I need several specific parts to complete a set. I type in the first part, find
a seller, add it to my cart, type in the second part and they don't have
it. How can I search for several parts at the same time and find one seller?
I've been paying a lot in shipping fees for parts from multiple sellers.
Specifically I need 4295420 and 4213567 in white.

Create a wanted list(s). It is the heart icon on the top-right of the page.

Hello, I put the information below in my store terms because I get so many new
buyers who order one thing. Look up the set you want in Bricklink and off to
the side of each part you will see an empty heart. If you click on that heart
it will bring up a separate window that will ask you if you want to add it to
your want list. This is a fast way of gathering all of your wanted items in
one place.

Use the Bricklink Wanted list(s).  Buying brick can be cheap (or not) but shipping
is expensive and adds up quick.  I recommend putting everything you've ever
wanted in a Want list.  When you visit a store you can click on an item and at
the top of the store in the Shop tab is the Wanted List button.  If you click
this button it will show you all the items in that store that appear on your
wanted list.  This feature maximizes the Lego you are trying to buy in a store
while only paying shipping once.  It will help you save lots of time searching
and chasing after brick in multiple stores and paying lots of shipping.  It's
depressing to want a $1.00 item but end up paying 4X times that to ship it.
Using the Wanted List button helps you get a lot more of the Lego you want but
still pay the same shipping cost.

A wanted list can also help you organize what pieces you are looking for if you
are buying for multiple sets / projects.  I like to use the Remarks to remind
myself for what set / minifigure I am buying the part for.  These remarks show
up when you used the Wanted List button so you can decide if you want that part
from that buyer at that price.  It will also tell you how many of that part you
are looking for so you can determine if the seller has the quantity you are looking
for.

And lastly the Wanted list is very powerful in helping you locate stores that
have the part you are looking for.  By selecting an item (or more than one; or
even your whole Wanted list) you can select the Buy Button and Bricklink will
pop-up all the stores that are currently selling your item.  Then if you select
Auto-select, Bricklink will automatically choose for you the store with the cheapest
price with shipping.

There are lots of ways to play around with Wanted Lists and the buying features.
I recommend trying different combinations to see what works for you.  Good luck!

This is true for the Inventory tab on the set’s page:  https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=col01-1#T=I

But there’s no heart/quick link on the inventory page of a set (when you click
the ‘Inv’ link in searches): https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=col01-1

The difference may be confusing to new buyers (or old ones ).

If you click on that heart
it will bring up a separate window that will ask you if you want to add it to
your want list. This is a fast way of gathering all of your wanted items in

You may also use the “Part Out” page: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/partout.page
(Don’t click on the Want/big white heart on top of the page, just hover over
for a second to see the menu.)

The Part Out page proposes options on the first page and then you have the list
of parts in the set and can exclude some of them.

That’s a bit quicker as you add the parts all together, not one by one.

Then if you select
Auto-select, Bricklink will automatically choose for you the store with the cheapest
price with shipping.

Not exactly.  It chooses a selection of stores for a ‘good’ price, with a ‘good’
reputation, and, AFAIK¹, the shipping costs are estimated (even for stores with
IC).
And we don’t know what ‘good’ means exactly… but it’s a good starting point.

¹ That is, according to what admins said and never contradicted.

But then, except for the first remark about the possible confusion with the two
different ways to see inventories, that’s mostly nitpicking.
It’s great that you help new buyers from your Terms   (now if buyers would
read terms… )
