Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 9474 Name: The Battle of Helm's Deep
*
9474-1 (Inv) The Battle of Helm's Deep
1332 Parts, 8 Minifigures, 2012
Sets: The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings: The Lord of the Rings

* Add 1 Part 30374 Reddish Brown Bar 4L (Lightsaber Blade / Wand) (Alternate) (match ID 13)
* Change 1 Part Reddish Brown 87994 Bar 3L (Bar Arrow) {match ID 0 to 13}

Comments from Submitter:
Found one REDDISH BROWN with length of 4 instead of 3 in one of the 8 sealed sets.
It seems that this one set is one of the earliest copies of these sets on the market - all small parts were packed together with bigger parts (no separate small polybags) and the instructions were packed in a sealed polybag, during all other 7 sets are packed in not sealed polybags and stabilized by a carton paper.

Also you could check the factory seal code that is on the boxes to check when
the set got packed.

I believe that your copy without the small parts bags is/was not factory sealed
but a used set whose parts were put back into the original large bags. It would
be extremely unusual to have large and small parts mixed in the same bag. I have
never seen anything like that in a modern set. 03S3 also means it is a set from
January 2013 so not from the first production run. And in my opinion we now have
too many oddities in the set:

Part No: 3455  Name: Arch 1 x 6
*
3455 Arch 1 x 6
Parts: Arch {Dark Bluish Gray}
and

Part No: 4495a Name: Flag 4 x 1 Wave Left
*
4495a Flag 4 x 1 Wave Left
Parts: Flag {Pearl Gold}
were both phased out around 2010, and then there is the 4L bar instead of 3L
and the strange instructions bag without cardboard which is also very unusual
for sets from the time.
I'm sorry, but I don't think I will accept any more requests that are
based on that set. And if you are not sure that 4495a came from one of the other
sets I will remove it again from the inventory.

No problem at all, but no, they are definitely FACTORY SEALED.

The numbered polybags are smaller than than in other sets but were originally
sealed like the set itself.

I have still sealed polybags 8 and 9 there, let me make a photo of number 8.

What makes you so sure about this?
I would say it is not that difficult to make a set look like new if someone really
wants to scam you. Bags can be resealed (I think even some sellers here do this
when they reuse the bags) and the LotR boxes have a glossy surface which makes
it possible to remove the seals and apply them again without any damage if you
are just careful enough.

But yes if possible please provide some photos of the remaining bags.

There are NO seals on the polybags, so what do you exactly mean?

Okay, might be just the top view images problem sorry if that is the case, but
they should be like these:

A wide seal with lines.

And I received falsely sealed bags in some sets and those are noticeable if you
look for it if you check the bag.

Many thanks. I'm sorry but now I'm definitely sure those were resealed
by the previous owner. Original sealed bags have a jagged edge. There is no way
your bags could be factory sealed.

Maybe check the seals of the box again and see if you can remove and apply them
yourself. Or check if you can find a fingerprint on them.

Btw...
  Because all parts are there

You already said yourself that there is a 4L bar instead of a 3L bar.

Hmm, if jagged edge is a prerequisite, the it is really true - nevertheless,
the parts are not used at all... the sticker sheet is there as well.

Those are definitely not factory sealed bags. Factory sealed bags have jagged
edges and a wide seal with creases. Those have most obviously been resealed.
You got duped.
