Hi

Part No: 194cx1 Name: Minifigure, Utensil Hose Nozzle Simple with 13L String (Undetermined Type)
*
194cx1 Minifigure, Utensil Hose Nozzle Simple with 13L String (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil
Marked for Deletion

Should the green one be on a separate variant.

The yellow, Black and Grey use Black string, the Green one has Green string.

There is no way of knowing this until you click on the colour.

The description of 194cx1 should state black string, and a new variant for green
string should be created

If I have assumed incorrectly, can anyone explain why they are all on one item

Great question. It's similar to

Part No: 63141 Name: String with End Studs 21L Overall with Rope Climbing Grips (16.1cm)
*
63141 String with End Studs 21L Overall with Rope Climbing Grips (16.1cm)
Parts: String & Net

All of the colors match the string color, except for brown which has brown climbing
grips and end studs, but uses a BLACK string.

This is an example of intentional catalog simplification for practical reasons.
The colors in these assemblies are left undefined so they can be placed together
under one entry. That's fewer entries for buyers to have to sort through,
and you can see all the info on one page.

I understand the desire to make everything exact and defined, but as long as
the images show the correct item, what difference does it really make?

I guess it is not a problem unless they do another green one with a black (or
other colour) string.

A simple note added could suffice. I agree with keeping things simple.

I agree that the one with the green string should be separated out. If there
were more than one entry, then it would be easier to know that the parts were
made with different colors. As it is currently, this information is not readily
available. We also have relationships to easily link parts that are very similar,
and we do this sort of thing all the time.

Cheers,
Randy

I have completed the necessary catalog work to split the original entry.

Part No: 194cx1a Name: Minifigure, Utensil Hose Nozzle Simple with 13L Black String
*
194cx1a Minifigure, Utensil Hose Nozzle Simple with 13L Black String
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil

Part No: 194cx1b Name: Minifigure, Utensil Hose Nozzle Simple with 13L Green String
*
194cx1b Minifigure, Utensil Hose Nozzle Simple with 13L Green String
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil

I have also submitted all necessary inventory change requests to get the original
entry removed from all inventories.

Once the inventory change requests have been accepted, I will consider this request
complete.

Cheers,
Randy
