Just acquired these.

Looking for opinions from those who have more experience with minifigure parts.

Are these/some worth rebuilding ?

If their condition is good enough (for your personal use or to sell) then definitely
yes to those that just need hands.

A lot of the time you don't see the cracks in the arm until you put in the
hands or you don't see the cracks on the side of the torso until you wedge
your finger in them a bit or put them on legs - but I wouldn't go out of
my way to buy hands for them if you don't have them lying around.

Just start to try to fix some up and you'll quickly either see it's worth
it or it's more trouble than it's worth

I would rebuild the Blacktron, M-Tron, and classic space (I see a red torso and
a black) at the very least. If you can get a black vintage helmet cheaply, the
black spaceman is pretty desirable, and the helmet is the only other costly piece
apart from the torso:

Minifig No: sp003 Name: Classic Space - Black with Air Tanks
*
sp003 (Inv) Classic Space - Black with Air Tanks
Minifigures: Space: Classic Space

Thank you.

Might have a black helmet in stock, fingers crossed.

I've sold 2-3 of these, I think all between $14 and $20 (the last one looked
almost new, just amazing condition)

Hadn’t realised that they’d increased in value to their present level.

I’ve about 8 - 10 of the the figures put away.

Blacktron's helmet is a little different than the standard black astronaut.
I literally just packed up my last black helmet for shipment and was looking
at the two because it somehow ended up in blacktron's spare parts bag. Blacktron's
helmet is part# 2446 while the black astronaut's is 193au.

Aaaaand I just realized what you meant. Sorry, I misunderstood what you were
suggesting.

Agreed, try to rebuild the black astronaut and Blacktron. I have the air tanks
(last black astronaut part) so you'd help me clear out inventory but it's
probably cost prohibitive with shipping.

Black classic spaceman is more likely to be

Part No: 193b2 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thick Chin Strap - with Visor Dimples
*
193b2 Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thick Chin Strap - with Visor Dimples
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear {Black}

than

Part No: 193au Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thin Chin Strap (Undetermined Type)
*
193au Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thin Chin Strap (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear {Black}

(yes, I know what the inventory says, but I think the inventories are a bit messed
up)

Very valid point. I'm in no way shape or form an expert on classic parts
and mold types and I rely heavily on the inventory/catalog.

The problem is, that if anyone has sealed set containing one of these guys, they
definitely do not want to open it to see what kind of helmet the black astronaut
has

But in my experience both blue and black classic spacemen have thick-strap helmets.
Red, white, and yellow can vary. My recollection is that the transition to the
thick strap was made before the blue and black spacemen were introduced. I'm
sure there were exceptions.

FWIW, my rule of thumb for these classic guys is to pair a thick chinstrap with
a torso with prongs and a thin chinstrap with a torso with no prongs.

There were.
In my experience, exactly 33.33…%¹ Black Spacemen had a thin-strap helmet.

I've sold spacemen with white moons. Granted they're less desirable than
the ones with intact gold moons, but they do sell. And black being the rarest
would definitely sell, I think, and make a bit of money even with a white moon
as in the OP's picture.

The red space torso looks like it has a pretty good moon.

I’ve dozens of the classic space men with and without the gold, just love these
sets and futuron.

Still can’t resist looking for monorail 6990 parts in any bulk for sale, working
on a fifth set at present, just found a few track pieces.

Set No: 6990 Name: Futuron Monorail Transport System
*
6990-1 (Inv) Futuron Monorail Transport System
692 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 1987
Sets: Space: Futuron
