Seller Ships to My Country Store: Longside Bricks
When this order came through, I could not add postage or packaging price as boxes
just said price can't be changed after order has been paid.
Order had NOT been and could NOT of be paid as I had never sent an invoice, and
my selling account is set up that I have to send an invoice before the buyer
can pay.
I processed the order as normal and then sent the invoice which I had to manually
change to included postage and packaging fees.
Also sent a message to buyer saying what has happened to date from my end.
No payment or response to my messages to date.
Now when I try to file a NPB it will only let me file a cancel request.
Does anyone know how to deal with this so a NPB can be submitted and filed ???

There is a way of changing it back (I think you have to change it twice). It
has been a while since I needed to.

In your case, it might have been they paid before updating it but it took a while
to reach you. If by bank transfer, they can be a few hours or days. Even paypal

No, they sent a manual (of incorrect value) Paypal payment, instead of using
the payment link, and set it to paid to let me know. As it was a VAT order, I
had to refund the manual payment, and they paid today using the link. In similar
situations in the past, I have at least been able to change the payment status
to "returned", but this time is was not possible to make any changes at all.
And I did try several times

Yeah it seems that is what the buyer has done but that should be impossible as
the paid option should not appear at buyer side until an invoice has been sent
from the seller.

If this is a glitch then its a serious one as there is nothing stopping every
buyer to placing an order then mark as paid straight away so seller cant add
shipping and packaging cost on

I can change the order status to "Pending" Processing" "Ready" "Paid" and "Packed"
but it does not matter which one I change it too (not tried the Paid one) it
still does not allow me to put anything into the shipping or add charges box
as each one just says " cannot change prices after an order has been paid for"
which to date it has NOT been paid for, and as i am only using PayPal for payments
then it should be impossible for them to even try and pay, as I hadn't changed
anything at my end so no invoice had not been sent to them, so the pay button
could not have appeared at their side so they would still have got the "wait
for seller to send you and invoice" message.
Huge glitch in the system by looks of it.

I just cant see how else to fix this other than complete the OCR and leave them
negative feedback

With the edit order button you can change the payment status as none and the
order status to ready. Then you can send the invoice.

Yes. The easiest one to find is at the bottom of the order detail page.

Thank you soooo much Jen
Yes I found the edit order link/button right at the bottom of the order page
in the small writing, which brought up a new box (which I have never seen before
lol) to change the order to "Not Paid Yet", then went back into my orders page
and was able to add the shipping and packaging costs as normal, so new invoice
now sent, which in turn should give the buyer a pay button in their my orders
page.
And if they still don't pay then I will now be able to file a NPB.
