Hello, I am new to the store and have never shipped anything before, so I have
some questions about these practices.
1) Should I be using USPS Ground Advantage for all large sets? are the price
bands for the shared method accurate?
2) what information about shipping should I give to the buyer and where should
I give it?
3) is there anything else I should consider about selling and shipping?
4) I don't have any government ID and where I am it takes months to set up
an appointment and get one, the closest thing I have is a school ID, is there
anyway I can get my store verified?

You need to be at least 18 years old to buy or sell on BrickLink.

Just that stuff should be packed well and that shipping is at the sellers risk
not the buyers so if it gets damaged or lost you have to refund. Insurance and
tracking are for the seller not buyer
If that package gets lost or stolen its the shipper's responsibility.

Be careful if you have instant checkout with shipping. If its not set up correctly
you might only get $5 in shipping for something that might cost $35 to ship and
you can't go back and charge more without risking negative feedback.
Setting up shipping was the most difficult part and I still have had to tweak
it a few times to get the instant checkout to charge the right amount for the
larger sets that cost $30-40 to ship.
Watch some youtube videos (there are many) and just be sure you feel 100% confident
before you open your store.
Good luck!

Read the Terms and feedback of other sellers to learn from experienced sellers.
Buy from numerous sellers so that you have the knowledge from the buyer’s side
of things. Use manual invoicing for larger sets so that you don’t lose money
on shipping the non-standard sized boxes. The learning curve for being a seller
is much steeper than many realize. Good luck!
