Some customer notified me that they are not able to check out.
They always get the message "Technical Problem".
I tried it by myself on a store from a friend and it doesn't work.

It is not the first time we have these problems.

I got several reports from customers too, they get Technical Problem, see screenshot.

What is also interesting:
All shipping methods are always shown. So my Free Shipping is also displaying
without reaching the minimum amount. When you try, you get Technical Problem.

Manual invoice options do work fine.

Thanks for looking into it. Hope it is fixed asap!

Yes, same here. But may I ask you, was that order over 60 euro (your Free Shipping
limit)? Because the order I received was over my free shipping limit and paid
by PayPal with IC. The problem seems to be related to some shipping methods,
in my case used for smaller orders. I have not changed anything in my shipping
methods for a long time.

In my case I have a shipping method "Free shipping" for NL customers on orders
over 59 euro. This method is now presented to all buyers, even for a 1 euro order.
When you want to check out, you get "System Problem". Most likely because the
Frontend shows all methods, but the Backend does a final check and refuses (luckily
or we'd be losing money on shipping). Because "free" is the lowest amount,
it's pre-selected and on top. That's why all smaller orders have issues.
When you manually select another option (that you meet all requirements for)
it works.

Someone showed me they can add 23 baseplates to a basket and select a shipping
method of 1 stamp (domestic 0,96 euro -- weight below 20 grams). Resulting
in a System Error (of course). Manually select a parcel and it works.

So hence my conclusion that the frontend is broken en shows all shipping methods
(no conditions filtered), but the backend does the checks and throws an System
Problem at you.

Hope this can be fixed asap! I've also opened a ticket some hours ago.

Okay, in my case, I don't have different shipping methods per discount but
I use the Rate chart in the shipping method. The order that caused error was
a parcel order(some huge items), 80 euro's and I have don't have any
discount for shipping on parcel at that order value.

So just maybe a coincidence that customer ordered a boat hull today without package
dimensions (my fault...), triggered the error, did a small test, manual invoice,
it works and then I checked the forums and saw this post figured it was the problem....

But busy now, but will try later on if I can replicate the issue somehow.

Interesting, thanks. I had a "Min buy" restriction of 59 Euro on the "free shipping"
method, at Order restriction section. This combined with a Weight Band. Have
this for years, can't remember why I configured it like this but it worked
until this morning. Now I changed it to a Price Band and the problem seems to
be gone...🤷‍♂️

Ok but now one could still order a lot of Lego and be presented with a shipping
method for 20 grams max. So Weight Band based shipping methods are malfunctioning.
Will disable them for now. This is too confusing for buyers.

Just tested on my end; my free shipping method did not show up when it shouldn't
have. It looks to be working fine on my end. However, I have had no orders for
13 hours now which is extremely unusual considering our store size and the current
season. Something definitely seems to be wrong.

I also found that the system shows "Shipping & Handling EUR 6.40" ALTHOUGH there
is NO SHIPPING METHOD for that order!
It is clear, that the system gets a problem, when

1. shipping and handling is selected by the system
but
2. the order does NOT ALLOW to select one shipping method

= "Technical Problem"

Programmers, please correct this BUG !

Same problems with my store.

Defaults to the free shipping method for all orders (should only be available
for orders over $250).

Then shows the technical problem message when you attempt to proceed to the payment.

Here since today 17 DEC 2021 (apparently, as yesterday it was working), our Automatic
discounts don't work anymore

Check the pic below, we have an automatic 10% discount set up for years
starting at 50€; it doesn't show.

... In fact, it also proposes me (obvious) inappropriate shipping methods - like
a few kilograms and a high value in an padded envelope !?

It seems the packaging decision is also completely broken.

Looks like all shipping methods are shown indeed. Then, if you pick one that
is invalid (and was supposed to be hidden) you get System Problem (Backend validates
too and says NO). Also weight is broken, it always shows 20 grams envelope shipment
even for 25 base plates.

The ticket I opened this morning still says "Waiting For Agent". Let's not
start a pretty busy weekend in this state please....

Every day we have 25+ orders
Some messages about system problem

So how should we pay fees to you?
For us fees value is a 1.5 of our selling day.
And other 29.5 selling days are for paying salary, government fees and other
charges.
So should we don't pay to our employees or to the government because of the
system error?

Ah you are right. Their first response was they will fix it on Monday, so I thought
the person(s) capable of fixing this has started their weekend, maybe this was
