The problem is consistency. If Jek-14 and Ezra Bridger are both listed with 'a'
variants due to one having a helmet and the other having hair, then Poe should
also follow suit. This is why the change was requested.

If, as suggested by Graeme above, the letter suffix would only be applied to
variants found within the same set then both of those examples are also invalid.

The first instance of the minifigure assembly within the instructions is a good
standard that clearly allows for a definition of a new minifig variant.

At the same time we are now counting stickered bricks as a minifigure.. this
makes even less sense in my opinion.

Best,
Kevin

Minifigure is included in set 75149 and comes with helmet and hair piece.
In the past we often had Minifigures that had both helmet and hair piece but
they were only listed once in the catalog e.g. sw0416, sw0772, sw0407 ...
Why is Poe now listed twice as sw0737 with hair and as sw0737a with helmet?

The left ones are LBG, the middle and right ones are LG.

I have decided to sell the LBGs as "soft" and the other ones as "undetermined".
Problem solved.

Also, these helmet/hair variants are just crazy....
sw0737 even comes with a helmet in the set, it’s just not shown wearing it on
the instructions.
The new entry should be labelled as without hair.

Same goes for the Jek-14 fig sw0475a, it’s the same fig as sw0475 just without
hair.

The rules need to be reviewed for figs that have either helmet or hair, or indeed
both.

In Catalog, grimsbricksuk writes:
It’s my opinion that this new version of Poe should be sw1144, as it’s not a
variant of sw0737 (although they’re the same). A variant with ‘a’ on the end
suggests it could come from the same set, which this does not.
I tried submitting a change request to sw1144 but that was pending for the upcoming
Blue Milk Luke fig (my submission), which I have now changed to sw1146, making
sw1144 available again for randyf to amend his change request, should he wish.
I noticed the fig was originally added under sw1144 but was then changed, this
is wrong imo.

Looks like it is Hufflepuff Quidditch player Cedric Diggory:

Publishers release date is 1 June 2021, so probably won't be in the BL catalogue

Seems that I do not remember correctly. I found a couple of old ones in my collection
that are clearly plastic as well.

all sets after 2003 are soft
all sets before 1997 are normal

they all seems normal to my eys

data:
soft = can sustain MORE than 600g
normal = can sustain LESS than 550g
yo, soft can hold more.
