If they were gonna use them, why did they use 4-digit DIDs? Messing around with
our ‘4-digit ID = rather old piece’ heuristic
It also makes it more complicated and we can’t say ‘6/7 digits for Element IDs,
4/5 digits for Design IDs’ any more.
