| Hello,
I am looking for help printing a set inventory to be used as a checklist for
assembling parts.
Going through the parts list to a set, and printing it, the result is a very
long printout. I can scale this down to reduce the pages but now it's hard
to see and still very long.
Ideally I would like to be able to generate a grid format with part number, picture
(with colour), description and quantity required. Something that would fit on
a couple of sheets of paper.
There’s some other sites with checklists but most seem to be geared for online
checking. While nice for some purposes, this doesn’t help me put a checklist
with a set to I have the confidence it’s complete. It being printable in a reasonable
number of pages is key.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Brickstore possibly? Still was 3 pages with 35 lots. If you take away the image,
it is much smaller, but, admittedly less useful.

Thanks. Tried that too. You can manipulate the fields better but still only
get column instead of grid.

Option 1:
In the print dialog, under [More Settings], there is an option [Format] where
you can choose between Original and Simplified. Try the latter and see if this
helps.
Option 2:
Print to PDF and use a PDF-tool to trim the pages so you'll only see the
image and count. Then combine multiple pages on a page.
Option 3:
Copy the contents of the table to Word or similar and adjust the layout there.
Option 4:
Learn how to use CSS and access the page using your own style sheet.
Option 5:
Use an app that allows you check the items on screen, so you don't need to
print it at all.

I have been experimenting with Rebrickable, but obviously not enough. Here's
what I have been able to figure out, if anyone else is looking to do the same.
"Export parts"
to HTML Grid"
From there printing to PDF by internet browser.
Thanks

| Printer friendly, two pages per sheet and double sided. Also print only the
pages you need usually the last parts in alternative or extra or even the minifigs
aren't needed for inventory.
Now if only I could print it in colour
