Anyway for me it is very important
1./ I can pay using my Revolut Visa card, because i get an advantageous dollar/euro
conversion rate there.
2. Do not want to pay using paypal because I like the Monthly Statements on my
credit card better for all important purchases. I only use paypal for incoming
from customers.
I take it this gets resolved this week ?
Thanks !

I am new to the forum and BL. I have been playing around with setting up an
inventory, for an eventual BL store. I LOVE the Brickognize feature inside
Brickstore. That is sweet!
Yet I dont get a preview image when I set a piece under the camera?!?
I can still hit the space bar to take a photo and Brickognize does its magic
just fine. But I would like to have the preview image appear in the image box.
Is there something I am doing wrong?
I am on a Mac.
Thanks in advance.

What version of BrickStore are you on? The dev has been having issues with the
camera libraries he's using as they're kind of buggy on a mac. He's
released multiple versions in the last couple of weeks to try to fix those issues.
Try upgrading to see if that works. If not raise an issue on the brickstore
github project.

| When you purchase a Collectible Minifig set that is listed as “New - Complete”,
how do you feel about extra parts being included? I recently purchased about
a dozen collectible sets, and I was super disappointed when I saw that none of
the extra parts were included. That might sound petty, but hear me out - I often
buy new, complete minifig sets because they contain parts that are exclusive
to them, and I’m counting on the extras being included.
So, if the extras are not included, should the set be considered “complete”?

Doesn't matter how you feel about it. According to Bricklink the New - Complete
condition is expected to have extra parts.

| Dear BrickLink members,
Welcome back and thank you for your patience. We were down for longer than anyone
would have wanted. Now that we’re back up and running, we can share with you
what’s happened.
As many of you will know, we received a threat and ransom demand on Friday, November
3rd. We’d been aware of and actively managing some limited suspicious activity
since mid-October, with unauthorized sellers offering products at huge discounts
and fraudulently accepting payment from buyers.
As soon as we were aware of the potential escalation on November 3rd, we put
the site into maintenance mode out of an abundance of caution. We did this to
protect our members and keep complete control of the platform while investigating.
We found that a relatively small number of BrickLink accounts may have been accessed.
It is important to note that there is no evidence so far that our systems were
compromised.
At this stage we believe this was a ‘credential stuffing’ incident, where
someone obtains lists of usernames and passwords from a third party, often illegally,
and opportunistically tries to use them on a website.
Actions we’ve taken
Although we know that the BrickLink site was not breached, we've further
strengthened our security. We take the safety of BrickLink and our members very
seriously and will continue to step up security across the platform.
We’ve informed people where we have reason to believe that their accounts or
stores may have been impacted, and reminded members of ways they can make their
accounts safer and more secure by practicing good data security. Keep your systems
up-to-date with the latest patches, Use security software and create strong,
unique passwords for each website you use.
Again, we’re sorry for the interruption and inconvenience this has caused you.

| Hi,
So let's I have a list with 100 lots. I find a store where I can buy 50 lots.
I add them to my cart.
Is there a way to select another store and to look for the 50 other lots from
the same list.
And if so, let's say the second store sells 14 lots. Would it be possible
to look in a third store for the remaining 36 lots?
Yeah I know that BL has a tool to find stores that will let me get all the lots,
but the results are not always satisfying.
Have a nice one.
|
OK so if you have a wanted list and you hit Buy Now you are presented with a
list of stores ordered by how many items and lots that store can fulfill. You
can filter this list of stores to only the country you live in, etc.
You click Select button next to the store, you see the prices are reasonable,
you update the quantities you want and hit Confirm Store button at the bottom.
This store is now at the top of the search of stores. However the search at
the bottom now has been updated for the stores that can fullfill the rest of
the wanted list. Rinse repeat until you're list is fully spoken for and
then you can hit Create carts for each store and buy your parts.
Hope this helps. You can try this out without buying anything. Selecting and
confirming a store does nothing other than hold those parts waiting for you to
create a cart.

Hello!
I see that you have multiple sets! (X9)
I am looking to obtain two sets of eiffels apartment!
I would like these to be us releases.
These sets need to be MINT!
Please leave a star or some sort of signature on the box that tells me not to
open it. I am going to send it in to AFA to be graded. It would be nice if you
had an account lol.

Anyways, could we negotiate on a price for two sets?
A combined purchase?
I am open to FF if you are. Or on here.
Being that I am buying multiple.
I hope we can establish a long term relationship!

| I have an order currently where the buyer apparently paid by an echeck and the
PAID status has a Exclamation icon next to the status. https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=121
| Paid / Pending - Payment has been submitted but is still being confirmed by PayPal (typically due to an eCheck payment). Please do not ship until payment is confirmed. When PayPal confirms that the payment has cleared, the pending payment icon will no longer show next to the order payment status.
|
I have used the API to build an order pulling program to help me pull orders
more efficiently. I can not figure out how to identify this order as pending
using the API.
Order status is PAID and payment.status that is returned says 'Received'
This has to be a bug. The Paid / Pending flag is not a status. Either this
order should be a different status other than PAID or the payment.status should
be something other than "Received" cause neither is correct until the
payment clears.
Please advise!

The purpose of this pilot is to understand if being able to buy building instructions
and elements that go with them is something that interrests members on BrickLink,
there are many things that can be improved for the future, some that we have
chosen not to invest in for the pilot and some that you are teaching us would
have value to you. Thank you for all the feedback, please keep it coming, good
and bad.
One thing I would like to touch upon is the process of selecting the designs.
A number of considerations have gone in to the decision, first and foremost we
were guided by the voting through BDP, then we looked at the size of the designs
wanting a good variation of variety and sizes, then we decided to narrow the
number of MOCs for the pilot because of the initial work required with and by
the designers, we also looked at the maturity or quality of the building instructions
and finally we had to consider element availability in the marketplace.
We hope to learn so much more about the desire for a MOC Pop-up Store on BrickLink,
so again, please share feedback and please keep in mind that this is a pilot

Your order will be packaged excellently. You’ll receive an invoice within a few
hours after placing your order. Your order will have a tracking number. Your
order will be shipped within less than a few hours after I've received your
payment. I usually ship USPS First Class. If you want to place an order that's over
the USPS First Class weight limit. Message me for the bypass password so you
can place the order.

As a potential buyer you lost me on “You’ll receive an invoice within a few hours
after…”
I want to know what shipping costs are and buy immediately. I don’t care which
service of mail it is either I just want it to arrive fast.
Might I suggest looking into a flat rate for your shipping (I have it set up
in my store).
I did a podcast episode with Pop’s Block Shop on Shipping Strategies a couple
of years ago talking all about this and the benefits of flat rate shipping.
