* Add 1 Part 3005pe1 Yellow Brick 1 x 1 with Eye Simple Black and White Pattern (match ID 99)
* Add 8 Part 3003 Red Brick 2 x 2 (Alternate) (match ID 99)
* Add 8 Part 3003 Blue Brick 2 x 2 (Alternate) (match ID 99)
* Change {2 to 1} Part Yellow 3005pe1 Brick 1 x 1 with Eye Simple Black and White Pattern
* Change 8 Part Trans-Dark Blue 3003 Brick 2 x 2 {match ID 0 to 99}
* Change 8 Part Trans-Red 3003 Brick 2 x 2 {match ID 0 to 99}
* Change 2 Part Trans-Red 3039 Slope 45 2 x 2 {match ID 0 to 99}

I parted out 2 sets and I got 1 each yellow bricks with eyeballs, 14 each red and blue 3003 and no trans-red or blue 3003 or the trans-red 3039. There is a parts list on the side of the box and it matches the current inventory. I wound up with 811 parts, where I expected 800, and I did not find any pieces that were not already in the inventory. I may become addicted to sets like this.

I may be mistaken, but I believe MID 99 is only intended for use when a model
is redesigned. Is there a redesigned model in this set (as shown in a different
version of set instructions), or is this just a case of content variation
between different sets?

Content variation. There is no model at all.
