I received an email from BL that several of my listing had been deleted. "Reason:
Item is listed under the wrong catalog entry" was provided but I don't
know what specifically was wrong. I can't seem to find a way to see "deleted"
or "sold" listings anywhere in my store. I'm happy to edit whatever
is necessary, but it looks like I have to completely re-list those items which
is less than ideal. Anyone have any experience with this?

The message doesn't tell you the items or even the lot numbers?

I know what the items are but the reason for them being deleted isn't clear
to me. I'm very new to selling on BL. I want to re-list them but want to
do it correctly so this doesn't happen again.

Okay, I am happy to help! What are they?

I think you should file a support request through the Help Desk, or their portal,
if you can find the link to it.

Cheers ...

Were they sets listed incorrectly or incomplete minifigs? Those are probably
the 2 biggest issues.

It's happening to the broad membership, even the seasoned among us. Don't
take it personally, is my opening advise It's actually an admirable effort
to clean-up the BL listing pages, to the advantage of us all.

I don't begrudge it happening and actually gave me the nudge I too often
need to clean things up, inventory-wise in this case

That said, I do understand your concern and do believe a rethink is warranted
as to how they currently go about the process. That is to say, provide
an easier method to re-list properly within the email notification or onsite.
Especially considering the amount of "uninitiated" that tend to transgress
in this manner.

Just some thoughts

Deleted items are deleted permanently. Sold items have to have the Retain option
selected to be retained in your stockroom.

For deleted items, I have taken to backing up my inventory most every night in
Brick Store, so that I could easily relist the items without having to re-enter
everything again. Just edit the offending content and relist. Makes it so much
easier.

I really wish BL would change how they do this, maybe just move the items to
the stockroom? But, for now, I have found a work around, though I have not had
to use it in a while. It really takes time to learn all that is verboten with
listings.

As mentioned in this thread, you were selling new figures with the description
"Excellent condition! No cracks, scratches or wear." I reckon that is
the reason. This makes it sound like you are passing off used figures using new
as the condition. Why would a new item have cracks, scratches or wear?

Almost every new part that I take out of a new LEGO set has scratches on it.
