countries, independent
of the condition or item type.

As you can see on the picture, I can select all sales from outside The Netherlands......
but not "only within Europe", so when I run the total, all orders from outside
Europe are still added to the calculation.

Also, when used parts are sold within the order, they should not be calculated
as well! How to exclude those from the total??

They count for the threshold for most, you might have confused with the business
that use the VAT Margin Scheme, those are the only ones needing to differentiate.

Please add the option in "Exclude" to select "Orders outside the European Union"
Please add the option in "Exclude" to select "used parts or sets"

Right now, all order details will be purged from the Bricklink system after 6
months, so it's impossible to get detailed info about "new/used" or "outside
the EU" afterwards.

There are different Software out there that helps you with keeping track of these
details.

Hopefully Bricklink will provide us with the right tools to be able to stay under
the 10.000 euro treshold.

Also, what is considered Europe? The countries that are within the EEA, or all
countries that are withing Europe?

Search for list of countries in the EU. Sorry I can't look for a good link
now.

For example Russia is within Europe according to the list on:

https://www.countries-ofthe-world.com/countries-of-europe.html

Please help

kind regards

Another question would be why are German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch
language posts allowed in the regular topics and not get moved to the specific
language topics? There are specific topics for questions and discussion in these
languages, so anything not in the site language (English) should be posted there.
That way, anyone that cannot speak one or more of those languages can turn off
all posts made in one of those languages as they are not accessible to them.

A good solution for being able to ignore threads would be to have an ignore this
whole thread button. Sometimes I want to see what is in Sales or Suggestions
or Off Topic, but be able to hide individual threads from within those topics
when they get out of hand.

For example, this one is nothing to do with the Bricklink Catalog, but is posted
within the Catalog topic.

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1350424

There should either be a way to report it as off topic (there is no such reason
in the problem centre) to have it moved or better still be allowed to hide it
and all replies at the click of a button. The only current way to hide it is
to hide all threads started by that user.

You can message any of the Mods as it gets to all if selected with the link to
the message if you feel it better suits topic X instead. The report does the
same, adds the link automatically and a copy of the post itself.

So my question is, how does this happen, can a buyer change this?
I did not think so, luckily I saved the original order or I would have doubted

Thanks for any help,

You have a Shipping Method named Insured and with the description Insured
and with tracking

But are you sure you have the settings in it correctly put to always have the
insurance and tracking boxes ticked?

Attached screenshot with dummy data.

I have my invoice templates changed to include the shipping method name.

add % for paypal
0,50€ for order smaller than 10€

It's possible ?

You need to create 2 shipping methods, one for orders up to 10€ and another for
orders of at least 10€ then in the shipping prices you put the amount with the
0.50€ included and then on the fees you can add the % one.

But check your country PayPal terms, as charging a fee just on their payment
method might not be allowed.
