| I tried doing this through the set modification tool here but couldn't get
it to work, I suspect it's because what I'm trying to remove is a gear
and not a part.
We got a few of these from a brick and mortar store. When we asked why the 850567
wasn't in the packages we got they told us that they have been sellling this
set since it came out and that they never got one with the pens (850567) in them.
Has anyone confirmed that the 85067 that contains two pEducation is actually
part of this kit? I only have a single but trusted data point that says that
it is not part of the 66438-1 set

If you check the additional large image for the set, you will see the contents
of the opened box. The photo was taken by a former Catalog Admin. The set was
also inventoried from "Sealed Set Contents" by that same admin. Therefore, I
strongly believe the pens were in that set.
However, there does seem to be at least two editions of this set, so maybe the
earlier or later edition did not contain the pens.
Which guide do you have?
or
The first one is the guide from the earlier version seen in the image with the
pens. So possibly the later version did not have the pens.

We have the second version and none of them have the pen, we checked quite a
few.

| Perhaps a note on the set that there are two variants in the set and that the
most recent does not include the pencils would be pertinent.
Or even better, since the most recent one doesn't have the pencils, removing
them from the set and putting a note that the older version also includes the
pencils.
