That is a really good way of holding your stickers!! I especially like the fact

to check into doing it that way.

Yeah, so that scammers like this guy can prosperate.
Sorry sir, you are totally entitled to have your own opinion, but you don't
understand that bricklink is also a social network (here we have also the picture
collage, the MOC area, and so on).
I personally think, if you compare Bricklink to Ebay, that though you've
been here for 20 years, you don't understand the goal that Dan Jezek created
this for.
|
If he is a scammer then why dose he only have on negative feedback (you left)
and one neutral (from the other store who did not refund shipping but still has
26 positive. If he was a scammer then he would have allot more negatives then
one.
Plus, take a look at the feedback you have posted for ALLOT of people claiming
that they are also scammers, uncooperative, rude, etc, etc. Yet allot of them
have great feedbacks except for the one negative you left for each of them. It
appears that quite often when a problem arises between you and a customer you
have a tendency to push all the blame on the customer by accusing them of being
scammers and such.

While sorting, I’m sure we all come across bricks That have had a hard life or
have had a challenging journey. This time I’m erring towards this brick actually
coming from the factory as a dual colour brick rather than it being bleached
or something
What do you think ?
Cheers
|
The line between the colours looks very straight compared to most marbled bricks
I have seen. It might be genuinely produced that way, or it could have been that
the surface of this brick was partially immersed in something that has bleached
the colour. There seems to be a chip on the lighter side on the bottom that is
the darker of the two colours under the surface.
|
I onetime found a 1x6 plate in set that was half light bluish gray and half dark
bluish gray. The colors were split straight down the middle of the plate so I
think there is a good chance that this is a type of marbled brick.

| Isn't this kind of a double standard? You left negative feedbacks as a customer
for not getting back shipping cost when parts were missing.
Case in point where you left a negative:
You - Missing minifigures, unmannered and unfair attitude, worst experience ever.
Shop - Reply: Wanted shipping cost back, Paypal decided for me, now she is angry!
You - Follow-Up: She admitted her mistake, but she didn't provide a reasonable
refund!
Also you said that the customer was "The last message he wrote me, as you
can see, is something that should NOT be tolerable on this platform. Though what
he says, I have never ever insulted a bricklink user in my life, I have never
told a single lie, and being insulted this way is something that should never
be accepted here."
I dont see it. He seems very professional. What did he say that "that should
NOT be tolerable on this platform"?
Also, you stated that "This user, you can look within his feedbacks, is at
his second attempt to get money from sellers for factitious reasons."
The comment he left for the other seller just states " Missing part of an
important lot bc out of stock. Refunded missing pieces." It appears that
by looking at the sellers feedbacks in this case that he also dose not like to
refund shipping.
This metaspeed has left one negative and one neutral for missing pieces out
of 28 orders. This is not a pattern. The way it appears to me is that he is just
a customer that reasonably wants at least half of the shipping refunded when
stores dont send a full order.

AFAIK, there’s no sales tax in Oregon (or, at least, no obligation for BL to
collect it).

Yes correct, what I mean is, when it's a state that does collect, does it
fill in automatically or will I need to manually calculate it?

Yes, BLAutomatically fills in the tax needed to be collected.

Duh, from Lego.
Just kidding. Actually your question made me wonder what service packs were.
On reddit I found that they were, as one person stated, "Depends on the
era, but those sets were featured in the back of larger sized catalogs, LEGO
Shop at Home, LEGO Service catalogs, and if you were in Europe during the early
years toy stores would sell them directly."
Another stated. "You used to get leaflets in the backs of catalogues or
maybe the sets too and you could fill out a form, send it off with a cheque,
and wait a few weeks to receive your cool stuff."
I am sure others here could explain in more detail.

Is it a sticker? If so then maybe it is a sticker that is supposed to be put

| When I was a kid I played with Lego but that was back in the late 60's
early 70's when themes were not that prevalent and there wasn't much
of a variety of pieces so I just remember having Lego bricks in general and after
many years of not playing with them they just stayed in the past. Then about
15 years ago I had a friend that while being in his late 20's still loved
Lego. His appreciation of Lego would cause me to every once
in a while to stroll down the Lego isle at the local Walmart store and I eventually
decided to give Lego a try and bought this set:
I was surprised at the tolerances used in the making of the pieces, the way doors
would pass by other pieces soo smoothly without catching on other pieces. Unlike
almost all other plastic toys, Lego seemed to care about quality. Another thing
that I really appreciated was how relaxing I found it to be to just sit down
after work and build part of a set while listening to music or watching a video.
I really enjoyed that.

| | Does it even really need the customer to approve the change? If so why?
|
In answer to at least this one question is that it is very important for the
customer to be involved in the process of changing quantities of parts in their
order. Imagine a customer places an order for a build but as the store is filling
the order he realizes that he is 4 short of one part, 3 short of another and
20 short of yet still another. If the store can just change the qty of what is
ordered without the customers approval then the customer's order will be
all screwed up.
This is just one example. There is certainly room for improvement but the customer
should always be part of any qty change in the orders they place.

| Like others have stated, chargebacks just dont happen very often. Out of all
the sales we have had over the past decade we have had only a few customers file
a chargeback with PayPal and all but one we went ahead and gave a full refund
before PayPal even made a decision because it was obvious by looking at the tracking
info that the order was most likely lost in the mail. The one we did dispute
we won.
Even if the few we had were just people trying to get an order for free, it is
still a small price to pay when you compare that the ratio of orders going bad
verses orders being completed where all ends well is probably one bad for every
3000 good.
With all that being said, I can still appreciate your concern. I still will fret
sometimes when we get an order for high dollar set from a new buyer but we have
yet to have any larger order go bad or get lost in the mail. And when it comes
to first time buyers, we have never had a problem yet.
If I do fill the occasional order where I feel a little apprehensiveness about
the order then I just pay a little extra and buy insurance.
