Obviously custom as the red print at the waist goes across from torso to legs.
LEGO prints do not go all the way to the edges and a band of the base colour
would be seen between the printed parts.

thanks, didnt know that

Can't find a version of the instructions that use the parts in the alternate
instructions (like the 1x16 dark grayish blue brick).

Any pointers?

thanks

-pattern
but it returns everything. It seems that the negation search will only work
in combo with something else. Anyone know a work around? Cant do:
x -pattern
since I was thinking most items have 1x2 or 3x2 in them, but that is not long
enough.

Thanks

Only workarounds I can think of are:
- select the parts WITH pattern and move those to a different wanted list; but
if you have may lists that would be cumbersome
- copy the wanted lists to a spreadsheet and filter off site

yea, that is what I have been doing. Basically, I copy all of my want lists
to one, delete the "pattern", and then search for that. Just a lot of work

thanks

As I have said many times, the owners/developers are NOT users, so they do not
care

  Hi,

I have been repeatedly resetting the exact same settings for more than half a
year now -- countless times.

And over the last couple of hours, I've had to reset my settings under the
same (expletive) tab, in the same shop, during the same uninterrupted session.

I fail to understand why this problem, among others, is a non-priority for BrickLink
administrators.

Enjoy endlessly resetting your settings ... as applicable, Matthew

+1

Almost as annoying as not being able to filter out the wanted list items that
do not meet my price criteria.

  Hello,

While shopping in any BrickLink store, a click on a part's thumbnail image
results in a popup window showing the exact same, tiny-sized thumbnail image.

The change in visual information presented is zip, diddly, bupkis, niente.

An added click on the popup window's (strangely) secondary image takes the
BrickLink customer to what she or he was obviously hoping to see
... a large image of the part.

I don't understand why we have to endlessly and repeatedly deal with
this nonsense.

Fix it, Matthew

I am in the process of updating thousands of part images to use the new functionality
in the store interface. It is a lot of work and very time consuming. Until higher
quality images are in the database, the new system will use the existing small
images from the old site structure. The problem will get better over time, but
it is not going to go away in the blink of eye and is not a fault of the new
site. We just need better images and the work is underway.

For an example of how it should work, find any store selling

Part No: 92593 Name: Plate, Modified 1 x 4 with 2 Studs without Groove
*
92593 Plate, Modified 1 x 4 with 2 Studs without Groove
Parts: Plate, Modified
and click on the thumbnails while in the store.

Cheers,
Randy

wow, only IF there were some kind or programming trick where you can use one
image IF you have it ELSE use the old small one. IF it were possible, THEN it
would be useful. ELSE IF it is not, maybe someone could invent it

Something simple that the developers could add quite quickly to the price guide
which would help those who use it and are shocked when someone has a non-appropriate
price against an item. In the totals column they could put a total value as well
as total lots and total quantity. If that figure was there, you could easily
subtract the non appropriate value and work your own average price (if that is
how you set your pricing).

There was an example of this this morning. part number 11477 in Dark Purple.
According to the price guide the average price for a used piece should be 1.09,
but when you look at the list of prices for each country this cannot be right.
Then you see an entry for a seller in the USA who has obviously made a mistake
at £45+ which sways the actual average from around 9p to the 1.09. Knowing what
the total value is you could subtract the high value (and quantity, of course)
and easily calculate the real average.

Whilst we believe the entire price guide needs rethinking this could help in
the short term and quite honestly producing the total figure in the query that
brings back the results is less than two lines of code.

Comments?

They should just throw out the top 10% and bottom 10% for a quick fix

Why 10%? Why not 5% or 16%? Or anything more than 3 (or 2 or 1) standard deviations
from the mean or the median?

please research "quick fix"

No, they really shouldn't. That would significantly degrade the value of
the data in my opinion.

Please add the stickered parts to the "part out" feature - or at least an option

stickered parts, even though they are listed in the inventory alternates in the
catalog.

Thanks,

Yea, I have the same problem. I would like to have a check box option to include
the stickered parts or the non-stickered ones. It would also be nice to pick
the "alternitive" pieces easlier (real pain when parting out an older 6211)
