| That’s the problem, someone at sometime is going to cry foul, wrong colour, fake
etc.

Yup. I've been saying this for a while now. I did two City Gardens part
outs and the 1x2 trans-blue tiles (plates maybe?) are all packed in the same
bag. Both sets were quite different. I'll get a photo when I get back home.

Wowzers. That is bad quality control right there.

Yea it's... not good. This was one of the first sets I bought specifically
to part out so I was really struggling with how to handle it. It's much
more noticeable when you have them on a light table or in brighter light,
and it's enough that I actually split them in to two lots with a note in
one. Kind of like with the Dark Red (?) tiles.
They could be really handy if you're making a waterfall/creek to give the
water some definition.

| Definitely two different colors...or at least a different shade. Those parts
look textured. I wonder if it's something in the mix that is used to make
the texture that is causing the color shift. But that one slope also looks "sanded"
so it's hard to say.

The texture is a characteristic of the metal mold that the plastic parts are
injection molded in. It has nothing to do with the colors. These parts were unfortunately
just not colored properly. I am noticing this more and more in the transparent
parts since they switched to the new transparent plastic material.

I think MABS tends to give a bluish hue — maybe these slopes mark a return to
the previous trans-light blue color (as in, they finally got the mix dialed in)?
I'm curious how they compare to old PC trans-light blue.

| It is happening in at least 2 of the trans colors with the new plastic formula.
I have seen a yellowing in both the trans light blue as well as the trans clear.
Enough so that the clear looks used and aged. Massive quality control issue.
