| It depends on the size of the set. For the really big sets, I usually part out
a quantity of 2. For most medium size sets, I usually part out a quantity of
4. For the small sets, I will part out 6 to 8.

| Hey Guys,
I'm sure this must have been discussed in the past but I can't find any
relevant threads so apologies if that is the case (+any links appreciated).
For those of us who part out new sets how many copies of each do you tend to
go with? I'm a little hesitant with going to deep in a single set in case
it doesn't perform to well.
Cheers

| Please take a look at Brick Seller.

| I recently switched my personal accounting from highly detail, meticulous, time
consuming spreadsheets over to Mint.com. And I'm aware I am not going to
be getting the detail I have always had, which is what made me wait so long,
but I've accepted that the time is just not there to continue the way I had.
Now that my personal accounting is caught up, I've been working on getting
my business accounting caught up for taxes and all. And peace of mind.
I have never bothered with 3P software on Bricklink and though some more inventory
tools would be handy I get by okay with what is there. So I've not paid
attention to what people say about API and such in the forum. I still don't
think I want to dive into advance inventory management, but if one of these programs
digs out all of my order information in a handy way like Mint where I can just
keep my totals and numbers up to date, I'd like someone to pitch it. I would
love to have the hour or more a week that I spend updating spreadsheets back.

| I also have switched to using PirateShip and use the csv import integration.
Works very well. I only wish they had and API so that I could more tightly
integrate it with Brick Seller.

| I've been seeing lots of sellers mentioning Pirateship as their preferred
method. For those who are using it:
How are you importing your order info?
Are you copy/pasting each order or are you using CSV? If I understand their
website right, I can't integrate with PayPal like I can on Shipstation. When
shipping 20+ orders per day that seems really inefficient.
|
I'm going to be an outsider here but I use PirateShip but I've also coded
my own order pulling and Shipping program. When I get to the shipping screen
I just download the csv file that I generate and import - Purchase - print.
On orders that need a little more effort (usually over a pound) in figuring out
the cheapest best way to ship I can copy/paste in the address.
Before I started using PirateShip (Early December) I was still using Paypal Multiorder
shipping as I hadn't gotten switched to ShipStation yet.
BTW if you want to see more of the order pulling software I wrote for myself
you can see a montage of me building it on my Youtube channel here https://youtu.be/v8HKVvXMbvU?t=691

mean by "store API address"?

| The BrickLink API allows you to get the Price Guide Past 6 Months Sales data
for US sellers only. This is incorporated into the Continuous Price Updates
feature of Brick Seller.

| I have asked this question in the past but there wasn't a solution. I am
hoping someone may have been able to find one since then.
For sellers like myself who only sell to US customers and want to price their
items based strictly on available US inventory, BL's price guide returns
very inaccurate results, usually below the lowest prices.
Has anyone figured out a workaround to this issue so that a seller could extract
pricing based solely on inventory located in the US?

| Is there a way to import the price guide into Brickstore using 3 decimal places.
For some high volume items there is a big difference between .016 and .024,
both of which I'm guessing is rounded to .02 for the price guide purposes.
