Unbelievable...I wonder if there will be a bid retraction. Can't stand those
people. Otherwise, this is the most I've seen for this set. Crazy!

Was listed as a BIN of $75,000 for pick up only....

It has now 'ended' but wasn't sure how much it went for....anyone
know? Anyone here actually buy it?

Not me...

So I keep checking under TLG's 'rewards' to see the next Collectibles...waiting
for a small set or some cool thing...

Yes, they came back with the coins but I already had them from the first release.

Finally, those hideous Fiat prints have been removed...so there is nothing for
me.

So I have thousands of points which I know I could use for some nice discounts
but I was wondering if anyone knew what the next collectible or free set might
appear there? Hate to submit my rewards for a discount just before something
cool was released that required points....

Thanks for any info

Hello,

I know that once you 'cash-in' your Lego points for a rebate or item
code that you have a limited amount of time to use it/them.

But what about the points in general? Do they expire? If so, how can you see
how much time is left on certain points vs others?

When you buy something, are the 'older points' used first?

Thanks,

LM

So...is it true that TLG has pulled this set to change it (that's why it
was out of stock for so long) because the, well, tiger's 'butt part'
is now considered offensive?

Anyone else have any info?

Granted, this boxed 1970's souvenir set with pamphlet may not be in the catalog,
but if it IS, where would it be found? Under Gear? What would it be called?
I'm not having any luck with 'search words'....thanks for any/all
info.

WOW~!

He was the first behind the LEGO architecture series and was one of only a handful
of LEGO Professionals (like Nathan Sawaya).

But check this out:

384396856713

From what I can see there are NO LEGO logo on the studs, and further down in
the description it says "Lego compatible"...

So then this post wouldn't be a link to Lego on another site.

You can find other models from his "Atom" company...most, Frank Lloyd Wright
models.

Does he still hold the LEGO Professional title? Is he still even remotely associated
with TLG?

Thanks for any info...

Hello,

I used to be able to log into my account at lego.com, click on an item and if
it was 'out of stock' I could hit the button to 'check local lego
stores'. Then you enter your zip code and it would let you know which store
actually had this item.

Saved me from calling the store. But I can't find this feature any more...anyone
know anything about it? Feature gone permanently or temporarily?

TIA...

Does anyone know if TLG has ever done an "event build" at Michael's craft
stores like they have done at Barnes and Noble, JoAnn Fabrics, Target, etc?

Thanks,

Hello,

So the above set is not yet in the BL catalog, but a few stores have it listed
as 'custom' so as able to sell. Does anyone know where/how this was
available? There is one or two on Fleabay and the description says it was bought
in NY at Times Square or thereabouts...

But sellers in Poland and other countries must have obtained them somewhere else...

GWP?? Maybe not yet available here in the US? Thanks,

LM

I have seen SO many posts relating to people COLLECTING LEGO and OLDER LEGO...

Some range from "why is my submission of this older, varied brick not getting
completed" to questions about older items in the catalog...to values of older
sets.

There was once, maybe it is too long ago to be searched, of a current inventory
admin or catmin saying that he/she did not 'hurry' or 'rush' older items because
"not that many people are concerned about them"....which I think is total rubbish.

There should even be a forum topic selection for "collectors"....but there isn't...

Just a thought...what might YOU think and why?
