Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 8810 Name: Cafe Racer
*
8810-1 (Inv) Cafe Racer
80 Parts, 1991
Sets: Technic: Model: Riding Cycle

* Change 2 Part Light Gray {4273 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Toggle Joint Toothed to 4273a Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Toggle Joint Toothed - Without Slots}

Comments from Submitter:
Instead of 2x 4273 (with Slots) it should be 2x 4273a (without Slots).
On the photo of the b-model on the original instruction you can see that there are no slots

Unfortunately, I cannot find any good images of the parts in sealed bags, but
I did find some good looking used sets with *and* without slots. Therefore, I
am not sure about the possible inclusion of just one or the other. It is very
probable that it may have had both at some point, in which case we would be looking
at an alternate part scenario instead of an outright switch of the parts.

Therefore, I need more to go on.

Is your only source for requesting this change the instructions? If so, I feel
that it is best for now to leave the inventory as is until better data comes
forward. But if not, please let me know if you have any further information that
I could use (you own the set, the set was purchase new by you or for you, the
pieces of the set have never been mixed with parts from other sets, etc.).

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Randy

hi,

I own the set twice. Both of them were in a good, but used condition, when i
got them. In one of them there are only parts wihtout slots, in the other one
there is one with slots and one without.

Unfortunately, I cannot make changes like this based on used sets that were not
originally owned by you. There is just too much likelihood for errors. Also,
instructions are not the best proof of a part variant since differences between
images in instructions and true set contents have been found so many times.

Since

Part No: 4273 Name: Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Toggle Joint Toothed
*
4273 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Toggle Joint Toothed
Parts: Technic, Connector
is technically an undetermined variant (i.e. there is no separate 4273b entry),
the inventory for now is theoretically correct concerning this part as that entry
can contain either 4273a or the non-existent 4273b. Therefore, this request will
not be accepted at this time.

Cheers,
Randy
