| Greetings Bricklink,
I am a new store with only 6 orders so far. the last 4 orders I sent out have
all received their parts, but haven't left any feedback. It's been a
few days for most of them and I don't think they are going to leave any.
I have posted in my terms that I will leave feedback if they do. The 4 buyers
were all new, most of them with zero feedback. Should I leave the buyers positive
feedback anyway since they were all perfectly fine and maybe it looks better
for my biz if I do, or should I stick to my terms and not leave any because
I really need their feedback too? You would think if they were trying to get
the feedback to become sellers they would be aware of all this. I also don't
want to look like I forgot to leave feedback. Let me know what you think!
Thanks,

| I would leave them all feedback, it might encourage them to leave it back. I
always leave it as soon as I ship, not much point in holding back leaving it.
Normally I wouldn't worry about it as it's common people don't leave
you any but if you want to get your score up a little you could send them a quick
note to ask them (once you've left yours first).

You should leave feedback. Customers are using their time and money to give you
their business. Leaving positive feedback for your customers is also part of
the entire shopping experience. Maybe they will appreciate the positive feedback
and shop with you again.
As far as buyers leaving feedback, first of all they are not obligated to. Secondly,
feedback from buyers can come weeks or months later.
I would not worry about it. Pretty soon you will see feedback start to pile up.

In feedback somebody has to be first. I never understood why some people feel
they are the privileged ones who have the right to control this. If you want
to only leave feedback after received then do it, just don't dictate/advertise
it. I am much less likely(I do not) to leave feedback when I see someone with
your feedback terms.

Agreed - feedback is just not as important to buyers as it is to sellers.

| I agree with what the others have said. I always leave feedback as soon as I
have shipped the order. I think it is good customer service. There is not much
you can do to get buyers to leave feedback, outside of providing some incentive
like offering a coupon to all customers that do.
You could also provide a note in the package saying that their feedback is appreciated.
If 50% of your customers are providing feedback you are doing pretty good.

This is also a good idea, maybe I'll write it on the invoice.

| Thanks All,
I'll leave feedback for everyone today. Just wasn't sure what the etiquette
was.

| As a seller, you should leave feedback for a buyer when they have either changed
the order to complete state or have left you feedback. That is your indication
that they have received, verified contents, and are happy with the order. As
a buyer, you should leave feedback once you’ve received and checked the order.

I always chuckle to myself when new sellers come to the forums about not receiving
feedback.
I have one question for you:
Are you here to buy feedback or sell LEGO?
If you are selling your LEGO like you want to at the prices that you want to,
then just be happy that you are getting business. As long as you do your part,
the feedback will eventually pile up.

Here's my order of processes..
1. Receive order
2. Pick, pack and mail order
3. I Leave Feedback
Rinse and repeat. The buyer's did what they are asked to do. Order and Pay.
So it is my turn to complete the rest and if they wish to leave feedback, that's
great, but it doesn't bother me if they don't either. Life is busy enough
as it is. Regardless though, I always leave them feedback for stopping by.

| As a buyer I wont leave a feedback until I receive one. I put in the order,
I paid, what more does a store want from me to be considered a positive buyer?
It seems often stores are waiting to make sure everything is correct, and you
aren't a troublesome buyer (which you'll read here often), then only
leaving negative as a retaliation. It's ultimately up to you on how to leave
feedback, but there seems to be a general consensus for you from other sellers.
Good luck.
