I was looking over the Slizer sets today, and I noticed something was off about
their invetories - the containers were included with them (as part of the main
inventory). This is odd since this is generally not the case with any other set
that contains a LEGO-compatible container, such as the Toa Mata. So I looked
into it - the set count of 8500 Torch / Fire Slizer is 33 on Bricklink, however
the box for Torch says 31 pcs.
I believe these two parts (32194, 32176) should be moved to Gear, and treated
more in a similar vain to the box included in for instance set 9053, and in general,
this would probably be a good move for a lot of BIONICLE and other Constraction
sets where the canisters and lids are often considered a play feature, even though
not part of the piece count. Thoughts?

I agree. It definitely makes sense, especially considering how the other set
containers are treated as gear.

Example:

Gear No: 48523 Name: Canister Lid, Bionicle Toa Metru with Pin Hole
*
48523 Canister Lid, Bionicle Toa Metru with Pin Hole
Gear: Storage: BIONICLE
