Hi,

I have a lot of instructions and sticker sheets. They are all in a box, so I
need to go through all of the boxes each time. I am sure there is a better way,
but I can not come up with one.

How do you guys store yours?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks

And you just mark the binders with numbers?
It is such a huge number of instructions and stickers, that would be a lot of
binders

Binders for the sticker sheets and filing cabinets for the instructions.

I mark each sheet protector with the set number. They are in binders in numerical
order. I label the edge of the binder with the first and last set number it contains.
I have 32 binders full, but I am the largest seller of stickers in the US.

Regardless your size, you’ve got plenty of Lego Sticker experience here, therefore
a go-to guy on the topic, imho:

I don't know about the others, but I'd like to see what 32 organized
binders of sticker sheets, looks like?

Firstly, it depends somewhat on if you are talking about your personal collection
or BL Inventory. I will reply as to storing Inventory:

Stickers don't occupy much space and having them LABELED with the Set Number
is the most important thing. If each sticker has it's own zip-seal bag,
write the number on the bag. That alone will save you more time than anything
else when trying to pack orders.

Any old shoe box or container will work that keeps the sticker sheets flat.
If you are willing to spend money, then I suggest one of those mid-sized plastic
3-drawer units -- the ones that are about one cubic foot in size. I suggest
separating the sticker sheets by either set number or by theme or -- my preferred
-- by SIZE of the sticker sheets -- one drawer for small and tiny stickers,
one for medium sized, and the last drawer for large sticker sheets. Use the
BL remarks field to tell you which drawer to look in when they sell.

For instruction books, use whatever is cheap and easy to obtain. Don't waste
yer money on expensive storage that might take up more space than it's worth.

I use stolen MILK CRATES stacked on their sides and bound with zip ties to make
cubbyhole storage. Then, the instructions can be stored in really inexpensive
pocket folders or file folders (dollar store purchases). For larger quantities
of duplicates, use cut down Lego boxes or cut down breakfast cereal boxes to
make custom-sized folders. Or just zip-seal bags. How you sort them is up to
you -- again, I go by size but by theme or set number works well, too. Example
-- all Star Wars instructions together, etc.

When I had larger quantities of instructions to store, I used garage-sale purchased
cheap pressboard type chests of drawers. A $5.00 yard sale dresser can hold
stacks and stacks of instruction books and keeps them pretty much dust-free.

Spending big bucks on inventory storage is not something I would ever do. I
would rather spend that money obtaining more inventory.

Much appreciated, thanks!
The idea with the bags is a good one and I will start that.

For instruction booklets, we have file boxes (currently 12) that occupy the least
accessible or non-prime inventory shelf space. They have lids for longterm storage.

Not interesting, really. It's been talked about. You're welcome nonetheless.

I actually posted in the hopes others might find more inspiration to retain for
resale, the instruction booklet when parting sets. Using the opportunity your
post offered. Some just don't see their full worth, imho.

Cheap and organized. I also have a large accordion folder for the bigger sets
and a second small one for expansion.

Oh, and the manuals go into a free file cabinet, companies are just tossing them
as they go digital.

For stickers try these. Pockets are different sizes, fits 90%+ of sticker sizes

https://www.amazon.com/Project-Life-Variety-Photo-Pocket/dp/B005TYUDMC/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Becky+Higgins&qid=1643056601&sr=8-2

Add a ring binder 12" x 12"

Our stickers aren't too organized, but for instruction booklets we use a
shelving unit with boxes. Each instruction booklet is bagged with the set number
in the top corner. Protects the books, makes it 10x easier to spot the one I
need.
