No clue why paypal had to switch to shipstation.

Yes, we ran into this last night and used Pirate for those labels.

Agreed, not liking the change.

Weird, the first we tried worked, the second didnt, so unfortunately not a reliable

Hi, thanks to all for thinking about Dan on this day.

About the Admin minifig . . . In his mind, Dan played around with LEGO pieces
and different colors, and in a lot of cases they did not exist. The Admin minifigure
is one of them. Dad had a real bias for blue, because he said he thought it looked
a lot like Hawaii, which is where he grew up and lived when he established BrickLink
(BrickBay) in 2000. To replicate Dan's vision of Admin as a minifig, I had
a torso custom-printed in Australia that matches what Dan came up with. The
blue torso with that design does not actually exist. But here is what it looks
like when it does in actual LEGO bricks.

Love to all!

Eliska (Dan's Mom)

  Hi,

I'm not sure exactly how to express my question so I will start with what
I already know how to do and hopefully the follow up question will make sense...

- I know when you search by your wanted list in a store it says the list(s) it
is from (and the quantity have/wanted)
- I know that you can have your ordered items added to your wanted list(s)

So the question is once I've placed an order is there a way to still see
which wanted list(s) the parts are for? If that makes sense?

Any help appreciated please.

Thanks

If you go to the catalog page of an item that is on one or more of your wanted
lists, (after selecting the correct color) you can select "Add To My Wanted List".
In the pop-up window, a heart will be placed next to any of the wanted lists
that include that part / color combination.

All that hard work worth nothing because of a flawed feedback system. This needs

Your terms indicate this statement:

"Note that there is a high possibility of missing minor pieces for USED LEGO
sets due to the set being built and mistakes during the inventory process."

Do you verify inventories for each of the used sets that you've listed as
complete? Or is there a high possibility that your customers will need to request
the missing pieces once they find which ones are missing / damaged?

Comments from Submitter:
The catalog image shows pb03 as the proper helmet. I pulled out my sealed set 75211 and the image also shows pb03. I pulled out my sw0926 that I pulled from another sealed set and it is also pb03. There seems to have been an error when pb08 was created and probably should be deleted.

See image, pb03 left, pb08 right. I have marked some differences (probably not
all of them). Our catalog image, the box and the Brickset review clearly show
pb08.
https://brickset.com/article/36217

So I honestly don't know why pb03 should be the correct helmet for this figure.

The rendering in the catalog isn't nearly as helpful as the image in your
post, thank you. Is there a different catalog image available for 87556pb08
that I'm not seeing?

I had to do some searching, because I too would have sworn this was under "slope,
curved." I have no idea why it's under "brick, modified" when it's such
an obvious sister to this part:

Part No: 6091 Name: Slope, Curved 2 x 1 x 1 1/3 with Recessed Stud
*
6091 Slope, Curved 2 x 1 x 1 1/3 with Recessed Stud

I think they just missed this one.
Looking at the change logs they moved all the other parts with curved slopes
except for this one.

It definitely wasn't missed:

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1246625

Why was arch not considered, similar to this:

Part No: 6005 Name: Arch 1 x 3 x 2 Curved Top
*
6005 Arch 1 x 3 x 2 Curved Top
Parts: Arch {Black}

I looked through the previous discussion and didn't see that option discussed.
Both of the parts in today's discussion would fit in the arch description?

Apologies if this topic has been covered, I tried searching but I couldn't

Does BL's tax collecting system account for sales tax holidays? My state
(MA) is having a tax-free weekend tomorrow and Sunday. There will be no sales
tax charged on any items below $2,500, including items ordered online.

I know big sites like eBay etc. work this into their systems, do we know if BL
will as well? I may be mistaken, but I think this is the first time our state
has done this since BL started collecting sales tax.

I was thinking of spending a bit of disposable income here this weekend, but
I don't want to get into a situation where I have to chase down sales tax
I wasn't legally obligated to pay.

Thank you

There are many states that have tax-free weekends, largely advertised for back
to school shopping.

  Hi,

I am new to Bricklink and I have just placed my first order. I was wondering,
how long can you keep an order open until you change the status to "Complete"?
I assume that I will not be able to verify that I have received all the parts
until I start building the set. And I can be a very slow builder.

A buyer is not required to ever change the order status to "Complete". It is
courtesy (but not required) to change the order status to "Received" once you
have the package in your hands, then to "Complete" once the inventory of the
order is verified.

  Hi,

While we’re all occupied with plurals, I remembered that gear teeth are spelled
“tooth” for most parts
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?q=gear+tooth&catType=P&catID=
but “teeth” for a few others
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?q=gear+teeth&catType=P&catID=
(mainly the new gear plates and the differentials).

Is there a rationale?  For both the difference and the use of the singular because
I’ve trouble understanding why it’s “tooth.”

Opening up quite the nest there!

For me, an x-tooth gear contains x teeth. So, "gear with x teeth" is another
way to say "x-tooth gear".

I agree, it should be standardized (or duplicated?).

Hilarious! The Kool Kid and I just had an "argument" yesterday about this.
He kept asking me for two white teeth, and I was looking for the 1x1 modified

a horn, claw, or barb...THESE are teeth". Now, how to convince him I was still
right. *BLUSH*
