Trying to confirm that the parts i have are genuine.
There's no lego branding in the base of the studs or on the underside square,
and both the examples i have are marked with the number 2586.
I can't find a photo with enough detail to confirm. Can anyone help by checking
their own examples?

I assume this is fake if it has no LEGO marking (there is plenty of room) and
the wrong part number. Lepin made a fake of the Death Star set, presumably this
is where they both came from. You might want to check other parts that came with
them.

I have checked mine 55990a in RB and it has 50990/51373 and also trademark. Hope
this help

For that part (looks like it’s a radar piece) if there isn’t a logo on the studs
on the top then it’s not LEGO
