Hi, I have noticed that when you look at a set inventory via Bricklink they sometimes
list extra pieces. I have several boxed sets that didn't come with extra
pieces so I'm not sure where they are getting that information. I feel like
I then need to go through my inventory and see if I have any of the listed extra
pieces. Anyone else finding this? Thanks!

they are from sealed sets usually from the person who submitted the inventory.
almost every modern lego set has extra parts inside but they are known to vary
by region
