| I tried to add an inventory to set TRUBATMOBILE (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=TRUBATMOBILE),
but I received the error "Item Not Found in Catalog."
I suspect this is because the Add Inventory form automatically adds a number
suffix to the set number; and because the set I'm trying to inventory is
named "TRUBATMOBILE" and NOT "TRUBATMOBILE-1," the form can't find it.
Could the set number be changed to TRUBATMOBILE-1, so it's possible to add
inventory and/or edit it?
Thanks!

You cannot add an inventory as it is currently a "gear" set of instructions only.

When you tried to add the inventory, this item was considered a gear item in
the database and not a set. Therefore, you would have had to choose the correct
form for adding an inventory for a gear item. That is why you were receiving
an error message.
I have gone ahead and moved this item in the catalog so that it is now considered
a set.
You can now add an inventory for it using the following form:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvAdd.asp?viewType=S
Cheers,
Randy
