Before I can do this, I need to see if there are any significant differences
that affect the part's functionality. Do you have both versions of this part
and can take high resolution images of them side-by-side for comparison purposes?

This one have the central section completely straight, IIRC, the older one have
a sort of stud that enters into the hole i nthe motor. I will take a pic this
week-end.
