| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Change 6 Part Light Bluish Gray 2850b Technic Engine Cylinder without Side Slots {Alternate to Regular} {match ID 1 to 1}
* Change 6 Part Light Bluish Gray 2850 Technic Engine Cylinder {Regular to Alternate} {match ID 1 to 1}
Comments from Submitter:
confirmed with the original submitter that the version without slots is more accurate for this inventory

The original submitter of the inventory is notorious across many inventories
for *not* having the proper variants logged in the inventories they submit. I
even corrected one of the glaring errors earlier in that set (the wheels). The
inventory is also listed as having "Parts List" as source. Therefore, I would
be inclined to think that 2850 was never the correct version in the set, and
it should be removed entirely until someone can prove it otherwise.
Cheers,
Randy

Hi! Thanks, but from this angle it is impossible to see if the engine pieces
have Side Slots or not

Ugh. Sorry. One of the differences between the parts *is* seen in the first (and
the second) pic It's the non-slotted version.
The 42022's that I have also contain the non-slotted version. The slotted
one was already discontinued when this set came out, but now we have a confusion
because the original inv. submitter did not care for the mold differences
Thanks for help!

If there is confusion on an alternate, then get rid of the wrong mold unless
a reliable source (preferably an approved inventory verifier) confirms the existance
of it's presence in a set. I've always been in favor of such, it does
mean more work but at least it's more reliable

Done Let's see if it flies.
How to become an approved inv. verifier anyways? I tried my luck a while ago
but have not received any kind of reply to my application.
It might have been while Admin Eric was still here though.

I completely agree but not sure if inv. admins are on the same page. The original
submitter agrees that he was likely incorrect, but there is no hard ptoof anymore
since he no longer has the very same set.
I dont know what kind of guidelines inv. admins must go by, and how (in)flexible
these guidelines are..
