| I am working through a very large order (400+ lots) and about 80% done and I
have seven issues already- an extremely high error rate in my store.
All the parts I am missing or am short off are white plates of one type or another.
As all the issues relate to white plates I believe it is not a user error where
I miscounted or recorded wrong drawer number etc. It has to be somehow systems
based.
Any other users have a similar issue? And did you resolve what the cause was?

If you don't:
* work using BrickStore to upload lots, save each file separately, then you can't
verify you didn't make a mistake,
* once per day (for example) the whole content of your shop as an XML downloaded
file...
... then chances are it's an human error - while BrickLink is still possible
it happens, but you've no way to know.

No, I have never actually confirmed an error in my inventory was from any cause
but myself.
If it were me and White plates, I would wonder if I had decided that some were
discolored and set them aside. Or, they could be ones that I had removed for
a personal project and failed to de-inventory.
Good luck with that big order! I have hunted through my sets to scavenge for
missing order pieces many, many times.

| I am familiar with inventory errors of my own making and usually can track back
what I did or when.
But this has me totally confused and the fact that every "missing" part is a
white plate of some sort is too much of a coincidence, I think.
All parts are new.
