| Does anyone know what happened with the "seller story"? This used to be a article
on the bricklink page where stores could tell the story of how they work, or
how they became a bricklink seller. I found the links in the help pages but these
all ran dead.
Example of a seller story: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/article_view.page?id=1038
Help pages (see bottom): https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2443
Many thanks in Advance.

Your first link works. The second link goes to the help page, but the link there

| haha, that's right. Except it's a link from an existing bricklink page.
So actually not mine.

You could always add it to your about me page: https://www.bricklink.com/pref_me.asp

| Yes, I know. But that doesn´t offer the same promotional functionality as a "spotlight"
page offered by Bricklink in general as I featured in my initial message.
For promotion Bricklink looks at Turn arounds. So stores that are already familiar
with a great audiance are easy to find. But it would be nice to give smaller
stores a chance to present themselves to the audiance (en grow a little on been
giving the chance.)

There are many, many small sellers. Who would be responsible for picking the
small stores to advertise this way, and who would resolve complaints about unfairness
in the selection made? Personally, I think a level playing field is more appropriate,
where any store can advertise whatever information about themselves they want
to and buyers find the stores that they want to deal with through stock availability,
checking feedback, etc.

It could be tied to parting out sets or otherwise making additions to the catalogue

Some of those people are so busy I'm surprised they have time to run stores!
And even worse if they get more orders on the back of it.
That said, I wonder if any featured stores in those stories get an increase in
orders. I can't say I ever paid much attention to them. Availability and
price of their stock is more important to me than the story when placing an order.
