| I am not located in the US, but will be visiting soon.
I have some items I would like to buy from US-based sellers. They do not ship
overseas, but I would like them to ship to my hotel in the US.
Unfortunately, Bricklink doesn't seem to allow me to add a second mailing
address in the US. Because these sellers don't ship overseas, I can't
get to the Checkout page to confirm if there are ways to edit the mailing address.
I also tried to see if I can change my primary address in my BL profile, but
it seems like that will close down my store.
Is there anything I can do, short of creating a second account with a US-based
address just so I can buy from the US to ship within the US?

Even if you do that (specify a US shipping address), some sellers will not accept
a payment that isn't associated with a US payment card. If you have PayPal,
it is homed to your residence country, not to USA. So payment could be an issue
here.

Additionally, I suggest you contact the US-based Sellers you plan to buy from
(before you attempt to place an order in their stores), and explain what you
are planning on doing (trip to the US; have items shipped to a hotel while you're
here)... because it seems that this will be a little complicated no matter how
you work it out, and you wouldn't want those US-based Sellers thinking you
are doing something fishy just to bypass their shipping policies.

It might be worth contacting admin Russell in advance and asking about a second
US based account so as not to cause problems.

| You should be able to change your PayPal address then ask the sellers to ship
to PayPal address only and mark package “hold for guest arrival on (date). In
address line on PayPal put yout name “In care of” hotel name and address.
